She tossed her head to flip the lock of fur from her eyes. She was bored. Where were all the males? She hadn't had any proper fun in the longest time, and she thought it was about time she got some!
He smiled softly to himself. Tending to a small Rose garden he had grown along the side of the temple. The place needed more color, as he always thought. Today was an Orange Rose tucked behind his hair, bloomed big, a slight glitter to its petals as the sun played with it.
He ran his nose gently across a newly bloomed pink rose. Then moved to inspect the Blue ones next to them.
Not nearly enough color in his opinion, but for now, it would do… of course until he found more Rose Goddess followers. He got a dreamy look on his face, imagining the entire temple covered in colorful roses. Ohh how good that would smell.
He was to preoccupied with his Roses to notice anyone near by(edit: yaay! ^_^ this is post 100)

Kayre turned a corner around the temple, and suddenly was surprised by a burst of color. A male Malu bent over, tending too the flowers. They were the most gorgeous things she had ever seen, their petals look soft, shimmering in the light of the sun, gently wafting in the breeze. They were all roses, delicate, fragile, and beautiful.
"They are beautiful, but I think oyu need more blue" she said softly, strutting up to the male. She vaugly recognized him. No batter, time to have some fun.

The fur on the back of his neck stood on end and he just, startled by the sudden appearance of someone, and a female nonetheless, could he BE anymore awkward around them? He was facing her now. Not really sure, how he had ended up like that, but he guess he had spun around when she had Spoken to him. Ears plastered back his already pinkish cheeks flushed a little, the complement on the flowers finally registering in his mind.
He had seen this female before. How could he forget, she was Blue, he himself was an odd shade of blue, and it was his favorite color. It also made sense that blue roses meant “unobtainable”
He cleared his throat nervously and glanced around timidly at the Roses “y your think?” he asked meekly “I try to balance the c colors out where I can”

Now Kayre remembered this Malu clearly. He was skiddish, and got frightened easliy. Maybe she should try not to come on so strong?
"Oh yes, they are unbelivable. You grew them all? All by yourself?" she said, widdening her eyes and moving closer to him. "Must have been really, really hard. Maybe you could use a little... help? You know, they say a girl has a certain... touch with garndening"
She gently touched the petel of the rose with er paw, it was just as soft as they looked. "Oh yes. Blue is one of my favorite colors." she said, flipping the lock out of her face again. "What is your favorite color?" she asked.

He raised his brow in surprise hearing her interest in helping him with the Roses. He watched her carefully stroke one of the roses. Maybe this could be a good opportunity to try and convert others. But even set that aside, the thought or nursing roses with someone else… well as uncomfortable as he was around others. He didn’t think he would mind so much is she really wanted to help.
He looked back at her when she asked about his favorite color, but quickly looked down at the ground
”bl-“ his voice crashed and he cleared his throat again “I like blue also” he answered softly
“And yes, with the help of my Goddess the roses bloomed surprisingly well”
Talking about roses always calmed him, despite how fast his heart was beating. He honesty didn’t know how to act around females. He tried to keep his mind on roses, still starring determinedly at the ground.

"Oh, so we both have the favorite color" she said with a smile. "So I suppose your godess is that of the Roses? Interesting choice, I have never heard of her before" she said, leaning down and plucking a tiny weed from the ground. She thought the roses were gorgeous, but she didn't care much for the dirt. Or the work. Females like her didn't often work.
"So, do you have any lady friends?" she asked, looking over at him. She didn't really care, mated or not mated, she wold still go after the male. But she wanted to make conversation. He seemed so skiddish, she knew she needed to calm him down.

He leaned his head back a bit, causing the orange rose to become slightly crooked, east still plastered back.
She sure liked to talk a lot. He was finding it hard to decide when to answer and when to just listen.
He tried to straiten his stance a little at the mention of his Goddess,
But he slunk right back down when she asked him about lady friends.
”Um, no” he said meekly “I- I don’t really know any other Malu” trying to distract himself he walked over to one of the rosebushes, ducked down and clawed halfway underneath it, hiding his head and shoulders.
He fixed the soil underneath, checking if it was doing well. And picked off dead leaves from the bush underneath.
“only a couple of young ones I’ve been looking after”
he continued to work under the bushes, finding it easyer to talk if he was not achualy looking at her.

Kayre giggled at his little quirks. For a moment, just a moment, she felt like she didn't want to seduce this male, and that maybe she needed just... a friend? Like him, she didn't have any friends. Sure, she would pal around with males for a few days. But once they got boring to her and she left, they had a tendency to not like her too much.
But, the moment was fleeting. "Really? I think the little buds are cute" she said with a smile, cringing as she picked another weed. Gardening was so dirty. Most of the time, if she was in an instance like this, she would get the male to do it for her. This situation was rather odd.

He paused a moment, tilting his head to the side. The buds? “You mean the Roses?” he asked, continuing his work “or the children?”
He stopped working again; pushing the pile of dead leaves he had collected to the side with his paw, and just laud his head down on the soft rich soil he had gathered for the Roses, he closed his eyes slightly, just enjoying the shade they gave him, taking in the wonderful fragrance of his beloved Roses. He could almost feel his Goddess caressing his face as he lay there. Cautious of the thorny stems surround his head neck and shoulders. But by now he had become quite good at evading them.
“Have you cared for children?” he asked in return, feeling slightly braver.

"Well, both are cute" she said with a smile, watching him. He seemed to be enjoying himself down under the bush. "Me? Oh... well. I don't know. They are very adorable and cute....but they tend to be rather... oh how do I say this. Boring." She moved closer to him, bushing her paw against his. "I think adults are su much more fun"

Boring? Children? Well, to some he guessed that could be the case, but Amadeus and Odyss had caused more trouble for him then he would have ever normally experienced in his life… well Vivaldi had to give the kid some credit, all the fleeing from the younger while he played that godforsaken “hunt” game, did keep Vivaldi in shape.
He barely caught what she said next because he suddenly felt her paw touch his. It was soft, and gentle, and it was the first time a female had actually made physical contact with him. He blinked down at it, the contrast of the two blues looking strange to him, his heart started to beat rather fast, and it was momentarily painful. Flinching again her jerked up, knocking his head in a ring of thorns just above. “ah!” he slipped his paws back nervously
He cleared his throat again, quickly gathering the dead leaves and slipping them out from under the bush as he crawled out backwards. The Orange rose falling from his ear, he didn’t notice as he tried to busy himself with work again. Standing up strait and sweeping the leaves onto a sprawled square cloth.
“Oh… uh I see. Fun like…” come to think of it he didn’t really know what adults did for fun. Did they play tag or hunt like the children did?
“What kind of games to you like to play?” he tried to sound interested, but his voice was slightly strained, and he didn’t look up at her when he spoke.

Kayre jumped back slightly as the other malu reacted to her. She knew he was rather nervous, sometimes guys were, but this one... she had never met a malu that was THIS jumpy!
She watched him busy himself again, trying to pretend he hadn't just flipped out under a spikey bush. She smiled slightly. He himself was a bit like a child, only in an adult body. It was a bit irritating, but it made him all the more cuter, and made her want to play with him even more.
"Games? Oh, well I don't play most of the children's games" she said, miving her face very close to his "But I have some games I play myself, that I can teach you"

Vivaldi looked up at her, surprised to see her so close again, and she got closer, and closer, he made eye contact for the first time, something he wished he had not done. Something about those eyes, those blue eyes just stunned him. Ears fell back again, back legs bending slightly but not quite sitting down.
Black eyes widened his mouth shut very tight. What was she doing? Surely she could not have an interest in him, no one ever had… and as far as he was concerned, did before.
It took him a moment to find his voice. not finding it a simple task, he’d never had someone this beautiful put there face so close to his before… except roses… but roses he could handle! Clearing his throat he tried to say something
”o oh? What would that be… exactly” he said in a strained voice.

Kayre watched as Vivaldi shrunk down as he made eye contact. She was good at reading males,their eyes were like a book. His were brimming with...it was hard to describe. It was a hint of fear, but not the type children had. It was a nervous fear, the illogical kind. Afraid of something that couldn't be described, and no one could really figure out what it was.
"Well, first, you have to close your eyes" she said softly. He was clearly nervous, but at least he was standing his ground, for the most part. She stood, waiting for him to obey her comand.

Vivaldi had the sudden urge to just turn and return to his work, he loved his work, his goddess was counting on him to take care of her roses. But he was stuck there, Paralyzed in her eyes.
He just stared at her, hesitating for a long moment. he didn’t want to do it, but he could not move either, with out him thinking about it, his eyelids started to close, his brow furrowing in a nervous expression and he dipped his face a little lower. Why did he do that? What was going to happen now?
He panicked a little inside, imagining all kind of painful tricks she could pull on him in this weak state.
