Huni had been home for a few days now, she was still worried for Arri and Andi's condition. But hopefully they'll pull through... she sighed and reclined on one of the plush armchairs of the shop, quietly trying to reflect on the recent events.

His sons were late in coming home so he can come back to the Shop to see if they were still around. Upon finding them and sending them back home with some gentle warning. Sah was worried when the twins were out too long. Especially cause if they were gone and caused trouble.

Entering the shop, he looked around, noticing Huni about but looking rather tired and not wanting to bug her, he started to try to find where those boys hid his box. Evil things didn't bring it home like he had asked them too. However, Huni seemed upset and it had him concerned. "Hey there, Huni..." His voice was gentle. "You all right?"

The red head blinked in surprise, "Huh? Oh, yeah, just a little tired..." she smiled, fatigue evident in her voice. However, that didn't seem important right now to the red head. She got up, and headed towards the Study as if in a trance.

"Could I talk to you in here, just for a minute?" she asked.

"Sorry to have startled you... I hope you can find rest when you go to bed then..." Returning the smile, he followed her as she moved. "Of course." Though he was worried about her... even if he had no idea what was causing her upset, he was the type of person who wished to help. In any way he possibly could.

"Is there something you need of me? If it's about me dumping my box here, I'm sorry about that..."

"Oh, don't worry about that." Huni laughed, "It's more about what we've found that involves you..." she explained, opening the door to the Study wider.

"Involves me?" Oh, that caught his attention easily. It wasn't often something involved him. Wait... strike that. A LOT of things involved him, in some twisted way, shape or form. Tugging on an ear, something he did when he was rather curious, he watched her with the door. "Would you like me to open that?"

Huni just laughed, "No, I'd rather you go inside the Study." she grinned to Akiya. "There's something I have to talk to you about in there."

"Ah, hai hai." Getting the hint, he headed into the Study, though he was stingy and waited till she went in first. Sah always said he was polite when he wanted to be. The rest of that sentence will not be mentioned cause it involved things that made Akiya blush like nothing else. Only after Huni entered, did he step inside, looking about the Study itself. He had never been here before and his natural curiosity made his ears twitch. Oooh, books. He was a massive sucker for books and he wanted to seriously pick one and sit down somewhere to read. "So what is it you need to speak to me about?"

Please, don't let it be about his twins... please let them, for once, not make him have to pay for damages...

Huni closed the door behind them, her bangs suddenly falling over her eyes. She turned to Akiya, an eerie smile on her face as she fell silent. The Tome lying atop the table suddenly opened, the pages rustling back and forth until it settled into stillness.

Not at all disturbed by the door closing, he looked back at her. Oh yeah, that was a damn creepy grin. "Huni?" The heavy thudding sound of the Tome caused him to turn his head to study it curiously. "Hmm..." So was this where all the others came from? A huge Tome? Heh, almost like Obi's Higomui Tome, which was the biggest book in creation.

Smirking, he went over to study it more closely, wanting to touch its blank pages. Blank... the page was utterly blank. His eyes glowed faintly. "Innnnteresting..."

The Study and the Tome were highly intrigued by Akiya's reaction. Well, there was a first time for everything, they supposed. The lighting in the room seemed to dim, save for the area around the Tome. Gradually words began to form onto the pages.

"What is the Balance of Power?"

The dimming went unnoticed to the Angel, who was only focused on the paper ahead of him. The Balance of power... A frown of irritation showed on his face as he looked about for something to use to write in this book with. Nothing. No pencil, no pen... bleh, he could just an inkpot at this point.

Ah, but a better idea formed. Lifting his finger, he allowed a spark of blue light to flare there before he pressed it to the page. The light streaked over the pristine surface, words appearing and glowing in dark metallic blue before melting into black oblivion.

There is no such thing...

Laughter rang throughout the Study, like soft tinkling of bells. But eventually it grew louder, harder, and more maniacal. The Study changed, Huni was no longer present, and all that remained were flashes of white and black. The flashes became more and more rapid, more erratic, and yet strangely mesmerizing.

Eventually, the flashes stopped. Finally the Study reverted back to its original form, but Huni was no where to be found. But that particular red head wouldn't be Akiya's concern. Oh no, for atop the writing table was a little boy, in one hand he held a smaller Tome while he stared at the Angel with his bi-colored eyes.



The sounds of laughter made his ears shift and he looked around, wanting to pinpoint the source. Ah yes, the sounds of madness, something he was very, very familiar with. He had noticed that Huni was no longer present, but the swell of laughter had his full attention at the moment, as well as the lovely flashes. Beautiful. Startling in their intensity, true, but utterly beautiful.

As things settled and returned to normal, he smirked as he faced the boy before him. "Greetings, little one." He could already tell that this one was going to be a lot of fun to raise. "Let's see how far we can go together, hmm?" extending a hand, he took the book from the boy, scooping him up with his free arm, reading the title. "Jiro... ah a fitting name."

Huni yawned, stretching from the plush armchair, "That was a nice nap." she sighed, getting up from the chair. Nothing seemed amiss in the shop, although she had the strangest notion that something just happened. Automatically she eyed the Study, and sure enough once Akiya stepped out with Jiro her suspicions were confirmed.

"I don't know why I bother sometimes..." she sighed.

"Hmm? Ah, there you are, Huni. I had wondered where you had gone to." Jiro was studying her silently. He already knew that he liked the tall one. The redhead was left up to much more deliberation. But Akiya seemed rather pleased with Jiro and he bowed deeply to Huni. "Do you not wish for these things to happen?"

"It's not that I don't want these things to happen, but I'd like to be informed at least. That blasted room and book has a mind of their own, it's like they own me rather than the other way around." the red head sighed.

Linny came down the stairs, with Ning close behind him. "Mommy, mommy, can I go out to the Forge later?" he asked, and then paused when seeing Akiya and Jiro. "Oh, hi there." he smiled shyly, suddenly stopping mid-way the stairs.

"Ah well, sometimes... what one thinks is the reality is really the illusion. I know what that feels like, indeed I do. And it's not an easy thing to deal with. Feeling like no matter what you do, control is stolen from you... it's annoying too." The look in his eyes showed he knew all about it, but he smiled to cover up the fact he was slipping. Talking about his past was a sore spot with him.

Another one... Bi colored eyes shifted over to the newest one heading down the steps. Or, well had been, he should say. He was like him. He came from the Tome. It was something he could just smell. "Greetings..." His voice was heavy with a strange accent, but he said no more than that. He would have much to learn about this new place.

"Hello there, Linny. It's nice to finally get to meet you." He bowed before him. "I have heard about you though."

"Well, it's not like I'm obsessive-compulsive about this... And sure honey, you can go to the Forge, you've been such a good helper." Huni smiled fondly at the boy. She was impressed at the level of responsibility the boy could handle, he did far better than she would have done at his age.

Linneas beamed at his mother's response, "Thanks mommy."

It was when Akiya spoke that the boy crimsoned, "Um, hello mister. If I may ask, where'd you hear from me?" he was nervous about what the angel knew about him. It was not so much as a guilty conscience inasmuch as it was second nature to worry.

"Ah I see. Lucky you then." Chuckling, he shifted Jiro so that he was more comfortable on his arm before looking back at Linny again. "I would tell you, if I had more time. But Hanai has been a good little stalker, I think and he’s been telling me what kind of person you are. He was the one who spoke to me about you. Hopefully you'll get to meet him soon enough. Please excuse us, but we need to head home now..." Bowing to them both, he headed outside, Jiro watching them carefully as the bell announced their departure.

The two red heads that remained in the shop quirked their brows at the mention of "stalker" and instinctively eyed their surroundings. "Hope to see you soon." Huni called out to Akiya, "Well Linny, if you want to get to the Forge, you'd better get a move on." she smiled to the boy.

"Yes mommy, oh and mommy?" Linneas began, intent on telling his mother what he recently found in the Study.

"Yes, sweetie?"

"N-nevermind..." he couldn't do it, perhaps next time he'd work the guts to tell his mother about the strange creatures that popped out of the miniature books.
