Has anyone gotten married yet in HM DS? I know many might not have yet, and you're probably all thinking i'm crazy, but if you're crazy enough about harvest moon.. then yeah... I think you get my point.
anyway.. It's really hard to me. I started giving Nami grape juice in spring, then switched to wild grapes in the summer, and I'm like on summer 17, and her heart still hasn't gone up!! Help if you can!

The hearts change every 10000 points. It's easier to tell if you have the Love Bangle from the Harvest Casino. Since Nami gets 500 points for the grape things, keep working at it and you'll bring her up eventually. (Unless you're tossing stuff outside of your farm.)
I'm still undecided on who I want to marry, since I'm only used to the girls in Mineral Town (Elli, Popuri, Karen, Ann, and Mary - they're all the same girls in the classic SNES BokuMono, the GB versions, and Save the Homeland, which is all I've played), so I'm being the penultimate player and wooing all 5 at once. wink
Maybe I'll go for Lumina, though. If only because I don't like Rock. I like all the other bachelors (though Gustav only barely), Rock just annoys me.

You're probably tossing stuff on the ground outside your farm (weeds?). I had the same problem too, nobody would like me even after 3 seasons of gift giving. gonk Their friend/affection points go down everytime you litter.
I hate Rock AND Lumina! They both look like they're 12. gonk
On that note, wtf is up with the bacholors in the girl version of this game?
My interpretation:
Rock: Will leave you for another girl because he's always hitting on EVERYONE. Plus you'll have to commit adultry to marry him in the first place.
Marlin: This guy is so angsty and moody, he'll probably beat you.
Gustafa: I'm so sure that he'll just sit around the Yurt tripping on acid and neglect your child. rofl
And the other 2 guys are so old!
You can totally tell that men designed this game. xd

I've married Lettuce/Leia on my cousin's untranslated game. T'was lovable. But, if I ever get the translated version, I think I'll marry uh, the Witch Princess?/Harvest Witch. Strange how the Harvest Witch's general appearance reminds me of Hermione from Harry Potter. ^ ^"

Just to ask you all [I will be posting a seperate topic as well..] have any of you activated the WP Purple Heart Event? Nobody on Ushi no Tane can seem to get it to work, and I don't want to woo the witch if its not even possible to do in the English version. eek

Just to let you know (if you don't already) Nami might like grapes but she dislikes grape jam if you were giving her that. Like they said, if you have been dropping items on the ground, the friend/affection points go down.

I got it now. She's at a red heart, but I still can't get married because I only have 48 harvest sprites. it sucks that you have to have 60 to get married. xp And isn't the girl version on in Japanese??

Edit: I've got Lumina at the orange heart level. heart

It was about counting animals you have killed. They aren't counted in the translations. But you don't need to kill animals to get the Harvest Goddess. Plus, I think you can still BF her in the girl version, and you would get a baby, even without a husband, and with a BF, who is one of the special wifes in the male version.
