Your Choices!
Normally, we would have a nice vote-off that would last a a week as to pick ONE contest of the month, but we didn't have enough member feedback to come up with that. That way you'd get the gold, we'd get the information we needed...everyone was happy.
As sad as that may be in those respects, we got just enough feedback for a handfull of picks and, well, we might as well have a month full of contests for everybody.
Banner Me (10.2 -- 10.16)
This one is for the more visually oriented members. As you have noticed, we don't have a banner in place yet and that is because, neither Esrev or myself have gotten around to it yet. In the end we decided it would be more fun to see what you all had to come up with. So here goes.
1. Banners must be maximum of 500w X 150h pixels.
2. Guild name must be clearly visible.
3. Images used must be ToC safe -- i.e. no frontal nudity, blah blah.
4. I would rather images be original; however,
if you are borrowing an image (from a movie or anime), please make
sure the copy right is readily available somewhere. (Ex. Angelina Jolie
as Tombraider picture should have a (c) Warner Bros. 2001
somewhere in there, etc.)
Scarefest ( 10.16 -- 10.30)
Users have been demanding that we offer a different sort of role play for the lot of you* and others simply want a place to vent short stories in a different setting other than the Four Paths Universe.
Here you go:
1. The story must be eerie. It is Halloween after all. Use your imagination, it doesnt' necessary have to involve scary ghouls and witches, but can very much deal with giant dinasours with creepy songs out to steal your soul (I hate Barney).
2. It MUST take place in the month of October, preferably on the 31st.
3. 700 word minimum, 2000 words max -- updated : some users thought the 1000 maximum was too short. biggrin --
4. It can take place anywhere: the attic, a bathroom, Gaia, your own neighborhood, France .. it doesn't matter.
4. It can take place any time such as: 1999, 2006, 250 BC, 1 AD. As long as it sticks to rule 3 its okay.
5. Contents must be ToC Friendly.
Costume Contest (10.30 -- 10.31)
Contest only lasts two days, so start thinking about what you want your avatar to dress up as. Be creative as you want, show us what you're made of!
1. Images must be no bigger than 250 X 250
3. For all fairness sake, use this : www.tektek.org
4. Have fun!
* The Misc RP Forum is free for all of you to use. You can start your sci-fi or vampire RP there.

The Rules
1. The contests are open for everyone to join (except for Esrev and Myself. Moh).
2. There is an entery fee of 100g for Banner Me and Scarefest.*
3. All contests will be judged by the public via voting.
4. All entries must be turned in by midnight, the day before the contest ends. * Winners get the collective amount; we'll match, gold for gold, the amount that has been collected. For example, if six people join the contest, that'd be 600g plus 600g from the guild. The total prize would be 1200 gold. Quote: Mail to: 21st Cherry Boy Subject: Entree Fee Contest --Banner you can change that 'banner' to 'scarefest' too.
