Aryn sighed softly and sat down in the louge area of the bar. He felt so ridiculous that he'd come hear tonight. A friend of his who ran this, bar, inn, and restraunt and offered him to come. Naturally Aryn hadnt refused but now found himself alone and now sitting my himself. He watched the room and finally found a comfortable spot to lean his back against. Silently the werefox wondered what to do next. He made sure to hide his right side of his face, the scaring was bad on his cheek and against his eye. It tended to scare people.

James silently trodded into the bar slightly fearing the type of people he might meet inside. He was technically on an errand though he didnt actually have to be back anytime soon. Still, he wasnt interested in staying in the place for longer than he had too, he knew himself when it came to liquor. Peeking inside he saw hardly anyone there and felt realived all of a sudden. He wandered near a bar stool and took a seat, letting out a small sigh as he sat.

His ears twitched at the sound of the new comers sigh. The fox stood up slowly, he reconized him.. It took him a moment but he reailsed from the event thread eailer. He was tentivive in his footing, the fox still had a hard time with social settings. Aryn was always with either Faolan or Fayt..But those two had becoem close enough he felt like he was a heel.
He walked over to the squrriel and sat down on the stool as well. Making sure to sit so he wouldnt be in direct line of his bad eye that he had difficulty seeing out of. "H..hello." he stammered slightly. He was still trying to work on his stutter.

James jumped hearing the person greet him, he wasnt expecting anyone to take notice of him. Looking up he noticed who it was, someone he had seen from a small event he had been in not long ago. Swishing his tail back and forth he nodded his head slightly. "Hello ... Fancy meeting you here of all places. Not sure I got your name .. but I definitally remember you."

Aryn shifted his gaze to look at James and noded softly. "I..It's Aryn, I remember you too." In his mind he winced imagining the other anthro teasing him for his stutter. But he inclind his head in a greeting all the same. He was suprised the other had even spoken to him in all honest. Most exnored the werefox.. And those that did, he didnt get the same feeling from this squirrel so was ok enough to speak with him.

The Squirrel continued swishing his tail about. "Nice that im remembered. My name is James in case you were wondering." Avoiding the urge of the liquor around was beginning to be a bother so he decided to give up and stole a glass from behind the counter and started filling it. He looked at Aryn critically and cocked his head to the side. "You seem worried. Are you ok? I would hate for anything to happen to you."

He noded to his name "Thank y.you, I was woundering actually." He watched him pour himself a glass, he wasnt apposed to drinking on any ones part. While he'd seen the negative effects of it, and been under it's infulence plenty of times. "I..I'm not nessicaryly worried. I just am.." he paused on what he wanted to say. "Not use to being out I suppose." The fox settled for that. His blue eye that was visible glanced at an empty glass musing over the idea if he wanted to drink or not.

"Im not used to being out either I suppose. The company I am usually with prohibits that usually, not that I mind at all. They are actually quite amusing at times come to think of it. Besides, as of yet they are the... only people to actually accept me I giess. " He smiled weakly when he noticed Aryn glancing at his glass. "Would you like some? I dont mind paying if thats the problem." He scooted his stool a little closer to the table.

Aryn closed his eyes and as admitedly shocked. "T..thank you, I will have to pay you back." he said softly feeling bad. What little money he'd had, had been spent on getting him something to eat hours ago. Fayt would have given him more but Aryn had been trying to be nice.
He considered what James said "I..I normally have 2 friends with me... But there involved now. I..feel like a heel I guess." He shook his head slightly, and unconciously went to touch the rigth side of his face unsure why.

James smiled again. "If your friends are happy then shouldnt you be? I know how it feels to be left out I guess, I always know they will be there though." He finally stopped swishing his tail and started pouring a glass for Aryn. "Its a good thing the bartender here trusts me I guess .. heh.. or does that mean I have been here far too much? Dont worry about paying me back btw, it really isnt much ..." He noticed Aryn touch his face and wondered to himself why he wanted to keep it hidden. Its not like he couldnt notice that Aryn hadnt moved his head at all ... he figured if he was supposed to know then he would be told.

Aryn finally turned to face James, if he saw the edges of the scars so be it.
"I'm very happy for them, I just..Don't want to get in there way. I will always be happy for them.. I..I know their there for me, but.." he sighed and droped his gaze to watch the glass being poured.
"Chaka.. I know him. He tends bartend...And owns the place." He accepted the glass thankfully and downed it fairly easily. Aryn noded his apprecation, smiling being something that was rare for him. "Than.thank you then."

I afraid I give your friend more business than I would like to then, he tends to like me coming here." James glanced at the scars on the side of Arya's face, wondering how painfull it must have been getting them. Figuring that the scars were the reason he wasnt moving earlier he kept his words to himself. He finished his glass then poured himself another one, sipping at the suds on the top first.

Aryn side ways glanced toword the tall wereleapord who was speaking with an employe about the nights entertainment he noded "M..Maybe, but Chaka..He is overall very friendly." His tail flicked ever so slightly, he noted that James was polite in not asking. He'd recieved the scars from a violent ex. One he spent servitude to for most of his life.
"You can ask." he said softly. To james, he could accept him asking. As to why he wasnt sure. Even if the Squrriel may politely say it was fine he still felt it ok to tell him he could ask.

James randomly stretched then went back to sipping from his glass. "I dont feel a need to ask ... I dont mind listening if thats what your looking for." He smiled again closing his eyes this time. He noticed the owner off to the side and wondered what was in store for the night. He was trying to avoid the conversation steering to his own past
