Spam threads. No joke, people... I just looked over the crew activity log, and holy s**t. We delete so many spam threads that it's not funny. It's getting to rediculous point.
Any ideas on how to fix this problem? Becuase obviously our permission rule isn't working. And I mean... NOT working.
Members who have ventured in here, we could use your input too.

This may be harsh but temporarily stop spammers from being able to post for a while so then they learn? Not heaps long either. Just a slap-on-the-hand kinda thing so they know you guys have authoritah and aren't afraid to enforce it.
Then again it depends if it's a million different people all doing it too. =/

It's all different people for the most part... and nothing's temporary. Either you ban them, or they stay. I WISH you could suspend them....

I guess bann the people that do it the most, and give other people warnings if they do make spam.
Maybe give every single member a 3 strike warning, and what ever they do wrong give them a warning. If they continue it 2 more times, it's a bann.

You can seperate the Srikes in groups.
Violation One - First Warning
'Explain what they did wrong, and explain to the person if you do something like it again, that they have one more warning, and there out. And try to explain why it was wrong.'
Violation Two - Second Warning
'Explain about the same thing you did in the first warning, and say you're giving them one more chance to make up their mistake.'
Violation Three - Third Warning
'Bann them, and explain why.'
[Make sure to keep track of the users, and their Violations, and their warnings. I know this isn't going to be an easy job.]
Also, if someone does something you know was plain stupid, and you know that knew that they weren't suppose to do that, intant bann.

Some of the spam makes me chuckle sometimes...but then I get angery and delete them lol
But your right mel...how bout we violently throw coconuts at them everytime they spam! MUAAHAHA
