Searching for it…
It’s warmth…
It’s tenderness…
It’s love…
Love…
I’m searching for that too…
But love is harder to find then the light…
So much harder…
Why does it have to be so hard?
Darkness…
It comes after the light…
It’s cold…
It’s lonely…
Yet…
At the same time it’s comforting…
It keeps me hidden…
It keeps me safe…
Rain…
As clod as the night…
With its icy touch that cuts like a knife…
As warm as the light…
With gentle touches that’s as soft as silk…
Falling…
Falling from the sky…
Like the tears I cry…
The tears I cry as I search…
As I search for the light…
