A faint lovely smell waltzed through the hallways of the temple. Bianca cooed to herself, her black-rimmed eyes looking about eagerly. Light breezes danced through the doorway that stood over her, causing her baby fur to go every which way, making her shiver. The wind, however, continued to soothe her by bringing the delicious smell back into her life.
The small black and white female tip-toed down the nearest pathway, her small tail wagging furiously. Still a baby, she was quite clumsy, but her feathered wings offered her an extra balance. Her eyes were sharp and keen for such a small child, and she seemed to have a slightly mysterious air about her.
Rows of plantlife; shrubs, moss, flowers, etc... lined the walls of the hallway as she continued to walk. She lifted her stunted muzzle into the air and sniffed loudly. A sneeze erupted from her, causing her to fall back. Bianca squeeked and jumped back up, her feathers slightly ruffled.
The little girl blinked and stared at the mound of brown before her. It was halfway buried in the moss and it cast no special shadow, so it couldn't have been a stone. Bianca stepped forward every so gently and pressed her nose up against the brown thing's upper side. She gave out a small cry, shocked to find it warm... and breathing.

Odyss had been sleeping peacfully, dreaming of distant places, and strange creatures and cultures, when a loud yell work him from his dreams.
lifting his head up with a start, he blinked his eyes sleepily, the sudden light makeing it really hard to see, what he noticed at first was something that seemed to be glowing, he stared at it, blinking the sleep from his eyes, and watched as the glowing lump formed itsself into a young Malu, pure white but with black patches over her eyes and featherd wings folded on her back.
she was young like him, but he had noticed that he had grown over the weeks, and it was not so hard to walk anymore. she was definetly smaller then he was.
he yauned wide licking his lips a couple of times before he cruled his legs underneath him sitting up and saying to her in a curious greeting "Hello"

Bianca stared forward, her shining eyes reflecting the other's curiosity. She tilted her head slightly, but said nothing in reply. Instead, she studied his features, letting his complete appearance sink into her mind. She had noticed a few days ago that her memory wasn't as adept as she wished it was. Perhaps it was because of her age, or maybe it was a flaw in her mind. Either way, she needed to exercise her capabilities.
"Hi," she said finally, her voice small and weak. Bianca was naturally timid, despite her overwhelming curiosity. She was a walking contradiction; very shy, but with the need to know -everything-. The small female tucked her tail close to her body, wondering if the other Malu was angry with her for waking him.

he had expected her to say more... seeing as she did wake him up, lowering his eyelids a little out of tiredness, ears drooping off to the side, he yawned again and got to his feet, stumbling over to sit closer to her.
"I awake now" he told her matter of factly "why did you wake me up?"
he souned rather interested to hear her response, usually a new Malu meant a new adventure, maybe she wanted an adventure?

Bianca's soft nose twitched as he neared her and her eyes narrowed with slight suspicion. But as the young male sat beside her, the fear melted away from her instantly. For some reason, she felt like nothing in the world was the matter... all her worry dissipated. She let out a soft sigh from her tiny chest and leaned over to rest her head on the older youth's shoulder, still holding back from giving a reply.

he was in the middle of yawning again when he felt her put her head on his shoulder. he blinked at her, suddenly very awake, why was she doing that?
"are you tired?" he asked
leaning away very slightly not exactly sure how to react to this, were all girls this strange?

For an instant Bianca forgot why she was there, or who she was dealing with. Her tiny hackles raised in defense and she backed away slightly, but once her eyes me his, the memories flooded back into her. She recognized his markings, especially the light patch on his muzzle.
"Not twired," she said softly, looking away with embarrassment. There went her memory again... was it ever going to stay stable? She turned back toward him and smiled slightly. "Flowers," she said suddenly, looking past him down the hallway. A glinting light shone through a single window, dancing over the gloriously colored flowers in the shrine.

Odyss lowered his eyelids again, turning his head up slightly and looking down at her suspiciously. All girls must be crazy, although he didn't understand why, they looked like any other Malu he knew, just acted so different.
"hummm"
raising his brow he looked down the hall as she mentioned flowers.
"Oh, dats Vivaldi's roses."
he looked around remembering the rose Vivaldi and Enoa had given him.
trotting over to where his bed was, he lowered his head and picked up the rose that had fallen from his head
"like dis. itza red rose" his voice was slightly muffled as he tryed to keep the thorns from pricking his lips, but unlike Vivaldi, he was not skilled in evading them. he felt a hot stinging on his mouth and immediately droped the flower onto the ground
"OW" staggering back and falling into a sitting position, he could taste a strange metallic and all around unpleasent flavor in his mouth, leaking from the cut inside him mouth. whimpering for a moment, he turned his face up and started crying.
"WAAAHHH!!"

With a perplexed expression upon her face, Bianca came forward slowly and watched Odyss cry. "Water...?" she queried curiously. She leaned in toward him, balancing on her four white feet. Her nose quivered slightly as she sniffed his face. Opening her mouth slightly, she began to lick the water than ran from his eyes. "Leak..." she mumbled, licking her lips because of the salt. "Sting water."

all he could concentrate on was the pain on his mouth, until he felt something warm and soft gently cleaning the tears off is his cheek. sniffing and blinking the tears out of his eyes, his vision blurry, he saw the little white Malu.
"I cry" he sniffled, lowering his head and wiping the tears from his eyes,
he pouted his lip out it still stung.
"roses hurt"

Bianca tilted her head and imitated him as he pouted his lip a bit. "Roses hurt," she mimicked, wagging her tail. "Roses hurt." She paused, contemplating that idea for a moment. How could something so beautiful be so painful? She looked down at the fallen rose that obviously belonged to the male Malu.
"Roses ebol?" she asked him, pressing her nose against its petals. She inhaled and melted at its lovely scent. "Ebol smell good," she confirmed. She picked up the rose gently with her mouth and held it in-between her puppy teeth just to make sure the thorns didn't catch her gums.
Bianca looked up at the slightly older Malu and lifted the rose up toward Odyss's face. "Yoof," she said, meaning that the rose was for him.

"ebol?" he tilted his head to the side slightly perking one ear forward. "whats Ebol?" he asked.
he had never heard that word before, nor understood what it meant.
he watched as she picked the rose up and moved it toward him. he flatened his ears back, lowering his head defensively, pouting slightly, and shaking his head quickly
"don't wan it" he pouted again.

She frowned and decided not to answer his first question; it was silly. "Yuus, yoo do," she negated sharply. She jumped up and pressed her front paws on his shoulder. "Roz, roz," she said, trying to speak properly with the flower between her teeth.
Bianca pressed the glowing petals against his nose, reminding him of the smell. Unfortunately, by doing that the stem slipped into her mouth and cut her gum. She dropped the flower immediately and sniffed as the pain sunk in. The taste of blood in her mouth didn't bother her, but the stinging cut mixed with the leftover salt from Odyss's tears caused her great pain. A single tear crawled its way out of her left black-rimmed eye and dripped down the side of her face.

he jumped up when he saw she got cut as well, "aww," he cooed, troting over grabing the rose pettles in his mouth he quickly ran over to the closest window, tossing it out.
"there!" he said, "all go-" turning around, but a little to quickly, causing himself to get tangled up in his own legs and tumble to the ground.
he sat up and blinked looking at the ground "oops"
he looked around the hall, it was getting boreing seeing the same aria for to long. he turned his attention to the white Malu "you cry all gone?"

"Water done," she confirmed, then went back to pure silence. The small, white Malu gazed down the hallway, enchanted by the filtered light that peered into the room full of a multiplicity of colours. Her heart danced at the soft shadows that were cast by the pebbles and stones in the room; it seemed like such a happy room.
Her baby-coloured eyes once again came upon the brown male, with his lightly colored nose. He was a good deal larger than her, but still a baby to say the least. She could tell he was ready to grow up, aside from his crying spell. Males were strange, she decided, and shrugged to herself. Whatever.
Bianca unfolded her black-stripped wings and stood on all fours. Wrinkling her nose, she sneezed lightly, then decided to move on. Despite her curiosity toward the room of roses, her mind decided that the sunlight pressing against the temple walls was more exciting. The shadow-lit areas called to her from the outside, so she began trotting down the hallway toward the exit.
