So I am just about 4 months pregnant, and I have an apppointment with an ob/gyn again next week to get 1 more exam before my first ultrasound.
I have gotten a touch of a cold recently and have had the sniffles, sneezing, and a runny nose. I have never gotten alergies so I am pretty sure thats not it.
But the last, like 3 days, when I am laying in bed,
(I lay on my sides usualy with my legs up, becasue that position is the most confortable right now, curled into a ball or almost in a fetal position)
I will sneeze and it will hurt.
It will be a sharp pain in my stomach, just under my belly button, about a finger length away. It is very painful, I am okay with pain, but I am worried something may be wrong.
I have not bled any, or even spotted. No cramps or any other things that I have heard mean a miscarage.
My appointment is next friday, should I ask for an emergency appointment?
this is my first pregnancy and I have not heard of this happening to any one else.
Any ideas as to what this may be? Should I rush or is it okay to wait till next friday?
Any help is very appreciated!

I never had that during mine yet, so I cant say that I feel your pain, but I doubt you are having a misscarraige, but yes if I were you I would go in earlier and do an emergency appointmen, just to make sure. And yes, since this is your first, I suggest going ASAP. Did you ever stretch the wrong way recently? Like I know I have done that, but the pain soon went away. But just to be sure, go see the doctor ASAP

I agree you should go to the doctor but before you do that call your docter and ask them about it because they may tell you to go to the emergency room. With things like that they usually like to have you under observation for at least an hour on a fetal moniter.

You might be experiencing round ligament pain. My wife gets it alot when laying down. It usually happens around period switching from activity<-->inactivity.

That's what I was thinking too. Everyone I know who's been pregnant had this, myself included, and it hurts REALLY badly. All I could do was call my OB, and sleep 4 hours until they called me back... just to tell me the pain was normal.

But still, just call your OB, and see what they say.

I think you should get it checked out just incase, it could just be a pulled muscle from sneazing though.
