He can't float anymore, nor can he walk. But he do enjoy the atention of being carried around all day long, although his expression do not show it. He lifted up a hand to shield them from the sun, before looking at his surroundings, wondering where his father was taking him.
He felt himself being lifted off Saniio's shoulders, and setled on his lap instead. They were beside a hole filled with water, seated on a wooden bench.
"Saga, this is a koi pond." Saniiro said softly, gesturing towards the pond, "The things swimming in it are fish..."
Saniiro then took out a piece of bread from his coat, and plucked off a small piece. He then flung it into the water, and help Saga do the same. The infant watched as the fishes all swim towards the food, almost waning to smile with slight amusement. He knew there can only be one 'winner' in this fight.

"Hot." Mereneth had said simply when they stepped out of the house, waving his hand at the blazing red ball in the sky and then making a small spark of fire appear in his hand.
Melody had put him into a simple stroller, deciding against carrying him all day. Giving a bemused smile, she looked down at the infant, "Yes, it's hot. Don't play with your power though." she gave a little frown to show that she disapproved.
She was still toying with the idea of binding his powers after he had happily burnt up things around him. Lost in her thoughts, she almost didn't notice when they had reached their destination, and she settled down on a bench. Letting her eyes sweep past the scenery carelessly, she spotted someone familiar. Squintint, she made the figure out to be...
"Saniiro!" the red-head broke out into smile,"Hey!" she waved at Fauste's brother...well half-brother anyway and the child with him.

Turning his attention from the infant on his lap to someone who had called him, Saniiro seemed to frown slightly at the woman. Something in his mind clicked, but he wasn't sure what. She looked vaugely familiar, and he was sure that he had seen her somewhere before.
Standing up and supporting Saga with an arm, he headed towards the female with Saga still plucking at the bread and throwing them to the fishes. This ended up with a trail of fish following them, as each step meant a small piece of food from Saga.
"Pardon me, but have we met before?"

"Is your memory like a sieve?" she joked, standing up as he came nearer. Mereneth's attention was drawn to the fish in the pond, gurgling happily as he watched them snatch at the bread.
Or maybe it's me? There are a lot of white long-haired guys around Gaia after all... Melody winced at the thought, a little amused. It wasn't as if she did see Saniiro a lot, though she did remember Dragain. Oh well, she'd give it try.
"You're Fauste's half-brother, yes?" she quirked an eyebrow, wanting to make sure that she wasn't absent-minded.

"Ah, yes..." Saniiro answered, his frown lifting. He paid no attention to the joke, and his eyes wandered to the pieces of bread being thrown into the pond from his shoulder. Looking back at female, he offered her a polite smile, "Are you Miss Melody, by any chance?"
Saga looked at his hands. They were empty. The bread was gone. Looking at Saniiro with almost pleading eyes, he pointed to the pond then to his hands. With a nod, the dark haired infant opened his mouth, "Fish food."

At this, the redhead let out a relieved sigh. "Yup!" At least I know it isn't a case of mistaken identity... "How have you and Dragain been?" she tilted her head to one side as both hands still gripped the stroller's light handle.
The little pyro's eyes widened at the sight of another boy of his age and pulled himself forward for a closer look, "You...friend?"

"Dragain and I have been fine, thank you." Saniiro nodded, taking out another piece of bread from his coat pocket. He handed it over to Saga, who gave a delighted smile. Looking back at Melody, Saniiro stayed quiet for a moment.
"How have you been, Miss?" He finally asked, sitting down beside her and with Saga seated on his lap. "I do hope Fauste isn't causing too much trouble for you. He could be a handful sometimes, with his... Eccentric ideas at work."
Saga had plucked out a small piece of bread, and was about to throw it into the pond, when he was interrupted by a voice. Putting down the bread, he turned to see another boy. Blinking at him, Saga edged away a little as he replied softly, "Fire... Fire no friend."

Melody gave a slight nod, "That's good to know." Seeing Mereneth's interest in Saniiro's little boy, she leaned over to carry him out of the stroller and settled him into her lap.
"Oh well...it's not so bad once you get used to it," her face crinkled up in amusement as Saniiro mentioned Fauste's everlasting weird ideas. "He does seem rather...happy that Halloween is arriving though." she added, not that she was surprised at any of it.
"Fire?" Melody immediately jerked her head towards Mereneth and breathed a sigh of relief. Nope, he wasn't playing with his power. Yet. However, she didn't notice that the little boy had simply made it disappear when his guardian turned to him.
"No fire." The pyro assured the other boy. What was wrong with fire anyway? It wasn't so scary!

Saniiro felt a little uneasy for Saga at the mention of fire, although he didn't show it. Instead, he simply gave Melody a nod, "Even as a child, he had always loved Halloween. Father used to leave the decorations to him, although it did scare a lot of people... However, that was the reaction Fauste had been looking for, so he did it every year without fail, until father decided that he was having too much fun with scaring everyone."
Saniiro paused, looking away briefly before turning his attention back to the female, "It was hard to admit, but Fauste had matured a lot since his childhood days. And he appear to be aloof and unpleasant, but he is actually a good person."
Saga seemed to observe the other child for a moment, before finally giving him a light smile. He pointed it himself, "Saga. you?"

"Well then, it's lucky that he's not hosting the party," Melody replied, "I wouldn't like Krystals running around screaming too much, scared out of their wits."
Lapsing into thought, she began fingering the hem of the skirt, "I did tell him once that I believed that everyone had a good side..." she exhaled a breath of air. "Even him," she continued, "even though he found that hard to believe."
"Mere...yi..." the boy shook his head. His name was a little hard to pronounce. "Mere." he replied confidently, using his nickname.

"I think he would have loosen on the... Decorations, since it had been a party for the children." Saniiro replied, his golden eyes seemed to soften at the thought. "Fauste would never admit that he had a good side, and nobody had ever convinced him as well. It was decided that anyone who could make Fauste feel 'good' must be his best friend."
Saniiro gave a light laugh at this, "To say the truth, whenever he saw someone crying by a grave as a child, he would offer to bring the dead back to life for them." The man paused as his tone grew serious, "I suspect that it was linked to his past, as he lost his whole family when bandits had raided his village. If he hadn't been adopted, he would had been dead by now. My father had been against him learning Necromancy. It was said that most Necromancers have their life cut by half, since they were never powerful enough to control death, death will control them instead. Once you become a Necromancer, you can never cut that contract."
He stayed silent after his last sentence, and shook his head slowly, "Pardon me for speaking about such things. To think that I had been distracted enough to forget to ask! How have you and your family been doing, Miss Melody?"
Saga nodded, echoing the boy to see if he had gotten the name right, "Mere?" He offered Mere a hand, like how his father had done when he met people, "Ha-lo. Want feed fish?"
The boy held out the piece of bread with his other hand, tilting his head sightly to a side.

Melody gave a soft smile, rocking herself on her seat slowly, forwards and backwards. Somehow she found it soothing to her nerves. "Best friend?" she echoed, it was more of a question than a statement.
"Oh..." she fell silent at the mention at Fauste's past, "I never knew that before. He always kept mum about it. Perhaps that's why he's this way now," she shrugged. Exhaling a low breath, she said, "It's normal for parents to get worried. Though if he does love doing it, he won't have any regrets about his life then. Life, is afterall for you to enjoy. No one wants to look back and say, 'Oh, I regret not doing this, or not doing that, or whatever'."
"We're fine, thank you. Things can't be mundane with a girl who goes 'thou' and 'thy and a little pyro to add to the element of fire." At this, both her eyes focused on Mereneth, with a mischeivous twinkle.
Mereneth scrutinised the hand for a moment before grasping it as he had observed from Melody. "Feed fish...? Kool." the boy stated, releasing his hand and reached forward to tear off a small piece of the bread. Staring down at it, he threw it into the water like he had saw Saga done before. As the fish immediately swam up with flicks of their tail to get the food, Mereneth laughed and clapped in delight. "Fun!"

"Yes, from what I had found out from him, it was difficult for him to recognise anyone as a best friend." Saniiro mused out loud, looking at the pond before turning back to Melody. "I am sure he didn't regret anything he had done in the past nor the present... I believe it will be like this, as he progresses into the future."
His eyes narrowed slightly as he looked at the child with Melody, "Miss Melody, I have to warn you first that Saga isn't very fond of fire. Things happen to the fire source when he's near them. I hope this 'fire element' don't show, or I'm afraid harm will come to both sides."
Saga nodded happily, "Fun. Fish silly..." He turned to throw another piece of the bread into the pond, and watched as numerous fishes swam to grab it. He smiled slightly as he offered the bread to Mere again, "Mere want more?"

Melody pursed up his mouth, "Perhaps he'll find one soon. "Immediately the young lady looked down at her feet, fiddling slightly. The mention of best friends got a little touchy to her feelings.
"Oh..." she nodded, showing her understanding. Getting up from her seat, she squatted down to look at Mereneth in the eye. "No. Fire." She said firmly, "or else." She met his eyes with a piercing gaze.
"Very." Mereneth replied, giggling. "Tank Q..." he said, reaching out to take another piece just when his guardian bent down. "Hookay." he said reluctantly, sensing the 'no nonsense' voice.

Saniiro nodded, and offered her a slight smile in gratitude, "Thank you, Miss Melody... I had been pretty worried for both children's safety. I hope that, regardless of their elements, Saga and Mere can still get along. It would be terrible if they end up being enemies."
Saga nodded, not knowing how to reply. He flung another piece of bread into the water, before looking at Mere again, "You... Like fire?"
