I've listened for about two years. But I like any genre to some degree. Well, mostly any genre. Industrial is my favourite. What bands do you like?

I think I first got into industrial when I heard NIN on the radio... xp I started listening to them, and their influences, and influence's influences, etc.

If you want to put it my way, I've been listening to Noise since the embyonic stage because my dad is a welder. He welds at home, Noise. So I've been listening to noise longer than I've lived.

So I've been listening to noise longer than I've lived. You're cute. Now be realistic, maybe? Myself, it's a matter of perspective. Counting from NIN on(That is, pop-industrial)? 13 years. Counting from VNV(ebm/futurpop)? Something like 8 years. Counting Neubauten(beginnings of actual classic industrial fandom)? 7 years.

Just got started a year ago. For a while, I was a metal head; but I found myself more attracted to Rammsteins clever synthesis than to the discordant melodies of other bands. I progressively been easing myself to 'real' industrial and haven't looked back.

hm i've been listening too it for awhile. i remember when i saw mortal kombat and i got the soundtrack it had "juke-joint jezebel" by kmfdm and i really loved that song. man that was like...when i was 8 or 9...i dunno. i know i heard ministry on the radio back in the day and loved them too. then when i was 13 i got into orgy and nin and one of my older friends said i need to listen to skinny puppy, but i didnt get into them till i was 18 mainly because none of the stores around here sold any of their cds. so i had to wait till i had my own credit card and buy them online. so i dunno...i've been into industrial fully for bout 3 years. i guess...

I bought my first Einsturzende Neubauten album in either 1989 or 1990. It's been a long time.
