half domed room. The top of the dome seems to be cut off, with a large window that reminds you of an orange sliced down the middle, each section of the window a pane of crystalline, diamond coated glass. The light that falls into the room is reflected by the glistening white marble floor, flawless and smooth, illuminating the entire vicinity. The canvases are placed to the far back of this room, where the paints and brushes are, along with the sinks. Clay, stone and metals are to the left side of the room, near the hammers and chisels and such. Cloth and sewing are to the right side. Chairs and tables litter the outer fringes of this collossal circle.

There is another circle in the ground at the direct center of the room. It is about 25 feet wide, with steps leading down into the 13 feet deep level beneath the main platform of the studio. Down below, the space contains mysterious chambers with artifacts that are not only beautiful, but powerful. Don't touch them! They're not yours, after all... but if you look hard enough at the books and the pieces, you might beable to make something of your own, something of value beyond currencies because it is your own. Just try not to get lost... if you do, it is almost impossible to be found again without a tie of some sort to another person...

What will you make with these things then?

Orah curiously peered into a large door. She had the immediate thought of being in a giant glass snow globe-which, when you think about it, is stupid because there is an enormous skylight in the ceiling. So, really, the room looked like half of a pure crystal snow globe...without the snow...and it appeared to be a classroom.

Well, Orah had to start exploring somewhere, and, this place was kind of...pretty, so, why not here? Orah pricked her ears, flicked her tail, and slowly entered the room.

She soon found out that it was the art room, well, this made sense, seeing as there were a bunch of art supplies...and, well, weird looking artifacts. Orah went over to them, narrowed her eyes, and quickly looked away. She had a bad feeling when she looked at them...she couldn't put it in words. Fighting the urge to touch them and find out their secrets, she instead went over to the canvases-or, well, she tried to. Actually, she ended up walking into a wall without realizing it. She frowned and put a palm up to the glass, she decided that from the inside, the room was a giant...what was the term? fun house?

Orah shrugged and backed up, heading once again for the canvases.

Slipping in through a gap between the door and the wall left be the last careless person to enter this domain, tenza looked around herself with a small smile. If she could not find what she wanted in the library, then she may come here, to relieve her stress by creating. Then again, she may go to the Training Facility, and destroy....

AS she was looking around the room, she noticed one other person, with ears and a tail, trying to walk toward the canvas. A sensible idea, if she was a painter, but she kept being stopped just short of them by some sort of invisible...wall?! Now Tenza was intruiged. She had seen ({haha, see the joke?}) few invisible walls, and was interested in them, for she felt that if she understood them enough, that they would just turn out to be very advanced illusions. Or maybe just invisible walls.

Completely ignoring the artifacts that lined the shelves in the central depression, all her focus pinned on the transparent walls, Tenza instead walked slowly and quietly up behind the tailed-person. This wasn't so much as to make them jump, (although that would be fun!). It was mainly to get a closer look at these invisible walls.

Close to them, only a few feet away, Tenza stopped, and peered closer. Then she leant back, and looked up at the glass ceiling, seeing yet not seeing the clouds that floating behind the window. She let out an audiable isgh, full of disappointment and sadness. Just when she thought she would get a decent look at some well-made invisible walls...they turned out to be glass. Plain, old, transparent glass.

Spinning around, with another, this time more angry, sigh, Tenza slumped against a wall, leather wings all askew, almost, but not quite, sitting down.

Suddenly, her natural instinct for fun took over, and she smiled. Breathing in deep, she blew the breath out through her mouth, and turned her head, so it went all around the room. Whenever her breath thouched an invisible wall, or glass windows, it created a reflection of herself and the other girl, standing side by side, not touching, but not far apart. These illusions had eyes that seemed to follow you. And some of them did just that. Follow you. A few on the nearest walls turned to face the other girl and Tenza, as if awaiting further instructions. Her work done, Tenza slumped completely onto the floor, and started to breath normally.

Orah's ear's flicked again, but this time with the sound of hearing someone entering the room. She turned her head so she could get a view of this person-and Orah's brow raised in amazement. This girl's hair was short, so unlike hers or her clans, (the women would grow their hair long) and she had black eyes. Spread across her back was black wings.

Orah had seen many new people on her way to the art...place, but this girl surprised her the most, probably because she was seeing her up close. Orah actually never approached the other people, let alone been close enough to see their eye color.

Orah was about to say something, when the girl suddenly slumped against a wall, then she started spinning. Orah remained silent and watched the girl with a new interest. The girl started breathing heavy, and out of her breath came two images, one of herself, and one of Orah. At this, Orah fought back a gasp. Everywhere, Orah was looking at Orah; the girl was looking at the girl.

"In the name of the Fox G-d, how did you do that?" Orah asked the girl, but not taking her eyes off of the images.

Orah went up to the mirror type walls, ungloved a hand, and slowly touched the wall. She quickly drew back as if shocked. "Wow, someone was unhappy when they failed art." She said to herself, rubbing her hand on her shorts.

Elodie walked into the large room. "So this is the art room, eh? Very well, then..." she thought to herself, striding to the back of the room where the canvases were placed. Elodie selected a few brushes and paints and moved to a blank work space.

Dipping the brush in a cup of water, Elodie swirled the brush in a jar of blue paint. As she worked, one could begin to see a scene emerge. Snowy hills covered the canvas, flakes falling on the bare trees. A young woman rested against the base of a tree reading a book. A bird lifted into the clear skies, flying free.

Tenza laughed breathily, "I didn't fail Art. I passed my GCSE with flying colours!" Laughing again, she pushed herself up, using the invisible walls for support, "What do you think of them, then, hmm? I rarely get any feedback. Most people just run away," This was true. Tenza's joke illusions had never been received well, mainly because she snuck up behind people to perform them. Realizing she hadn't answered the person's question, she replied,"My abilities include being able to cast and create very realistic illusions. Illusions include reflections, even on invisible walls," Tenza paused to take in a deep breath. An illusion as big as the one she did took a fair amount of power, so naturally she was a bit knackered after performing such one, "So. Hi. My name's Tenza. What's your's and who is the Fox person you just spoke about?" Tenza offered her hand to this other person, who still had not yer taken her eyes off the images.

Eva slowly made her way to the large glass dome. The fact that is was in the school surpirsed and puzzled her. She opened the door and stepped inside.

Paintings and scuplers met her gray eyes. Vivid and gloomy colors came to her. It was specatular.

She wandered around wondering why there was a musuem in the school. She soom came across the supplies in the back of the room, along with another girl.

She placed her bow and arrows against the wall and set up a canvas and grabbed some paint and a brush.

She dipped the brush into some green paint and let her hands do the rest.

Her hand seem to just fly across the canvas, creating a stroke of green on the side. With another stroke, an image started to apper.

At first it didn't seem like anything. But soon it began to take shape, creating a forest, along with trees, flowers, animals and what was that in the middle? A house of some sort?

It wasn't until Eva was done that she realized what she had created. It was a close image to her village. The trees and house... it was where she had grown up. The same images that were engraved into her mind.

She took a step back and looked at what she had done.

Orah turned back to the girl with black eyes.

"Hello, my name's Orah." She replied, tkign the girl's hand and quickly shaking it. "I'm soy, I didn't mean you failed art, I meant someone else did. I heard them." Orah pointed to her ear and then to the wall she had touched.

"Your power is to create and cast illusions? That's...cool! I've never met anyone who could do that!" Orah looked back to the illusions, then returned her attention to Tenza. "My main power is fire manipulation, but I also have another, er, more unique power. I can hear voices from the past. It's actually quite annoying. Anyways, that' why I pulled back from the wall, because I heard a girl screaming...nd throughing things at people...and screaming some more." Orah looked back towards the wall and shook her head.

Orah looked around the room and saw yet another girl come in, and like the other one, she seemed to have no idea that anything was going on around her. Orah shrugged and sat down on the floor, crossing her legs and looking up to Tenza. "The 'fox person' I was talking about is the Great Fox G-d, creater of all of the fox demons and so on. Like Saten or the Pegan G-ds and such."

"Fair enough," Tenza also sat down, sliding down the invisible wall until she was sitting on the ground, "Hearing past voices, hmm? Like a Remembrancer, kind of?...I wonder why the girl was so stressed that she failed Art," This last bit was said almost too herself, "I wonder if she killed anyone. And that includes herself, by the way," Tenza looked up at the last sentence at Orah, and smiled, to try to show that she didn't really want anybody to be dead, on the whole, at least.

Relaxing her mind, the illusions disappeared, the invisibleness returning once more. There was silence for a minute "You really haven't seen an illusionist before?" Tenza said finally, slightly incredulous.

Orah shook her head. "I'd rather not know why that girl was so mad, to tell you the truth." She said this in a serious manner, then shook her head again.

"I can only do it if I'm touching the object or place with bare skin, which would exsplain why you'll usually never see me without gloves of some sort." Orah held up the hand that was still gloved and wiggled her fingers. "And no, I've never before seen an illusionist..." Orah watched as the images dissapeared. "I never really left the boundries of my clan's village. Not that I couldn't, I just never did..." Orah drifted off, loooking off into space. Then she was smiling at Tenza again.

"So, have you ever talked to a fox demon before?"
PostPosted: Sat Jan 06, 2007 3:59 am

"Not a fox demon, no. Other types of demons, yes, but not usually animal types," Tenza watched Orah's hand as she wiggled her fingers, "I somtimes wear gloves. But they are always fingerless. I find that if I wear a pair of full gloves, I can't feel enough through my fingers, so it seems as if I'm out of touch with this world," Crossing her legs underneath her, Tenza asked a question that ahd been bugging her, "I got a strange feeling when I was slumped on the ground, after casting those illusions. Do you know what the feeling was? I'll tell you whether you do or not. It was the feeling that you had never seen a person outside of your village, and possibly inside, close up before. Is that true?"

Orah was surprised at what Tenza asked."Um, yes and no." She said, staring at the girl intently.

"Yes, you are right. I think the only times before coming to Mirandal that I've seen people outside of my clan were merchents, but even then, I only went close enough to the to hear stories of the outside world. But no, my clan and I were very close, there were almost always no secerts from each other."

Orah studied Tenza for a bit longer, the swept her eys across the great room again. The first girl that had come in was now standing back to look at her painting, which Orah could see looked like a village.

Ben opened the door to the Art Studio((Correct me if I'm wrong))and took a few steps in while his eyes flew straight up to the ceiling, surprised by the domed ceiling and skylight. He gave a low whistle and turned his eyes to the people standing in the room with him, his whistle cutting off quickly and an apologetic smile popping up in its wake.

"Oh, sorry if I interrupted anything, I'm just wandering around. Seeing as I'm new." Ben turned his apologetic smile into a friendly one and let his yellow eyes wander around the room a bit more, intrigued by the smell of paints, lead, canvas, paper and ink around him. His tail flicked back and forth behind him and Ben's eyes went back to the group, smile still in place on his face.

Eva felt a pair of eyes on her. She turned to look around and saw another girl looking at her painting and smiled. She looked back at the painting itself. Not her worse, but not her best. She scanned through it, seeing if she had missed anything.

A whistle interupted her thoughts of anything missing. She turned to the boy who had walked in and returned the smile.

"No, it's ok." she said softly. She looked at his tail, slightly surprised to see it. She quickly returned her eyes to the boy's face.
