The night was deep, the moon but a finger nail of light in the sky as the stars glittered around it. The blue stallion, who's coat gleemed like the sky itself stood on the bluff, and reached his silver hooves out in an attempt to touch the sky.
His silver mane snaked around him, caressing his body as his hooves fell back to the earth. He sighed softly, although he still couldnt tear his eyes away from the stars. He was a child of the night.

 The sky, so beautful with the array of glittering stars that hung above.
How it would be to carry wings upon your back and reach out to a thousand lights that becon back to you. But, sometimes those are blessed with forms that glitter and shine in the escence of silver. So was the case of the regal tempered mare Crystalline. New and unaccustomed to this land tonight was her first exploration into the vast world. She figured that Star Catcher had wings, so of course had taken off to find her own way.
Raising her head to look at the stars the re came an image of someone not too far off. At first she wondered if her eyes were playing tricks on her. For another of her kind stood at the foot of her hill gazing at the starts as well. Shining in the hues of the twilight sky he glittered like the stars above with cascading locks of whilte long as her own.
Turning her head now she watched him, mezmerized at the dancing lights upon his body. Not like her own glitter but yet, a thousand stars.

 Virgo sighed softly and finally dropped his gaze from the sky, having watched a shooting star fall from the heavens. His mind wondered if maybe thats how he had come to these lands, it had often been told to him that he had fallen from the sky. Perhaps that star was another like him falling to the earth. Would the children of the sky one day return to it?
He pondered these thoughts as he turned to walk down the hillside, but as he turned he noticed the shimmering form of the mare. Her fur was a soft blue and glittered with diamonds. Differnt than his yet still as mesmerising. He tilted his head ever so gently to the side causing waves of crashing silver to slide over his shoulders. "Good evening." he said, his light tenor voice welcoming.

The night held such wonderments as the creatures came alive in their orchestra around the silken blue glitter mare. Long waves of white silver flowing around her in a timid breeze. He'd finally noticed her standing there as she had focused on his own dancing light coat.
As he spoke to her there was a faint startle in her balance, yet she managed to hold her expression quite lucratively to herself. Instead the mare known as crystalline dipped her head in his direction speaking even yet soft in reponse, "Good eve to you." she said with a generous smile lifting her head up once more. He was still a far bit off so she made it in her best interest to walk slowly with an even gait towards him holding herself high and beautiful as she made progress.
When at last she finally stood in his presence she stood there tall as a ceder tree yet limber and lithe as a delicate reed. Flowing silver white made up her mane as her blue coat shined like glitter. "The stars are quite beautiful are they not?" she queried in her soft voice. It seemed he too a child born without wings had come to mimic the stars just as she had.

Virgo nodded politely to the mare, nodding is head in a regal bow. The tendrils of his silver locks caught the wind and softly blew around his shimmering frame. The stars upon his fur seemed to shine with the same intensity of that above, he broke his gaze from her and looked up at the sky with a humble sigh.
"Yes they are...nights like this seem as if they are full of magic. I wonder....I wonder if nights like this if the spirits of the sky dont walk upon the earth..."

Companionship had always made one feel wanted in the world they traveled. Tonight was definitely an exception to meet another blessed with resemblance to the skies.
"But of course", she responded with a faint laughter that was refined yet elegant. Her eyes sparkled as her coat looking at the stars with him. First Soquili she'd found in the sea of glittering lights and yet he was almost like she was. Tossing her head once more she looked about wondering if a water source was possible in this area.
"Forgive my boldness in disturbing your happiness of the skies, but is there a place for drinking anywhere in this vicinity? she queried with a sweet yet even tone, "I've acquired a thirst in my wanderings and don't know this land yet. By chance do you think you could help me?"
She hated the intruding part of asking questions like the drop of a hat, but her throat was parched and demanded attention rather she desired it to or not.

Virgo's ears lightly twitched as he turned to look at her. Her question caught him off guard but he was more than happy to escort her to the water, whether that was what she had intended or not.
"Certainly, no trouble at all.... Its just beyond that bluff and near that standing grove of trees. A stream cuts through here and emptys into the lake a little farther off. Its run off from the mountains, so its the clearest smoothest, coolest water around. If that doesnt suit your parched throat I dont know what will." he said with a smile.
Flicking his tail sending the silver strands dancing over his downy blue fur he turned and started walking. "Follow me." he said, glancing over his shoulder. "I could rather use a drink myself, and I could certainly use the company."

Well wasn't this wonderful? She had an escourt that was handsome too. Shaking her head a moment her smiles departed with her thoughts.
With a nod she followed stepping lightly as if in a choreographed waltz.
Her shining irridecent hooves stepping neatly through the forming dew grasses of emerald.
"Id be delighted if you'd talk with me for a bit. Its quite q uite I've learned unless herds come and go. Seems these days no one has time to chance gaze up at the stars or smell the roses."
He certainly was a wonderful escort she had to admit that. Atleast he did have time to spend enjoying life as it announced itself in nature's wonders.

Virgo smiled as he looked over at her, his veil of silver lightly brushing across his face. With a light toss of his head he sent the silver locks flying over his shoulder like a spray of water against the night.
"I would be delighted to talk with you, I just fear a topic of converstation is in order." he said with a small chuckle. His silver hooves forever moving forward through the tall grass with a quiet grace and elegance. "How did you come to be in this place?" He asked her, quite curious.

She smiled letting her own silver locks cascade over her deepened blue shoulders. She pondered his words softly regarding a perfect response for what she would return with reason. Flicking her ears she took a breath that was nither deep nor shallow, "Recently of a moon's passing I would think I arrived here with a winged named Star Catcher from another land to the East of here. Adventure and strong will led away from what we cherished most," she nodded with a pretty smile that led to her eyes sparkling.
She wondered what would become of her time in this place. If settling down was the right move on the board, or returning back to the safe familiar territory of what she known since being a youth.
Trying to keep pace in converstation, for dullness could kill even the slightest muse, she asked the same of him as her hooves moved her along following after his every step. "And what of you handsome one that glitters like the night sky? What brought you here to this land as well?"

Virgo quietly listened to her responce. She came from a distant land far away from here, and he found that most fasinating. He hung onto her every word listening to every sylable that left her perfect lips. He smiled at her and nodded his head, a few silver strands falling in front of her eyes. "It must have been hard to leave all you knew behind you." he said softly. "I hope this place is good to you then."
He paused for a moment as she asked the same question of him. He had no grand story to tell, save for one that was scarcely believable at all. Still, he met her gaze with his warm smile as he began. "I have been told that I fell from the sky, on a night when the sky was only a breath away from the earth. When the stars fall from the sky like diamons to join the waves and glitter into sea foam. Dripping like rainfall down upon the land. I have no memory before that, or before this strange place... If I am truely a spirit of the sky I know that someday I'll return there. But for now I am here, and that is all that matters. Besides... Being in your presance makes me feel just as happy as looking at the stars all night long.."

She felt as if his words were magical when he spoke with her, that indeed perhaps a spirit he was. Comforting to be near him caused her fear of lonliness to simply melt away like a spring day taking away the last forgotten days of snow.
Her feet sunk into the ground in places since the last rainfall but she did not mind. Everything in this place was of facination and dare she say someone that might explore with her. Smells drifted through now and then with a hint of evil overture. Those called Kalona, the evil spirits formed of flesh dwelled in this land among other things. Since the fallen rain scents of hundreds of Soquili drifted toward her in a little cloud. Star Catcher's though seemed to vanish as soon as they parted ways.
"A part of the sky as a glistening star. Ah perhaps I fell from the sky myself." she mused with a positively dazzling smile yet well refined at the same time. Each time she took a step she felt the magick of the land. What was to be held as she experienced new things was yet to be written in her life story. But she knew full well the story would continue.

Virgo turned his gaze to look upon her and with a nod of his head he smiled at her. She was so full of wonder at this place, in this night. She had the awe of a child, and this amused him greatly and filled his heart with warmth. He was glad that he met her tonight, on this night when the sky was but a breath away from the earth upon which they stood.
He lead he quietly to the waters edge, the converstation having given way to the beautiful silence of the night. Though he hated to shatter the bliss of the evening he spoke once more, his light tenor voice was airry and full of mirth. "here you are lady, the coolest water you shall find in these lands."

She paused breathing in the sweet air that swirled with droplets of the water below. A never ending story unfolding of life and its many phases. Lowering her head she dipped her muzzle into the cool liquid lapping at it with much grace and elegance. Still the urge to let a simple contented sigh escaped from her with a happy smile. Her mane cascading like a river flowed as her head rose back up to meet gaze with his own two shining gems.
"Delicious. Why never in my lifetime have I had such good water as this. I thank you very kindly for showing me to this place. And so very nice to escort me even." she mused with a smile that made her eyes glisten.
So.. what else is there in this land? Forgive my giddiness but I am rather delighted in what I've seen and tasted so far."

The stallion who mirrored the night sky dipped his muzzle into the cold water, sending little ripples along the stream. The stars danced along the surface of the water as he lapped in its cool refreshment.
Bringing his head up again he sighed contently, letting his silver locks casscade down his back like a moonbeams turned into water crashing over the blue form of his body. He turned to smile at her and nodded his head. "Nothing to it M'lady. I was more than happy to show you to the best water around. "
He took a step towards her and looked off into the distance. He had been all over this land and still knew he hadnt seen it all. "There are many things... there is a beach not to far away where there are whispered of pale faced two leggers.. There is a village of two leggers as well, though they are the normal kind. There are the mountains as you see and the deep forests... lots of secrets to be found. "
