Actually, I didn't get accepted to join the Grammar Nazi Guild.
That's ridiculous.
My nickname actually is The Grammar Nazi.
Crazy overly literate people!
Actually, I'm probably better as far as spelling, grammar, capitalization and punctuation go... which is pretty far. ninja

I applied to the Grammar Nazis guild many moons ago.
In my application, I had corrected all seventeen grammatical errors found in their homepage at the time.
Needless to say, they turned me down without hesitation and I laughed heartily at their lousy anuses.
EDIT: I believe the word "a**s" pluralises to "anuses", not "ani". -If I am wrong in assuming this, I apologise sincerely.

We're not really grammar nazis here. We're more grammar pacifists. It's certainly alright to correct mistakes, but we like to be nice about it here. You know the old saying, "You'll get more flies with honey than with vinegar"? That's how we operate here. As for the plural of "a**s"... According to Dictionary.com, it is "anuses".

My general definition of a GN is someone who completely disembowels (Verbally) anyone who makes a spelling or grammatical mistake.

...They suck for denying my request. I think they're just idiots, personally... Thanks! I used to be a member before they shut down. The guild still exists, but everyone was banned from it. It doesn't actually operate anymore. I personally tend to totally disregard the grammar of others unless I truly cannot understand what they mean or they are literally asking about it.

It's okay. The pun made me giggle.
I think I like this guild better than I would've liked the Grammar Nazi Guild, anyway.
Besides, I've seen so-called literates make... mistakes, repeatedly, such as saying "you're" instead of "your." I wouldn't have been able to restrain myself from going a little more nazi-ish if I had been accepted and seen that in the guild...
I like the atmosphere of this guild. 'Tis less... uptight.
