Personality
Raine is rather like his father in the fact that, unless he's around someone he loves or admires, he chooses to keep his feelings hidden. This gives him an air of age that he does not quite possess and makes it hard for him to play with anyone his age, unless it's his sister Cassandra.
However, Raine has managed to befriend Dassan, which he managed by being the first baby Drake Dassan had ever seen. The two are fast friends and are always the nicest in each other's company. Raine sees Dassan as a friend, role model, and mentor, as he hasn't discovered Dassan's goals or real nature at the moment.
Weapon
Upon becoming a child, Dassan showed Raine what could be done with the Shadow powers. Having just become a child, Raine's powers were weak, so Dassan performed upon him a spell, tatooing his arm as a sign of its power. This spell magnifies his power by +5 automatically, without the purchase of any item, and is always with him.
Upon reaching adulthood, Dassan informed Raine of a second purpose of this sinister tatoo. Upon casting it on Raine, Dassan poured part of his soul into Raine. Raine will now become the next Death Dragon if and when Dassan passes, reguardless of anything he were to try and do.

Wow . . . I found this journal under Dassan's bed one time when he wasn't there, so I've decided to fill it in a bit.
Okay, well, let's start off here . . . my name is Raine, and my mum is Alex, and my dad's Draco. I have a sister named Cassandra, and a Kerash named Ocean. My mom's recently taken in an oblivion Drake that needs to have her pitchfork taken away. Her name's Rose. We're . . . an interesting family. I don't spend much time with my family . . . dad never teaches me anything cool but . . . Dassan does! He even made me stronger, which is really cool. I can make just about anything out of shadows now . . . it's awesome.
Yeah . . . Dassan. Everyone seems afraid of him . . . I dunno why, but they do. They all act like he'll kill them as soon as he has a chance. I've been up there dozens of times to see him, since I was a baby, and he's never once tried to hurt me. He hasn't hurt Rose either, which is surprising, seeing how she likes to poke him with her pitchfork . . . I don't see why they say he's all that bad . . . he's a nice guy, and will always take time to teach me anything I could ask him. He's even starting to teach me about dragons now. Wow, wouldn't it be awesome to see a dragon though? A real-life dragon? That would be so cool . . .
I don't think Dassan's tail likes me though . . . it always seems to scoff at me . . . oh well . . . Dassan likes me, so that's all that matters. I just wish people could see that he's not all that bad. He's a really nice guy! Oh well . . . if they wanna be stupid about things just because he has more of a tail than we do, they can be that way.

I am Dassan.
So it would seem. I am connected to his soul through this . . . tatoo. Part of Dassan's soul is inside of me. Maybe, then, it would be more appropriate to say that Dassan is me. Who cares.
I will become the next Death Dragon.
So says Dassan. I will not and cannot allow this. I would sooner kill myself . . . though the magic curse that is upon Dassan probably won't allow it. I must . . . find someone to kill me. If Dassan is to fall ill, or come dangerously close to loosing a match . . . I must be exterminated, and with me, the last of the serious threats to Drake kind. I . . . I carry evil. There is no way to encase it forever, so . . . the casement must die and thus kill the evil within . . .
