It's a Serif font, most likely Courier New.

It looks like a Serif font, however when testing it didn't look like Courier to me.

Fonts tend to look alike to me, except for the decorative ones.

Yea, they do.
I think that Courier New looks sort of similar to it. I think there's a site somewhere on this lovely thing we call the internet that can take an image and tell you what font it's using.
I'll try to find it now.

Dammit! I actually put Courier first and then edited my post to say Courier New. I should've just left it as it was. gonk
The lines are Japanese and say: "A sword is a weapon. Swordsmanship is a way to kill. Whatever nice words you use to describe it, killing is the truth behind it."
