Ahmadas smiled as he sauntered along - leading Jahala through the ways of the land, the noonday sun stretched out far above them, clouds dancing haphazardly across the sky and dotting the great blanket of the heavens with nature's very own mural.
"So, how did you like Syeira?" he asked with a little purr, glancing sideways to the pretty serval, his shadowy form slinking like a great dark cloud parallel to those that danced above him with the invisible stars.

"She was amazing!" She said looking over at him softly. "Your very fortunet to have her as a friend." She said looking back to the rode as she yawned a little as stopped. "My legs hurt can we take a small break?" She said soflty feeling a little bad since they had only just begun on moving again.

He grinned as he glanced back towards her, his brow quirking slowly, "well, I suppose I am. We looked out for one another when we were younger - she needed help defending herself against her brother, but that's a long story and one she may not be very fond of me telling."
He stopped at her question, nodding with a little smile as he sat down - stretching comfortably. "It's fine that we stop, you've been walking a long time, even if we did sleep last night."

She nodded softly as she took long deep breaths. "What are you going to do once we find me a home?" she asked softly as she looked at her feet and her occasional tail falp infront of her feet.

Ahamadas smiled with a little shrug, his tail flickering as he glanced up towards the sky. He really had been travelling quite a long time - maybe it was time for him to take a break? Maybe this was a sign that his journey may need a temporary end?
"Well, I suppose I might just stay here a while, with you. Maybe I can find you a place near my old den, or you could just stay there with me. I mean, really, I've been travelling since my early adulthood - maybe it's time to take a break, you know? Besides, I wouldn't want to leave you all alone in a new place." he smiled and glanced back to her, a soft purr lingering in his throat.

She smiled brightly as she blushed a little. "Yeah that be fun to have someone I know close. I won't feel so scared then." she said with a nod. "I won't fell like I can't survive." she said as she moved over to him and nuzzeled him. "Thank you so much Ahmadas."

Ahmadas chuckled softly as he heard her words, but the sudden nuzzle she issued upon him, that gentle brushing - well, had he not been such a darkly toned little serval, he perhaps would have given up a rather radiant blush. Thank heavens for dark fur, in his opinion. It took him some time to gather himself, but returned her nuzzle, kindly, and he couldn't help feeling a rather sudden jump in his stomach - like butterflies upon a hundred wings. Not something he could admit to readily being used to.
"Well I most certainly wouldn't abandon you here," he muttered, a smile upon his maw, "so, would you rather go to the river to see the stepping stones.. or would you like me to show you the way to my old den? Of course, assuming no little critter has moved in."

Jahala sat there close to him as she thought. This took awhile since she could never really make up her mind quickly, unless she was under major presure. She then nodded softly to herself it seemed. "Okay I want to go to both but i'd like to got to the stepping stone first." she said with a bright cheery smile.

Ahmadas let a gentle smile spread across his maw - he too thinking that the stepping stones were quite a bit more interesting. She knew how to pick the best things, and he didn't blame her for picking the most exciting one first.
"Alright, little weasel, you ready to go, or would you like to rest a bit more first?" he glanced to her, tail flickering to and fro in a rather idle manner.

"I'M READY!!" She sqeaked out smiling as she got on all fours running around him. As if trying to find the way to the stepping stones, but she was completely oblivous to the fact that she really did not know. She stopped and iggled softly as she looked at him nervously. "I forgot I don't know where it is."

He laughed at her antics as he began to make a slow trot towards the area he knew to hold the beautiful rushing waters, his tail flickering as he slinked along. He glanced to her with a smile plastered upon his maw, paws finding step after step in silence upon the ground. "You're such a silly thing precious, but it's a good thing I know where we're going," he said, sauntering on along.
"Keep up, though, weasel," he said as he crept along, a smile on his face as he stood straight and tall, walking along with pride in his footfalls.

She stopped abruptly as she scratched behind her ear. She then looked up and he was gone. "Ack!! Ahmadas!!" She yelled out as she took off running.

It was a few minutes before he even realized that he had left the pretty golden belle behind, walking along in his silence, figuring she had just gotten quiet for the moment. He should know better though, Jahala was never quiet just for the sake of it.
"Jahala?" he called, answering the echo of his name, turning slowly and bounding back in the direction he had last seen her - and the direction from which that yell of his name originated.
That's when he saw her, a golden glow amongst all the emerald grasses. He came up to her side, eyebrows narrowed, and the worried look in his eyes far from vanished. "Don't stop like that, Jahala," he muttered, leaning in to nuzzle her, "you worried me."

She sniffled as she sat there whimpering a little. "I'm sorry!!!" She exclaimed as she pounced him softly and pined him down using him as a pillow and a shoulder to cry on. "I didn't mean to I just had to stop one little secound then I looked up and you where gone!!"

Ahmadas smiled weakly at the way she reacted, sighing beneath his breath as he nuzzled her, his tail slowly curling around her own. "Don't worry over it, precious, it's not your fault," call him weak, but he just couldn't be mad at her - he had to give in, especially with the precious little way she reacted.
Ahmmy's just a big softy.
