{Kiyo}
Name: Kiyo Risu
Nicknames: Her name's already short...but sometimes people call her Ki-chan.

Species: Half-human and half-squirrel

Special Qualities: Has what might be two (or more) personalities. Is a black belt in American Freestyle Karate, but rarely flaunts her prowess, not many know that she is a trained martial artist.

Personality: Kiyo is about as neurotic as a squirrel. She acts very childish and loves to be babied, but this disguises a much deeper, complex person. She seems almost to have dual personalities, one bouncy and cheerful, the other serious and cold. It’s very rare for her to be cruel or even just a little mean, she represses her second personality whenever she’s around others. Kiyo has had a very difficult life and has felt a lot of pain; because of this she tries her hardest to avoid inflicting pain on others. Sometimes she ends up neglecting her own needs because of this, but she can’t override her intense protective instincts. She’s accepting of everyone and everything, mostly because she desperately wants other to accept her, although she tries to hide it. Kiyo is very friendly, but wary of letting others get too close to her, she’s constantly afraid of being emotionally wounded again.

Appearance: Fairly tall, athletic but not muscle-bound. Very curvy, “Barbie-doll” proportions, but she hides them under baggy, comfortable clothes. Prefers blues and greens, light and cheery colors.

Hair Color: Dark blond, fading to blend with chestnut fur.

Eye Color: Blue with ‘spider webs’ of silver criss-crossing through them.

Skin Color: Healthy pink, with just a hint of a tan.

Distinguishing Marks: Rather than human ears, Kiyo has large, tufted squirrel ears that are covered with chestnut brown fur. She also has a very large, fluffy, squirrel tail that’s also chestnut brown. Has claws instead of fingernails.

Likes: Tyga, Candy, Junkfood in general, Playing games, Outdoors, Sleep, Little children, Animals (especially squirrels XD), Thrills, Taking risks.
Dislikes: Unhappiness, Pain, Seeing others upset, Tofu, Fish, Strong scents.

{Tyga}
Name: Tyga Grenthor
Nicknames: Ty-ty, but only Kiyo is ever allowed to call her this without obtaining multiple contusions and lacerations.

Species: Half-human and half-hedgehog

Special Qualities: Her height belies her strength; she’s very powerful and doesn’t hesitate to start a fistfight in Kiyo’s defense. Has a mean left hook, but her straight punch can blast through a brick wall. Also likes to bite and stab opponents with whatever object is at hand.

Personality: Tyga is cold and callous to everyone but Kiyo. She is quick to temper and quicker to blows, especially when Kiyo is involved. Overprotective and sometimes overbearing, she hates it when others try to take advantage of Kiyo’s caring nature. Tyga also can’t stand people who can’t deal with their own problems and weaklings. Surprisingly, she is an impressive artist, but only share’s her works with Kiyo. She loves to dote on her partner, and acts very maternally towards her. She adores Kiyo and is extremely loyal, almost like a bodyguard.

Appearance: Very short, not as thin as Kiyo, a little thicker. Wears the same kind of clothes as Kiyo. Wears subdued earthy colors, also likes buckles and belts.

Hair Color: Dark brown, same as spikes.

Eye Color: Golden-brown.

Skin Color: Tan.

Distinguishing Marks: Has short spiky hair that leads into sharp hedgehog spikes going down her back in a wide stripe on top of her spine. Small fangs in place of her canine teeth.

Likes: Kiyo, Beating people up, Giving Kiyo gifts, Cooking, Healthy foods, Cleaning.
Dislikes: Seeing Kiyo unhappy or hurt, Messes, Anything deep-fat-fried, Alchohal, Pointless conversations, Being social in general, Annoying things.

{Kiyo}
Mother: Karen Risu, whereabouts unknown. Alcoholic, abandoned family when Kiyo was 16. While pregnant with Kiyo, she took all sorts of drugs, including several kinds known to cause birth defects. As a result, Kiyo's birth was...slightly odd...
Father: Derro Risu, deceased. Died when Kiyo was six. His father, Kiyo's grandfather, was Japanese; hence her Japanese style name and descent.

{Tyga}
Mother: Laura Grenthor, current residence unknown. The ultimate in workaholic, pushy perfectionist mothers, she definatly rubbs her daughter the wrong way. Extremely homophobic.
Father: Geoffry Grenthor, currently on tour in Finland. An artist and a dreamer, he and Tyga always found solace with one another. Avoids confrontation and always gives in to his wife Laura. He tours all around the world in connection with his art.
