We're always open for suggestions on something that you may think are a cool idea. Don't be afraid to suggest anything no matter how bad you might think your idea is. We're open to anything that you might want to bring to the table. By all means if you think your idea is good enough, make a thread about it. You can make a thread about whatever you'd like. Guidelines for a suggestion: Your suggestion. An explanation as to why we should do it. How it might benefit.

instead of having everyone post their issues in seperate topics, you should make different stickied topics for different problems. ex.
"The bf/gf help thread" "the suicide help thread"

I would prefer it if the 4 candidates for the open council seats were all voted on in one poll, and the top two results were the winners.

AraTeran I would prefer it if the 4 candidates for the open council seats were all voted on in one poll, and the top two results were the winners. That isn't a bad idea. I believe that it would be better to have all of them in one poll, take the winner and then have the remainer put into a second poll. That way everyone gets to vote for both seats.

As cute as that idea is, I'm fairly sureyou're proposing it because I'm the only person running for seat 2, and you're trying to stunt my chance of overall victory.
It is a good idea for next time, but I don't think it would be fair to me to change the rules in the middle of the game.

Soleq and I have discussed it and we shall see what his decision is. It seems silly to have 4 candidates in one seat and only one in the other but since that is the way it has work out we shall see what happens.

Chalda Soleq and I have discussed it and we shall see what his decision is. It seems silly to have 4 candidates in one seat and only one in the other but since that is the way it has work out we shall see what happens. No one ran for the other seat except me. Everyone was able to run for either seat. You could have run against me. The other person could have run against me. I was the only one who cared enough to do so. To randomly change the rules of an election is bad politics, plain and simple. It's kind of like the Supreme Court electing the president.

I simply see no purpose to having it set up in that way. However, I do agree that it is unfair to change the rules in the middle of the election, so I merely suggest that for the future elections the rules be altered to prevent people from running unopposed.

And I fully support that proposition. biggrin

Sir_Cathl_Peabody The truth is that no one has balls to run against Sipid. Pretty much. And if I had my choice of who I'd want to be on the guild's council with, it would -probably- be Sipid. And at the time no one was running for seat one, so I said "Why not? You're probably going to lose anways."

Sir_Cathl_Peabody The truth is that no one has balls to run against Sipid. Actually, it was just stupidity on my part. For some reason at the time I thought there were the two people running for seat one and seat two, it wasn't until later that I realized that there was only one running for seat two.

If anyone has mules in this guild, they could influence the polls on the election.... Dunno. I'm just whining about nothing. We had some sort of contest in Escape at one point and all the votes had to be PMed to Veit. No one cared enough to vote. Haha. Rather sad.
