i'm having my quince soon and of course i'm going to dance to salsa's and merengues and all that stuff .(sp?) And i was wondering do other goths and alike still dance to it? Or does it depend on the person?

why not, i did...i had to have a sweet sixteen instead of a quince but i still danced to that stuff 3nodding , but it does probable depend on the person because for me no matter what i consider myself, i still like to follow the little tradition my family has biggrin

I didn't get to have a quince or a sweet sixteen. I'm thinking of going on a horror-movie spree for my seventeen, when my parents won't be able to say I can't watch them! (Actually, I'll probably still have to hide them...) But I do love all music, and dancing to it, except rap and hiphop.

As a Puerto Rican, I consider latin culture and music as a part of me. So whenever I hear any of the good music... People get a bit confused to see a big scrawny kid in all black dancing to salsa and merengue and other such beats!

but yea i sometimes dance to salsa and meregue...etc.
but i hope my 17th bday will be better and i actually throw a party for once.instead of spending my bday in a dance studio.
and no its not a dumb question....well we all still need to be intact with our roots you know...
even though sometimes i act like a wannabe asian...(lol) which i dont wanna be.
