Okay so I've read a few articles on body piercing one says it's all fine and dandy just make it modest, really only ears and nose are okay. Then the other one said you can only have one set of piercing on your ears that it's nothing more. Well I got my upper part of my ear the cardalidge(forgive me for my spelling). Shortly after I got it pierced I read the article saying only one set of piercings on your lower ears only, if you get more pierced you can't be like barried as a jew. Sooo Guilt overcame me and I let it heal up, well tonight I got extremely bored. I went and searched on the web found another article saying it's all okay, then another detailing it saying nose and ears are only okay cause the talmud has examples of them, but it never said about multiple piercings.

So here is my question.

Can I have both my ear lobes (the lower part of the ear and most commonly pierced) and my upper part pierced at the same time, or is that bad.

^.^ Thanks everybody and for any one thinking about doing the same as me, just puse ice cubes to numb your ear. Then it's really easy. ^.^

Oh and for me I read an another article on the pope being bad at the same time, it helped me not focus on the pain. sweatdrop

Pierce your ear once and that's it, how would it look like when you'll grow up?
And guys ARE NOT ALLOWED TO PIERCE THEIR BODY end of question.

One view is that piercing is allowed becuase it is mentioned often in the Torah. In Breisheit (Genesis), when Eliezer meets Rebecca at the well, he puts a ring on her nose. In Shemot (Exodus), Aaron instructs the men to remove the earrings from their wives in order to construct the golden calf. Male ear piercing was also mentioned, many men showed what job they had by the type of earrings they wore.
However, piercing is also forbidden in the Torah. In Vayikra (Leviticus) it is specifically prohibited and associated with idolatry and/or mourning practices. Rambam (Maimonides) views this as saying that the origin of peircing is not Jewish and therefore is forbidden.
One must also consider that our bodies are created betzelem Elokiem - in the image of Hashem. As on loan and not our own t do whatever we want to.
You can also look at issues of tzniut (modesty). Nowadays many piercings are in innapropriate places, so showing themto someone would be a violation of the laws concerning modesty.
The Conservative movement views piercings as okay, as long as it is voluntary and does not believe that people with piercings should be denied burial in a Jewish cemetary.

Yea exactly so the piercings that are in the torah are clearly not forbidden, so there for you can not be denied or frowned upon. But I will admit that there are some piercings which are not exactly allowed 3nodding

Therefor, make the piercing only in your ears ( I don't know about the nose, I mean, even though Rivka had had a "nezem" in her nose, it was before the torah was given to us, I will try to see if it is allowed, bli nader.

Not at the moment, but I go to a Jewish school and had a class on stuff like this a few years ago, plus my mom is a rabbi-in-training.

I'm so used to people asking me what that means I usually stick with rabbi in training - or as she likes to say, rabbit sweatdrop because of the in training part... yeah.
