*Soft snow colored paws gracefully padded along the many dry patches of dead long grass; the lean female moved herself onward aimlessly. She had no place to be, no promises to keep- she was a free spirit and nothing could bring her down. Her glossy, pale eyes softly narrowed as a light gust of wind passed her. Her fur ruffled against her cheek as she lower her head and slowly moved onward.
Her body seemed well rounded and the muscles that lay under her coat flexed as she padded onward. She was strong and maybe even fierce- Eira is what she called herself- and she belonged to know one. She did not know where she was going- or what lands she may have stumbled upon- it didn’t matter to her… she wouldn’t stay for long.*

Pastel green eyes shimmered and flashed a little as Temari sat, staring into a nothingness that only she could see. The small golden dog had been in a state of rather horrid insanity recently. Ever since she'd met up with Twawa she'd been... off. Not entirely sure of why or how, she could simply just stare into this alternate reality.
Blinking faintly, the golden painted wolf curled her small toes against the ground. Her small body was easy to miss on the tan savannah grasslands, probably making it that much easier for her to avoid confrontations.
Yet all the same, the whip-like female was lonely. Using one of her paws to scratch at her thin belly, Temari stood slowly and shook her head sharply. It was about time that she went to look after the pups, but for some reason she just... didn't have it in her anymore.
"I'm going to drive myself even more insane if I keep pacing." Temari grumbled in her gentle voice. ninja

*Stalking herself deeper in to the unknown lands the tribal marked female stopped at the sent of another. A dark grin passed her muzzle as she slowly moved herself closer to the ground. Dirt and dead grasses softly laced along her under belly as she slowly made her way to this new sent. From what she could make out... it was another dog- female in gender… Good thing too... Eira didn’t much care for males; had it been a male’s sent that she had picked up… she would have attacked him.
Moving closer and closer the female stopped slowly and spotted the source of the sent. She was taken back… what was this? Was this a joke? Eira’s body slowly pulled up from her stalking position as she stood still. Before her, just a few feet from her was a female dog… thin and unhealthy looking. Eira’s head cocked to the side as she eyed the female with interest. She seemed to be fighting with herself about one thing or another. Slowly the female moved herself closer and spoke.*
“Are you alright?”

One of Temari's large ears flicked in the direction of the newcomer, confused that someone was talking to her when she appeared so insane. Twisting her golden furred head, the painted wolf female gazed at the larger white one before her. A female? Yes, that was probably better since she was surrounded by nothing but males and an uppity little b***h of a princess.
Curling her tail so that it touched her thin belly, Temari lowered her gaze to the ground, the rings under her eyes suddenly standing out as the light hit them.
"Umm, I'm not quite sure." Was the only response that Temari could come up with. ninja

*Eira slowly moved herself closer to the golden female and sat herself down in front of her. She kept her distance to be on the safe side still- but a troubled look passed her oddly marked face. Her red painted muzzle wrinkled as she spoke.*
“You don’t know? Mmmm… you do not look well my friend.”
*The female nodded slowly and took a better look at the female. She was so thin… it almost seemed sickening. With a soft sigh the white dog stood herself up and spoke.*
“My name is Eira- I am sorry if I am intruding on you in anyway- I couldn’t help but notice that you seemed distressed.”

"I don't feel well either, but worry not, you aren't intruding on anything that should continue." Temari explained in her normal soft voice, though it had a wicked ring to it in a way, one that Eira probably wouldn't notice since they'd only just met. Mostly that was thanks to the swirling thoughts brewing in her mind, thoughts of pain and anguish.
Things that made her angry.
"Eira. That's a pretty name." She said after a few moments of quite, her voice sincere, "Mine is Temari. It's a pleasure to meet you. I don't believe that I've seen you anywhere in the packlands before. What brings you here cousin?"
Eira seemed nice enough, though Temari thought it a shame that the first Mpinzani member she got to meet was one boardering on insanity. ninja

“The winds pulled me to this place, Temari.”
*The white female spoke with a strong nod, before batting her tail to her left side. She sat up tall and carried herself with pride.*
”I like to think that it’s fate that takes me to the places I go.”
*Her neon tinted eyes narrowed as she looked over Temari again. She seemed to frail... what was wrong with her? With a soft smile Eira spoke again, her ears perking upward as she did.*
“When was the last time you had a good meal to eat? You look starved…”

"The winds, they carry us wherever we wish to go, though recently the winds have been trying to tell me of something. After living for the longest time for the wind, for some reason I just... can't answer it this time." Temari said as she slumped to the ground.
She had been built for the wind, her chest deep, her waist thin and her entire body smaller than the average wild dog. Even her fur was thinner than normal so she could run faster. But now... now she was just a shell of what had once been a running machine. Now she could barely run at all.
"Fate... fate is cruel, but I understand it in some way." Temari said softly. "Ummm, it's been a good long while. Most of the hunters are back deeper in pack lands and I have three pups that just... take it out of me." ninja

*At the golden female’s words Eira nodded and in respect to her opinion she smiled. It was nice being in another’s company- Eira had been alone for so long it seemed. She softly sighed and looked over the female again. She needed food… a good meal would make all the difference. With a cocked grin Eira stood and spoke.*
“You just wait right here… I will get you something to eat.”
*With that said the female quickly moved herself up and took off into a light trot. She kept her movements still for a few moments, before moving back into her ‘stalker’ mode. Her ears pressed against the back of her skull softly as she lowered her snow colored body to the ground to make up for her lack of camouflage she was excellent at sneaking up on others. She had trained herself for years in this art- so when it came down to it, she could hurt just as well as any of the dog. With narrowed eyes she smirked. A young fawn was grazing not to far from where she lay. If she could take it down then her new friend would have more then enough to eat.
With a soft snarl the female quickly pushed herself up and charged at her target and with one fatale blow to the neck she pulled the young fawn to the floor; tinted in a soft red now the snow colored dog grinned with a deep passion. She loved this feeling… power ran through her veins like a drug. Slowly she pulled the game long side her. She didn’t struggle to keep it within her jaw; her fangs had sunk so far into it, there was no way in hell she would lose this kill. With a soft grunt the female padded her way back to Temari.*

Watching the white female walk away, Temari laid down slowly and felt her bruised ribs complain at her. Ever since she'd gotten poisoned by the arrow that was threatening her sanity and life, she'd been bruising more often. Why, she would never know.
Pastel eyes stared off into the distance again and she dropped her head to her dainty paws, closing her eyes after a long time and finally sighing. The world seemed to be moving far too fast for her recently, there was no reprieve at all, though Temari was nearly begging for one.
"Okay." She ghosted a long time after she should have. If Eira wanted to feed her, then Temari wouldn't complain. Her memory shimmered in and out, in and out. She could barely focus on half of what she needed to focus on. It was driving her up the wall. ninja

*Slowly Eira pulled herself along until she came within sight of the golden female. She beamed proudly and trotted to her, with her game dragging along side her. Setting down the animal she spoke.*
“Here, there should be enough here for you- and even your pups if need be.”
*Eira was not truly wicked- she did this act of kindness without thought. The blood coated female sat herself down and licked at her muzzle softly, trying to get the sent of blood off of her.*
“How many pups do you have?- if I may ask.”

Temari's ears pricked up as she saw what Eira was coming back with. She'd gotten a baby gazelle, that would serve as enough food for the both of them, and then some. If she saved enough for her pups then they would eat like kings.
"Thank you Eira." She said in a polite voice, one that was full of happiness for the first time since her boys were born. Standing she walked over to the fawn and dug her muzzle into its stomach. Instantly she was covered in deep red blood, but her stomach let a growl escape from it as she started to rip meat from the bones.
After she was sure that her stomach was sated, she sat down and yawned, licking her paws and rubbing them over her muzzle to clean her golden fur.
"Well, three from a more recent litter that are all young yet. Then there are three from an earlier litter from which I still don't know the father. All except one in the first litter are boys. I think I'm cursed for sons, or at least to be surrounded by men." Temari laughed in her gentle voice. ninja

*As her friend ate her fill Eira studied the lands with narrowed eyes. She took in all the information that she could gather while she has the chance. Around the time that Temari had finished she pulled away from her studied and smiled softly at her. She was happy to help; slowly she stood and with a deep smile laughed at her comment about her pups and males.*
“Males are useless.”
*Eira laughed softly. It was her mindset about everything, she disliked males and nothing would change that. Now for Temari that could be everything but the truth- due to her having a mate- but Eira said it in a way that it could be taken as a joke.*
“Sounds to me like you have a lot on your shoulders- do you have any friends? Other then your mate and pups? I think having at least one good friend makes a world’s difference.”

"Yes, in many ways they are. There are some things that they're good for, in their own ways. I have problems dealing with them from time to time, because they get into such bizzare situations." The mother shook her head tiredly, and finally put her paws down on the ground, done cleaning the blood from her muzzle.
A friend? Slowly Temari's ears fell to either side of her head as the golden female thought of the two friends she'd had that had gone off to do other things. Yakuti was gods only knew where, and Cushti Bok had gone off to find her cousin... and never come back. The only friends she 'd had were gone and now she was left with her mate and her sons.
"I have some there, but... sadly no friends to speak of any longer. The two ones that I had are gone now, off to do their own thing. So now I'm alone." Temari looked down at her small paws sadly. ninja

*As the mother spoke Eira smiled and nodded softly.*
“Then I shall be your friend!”
*The snow colored female laughed softly, before sitting herself beside the golden dog. She was happy that she had stumbled upon such a kind soul, it was nice being within the company of someone so sweet.*
