A large bonfire and tent has been set up in a rather conspicious location just outside of the village. Perhaps the doing of the staff, or perhaps at the request of one of the islanders, the whole setup seems rather odd and attention grabbing. Perhaps you're drawn there out of curiosity, boredom or simply missing the parties that you used to go to before being trapped on the island.

[Katina 25%] Katina was walking back to her duplex when she saw a tent and a bonfire, a party mabey? She looked closely but she couldn't see anyone else over there. Wanting to get a better view she started towards the setup. When she was just a little closer she could smell something really good but she couldn't quite put her finger on it, she was now even more curious.

(Richard is at 0%, arrived on the island a week ago, has met several islanders already so he knows the score. Richard is a very large older gentleman, quite over weight. He dresses a old fashion suit and carries a wooden cane. "
Richard was heading to the cafe for a late night snack when he noticed the warm glow of the fire just outside the village. Curiousity getting the better of him he veered off course, his stomach forgotten. He heads toward the blaze with a plodding pace, taking in his surroundings as he exits the village.

Katina finally arrives but cannot see anyone," Hello, is anyone here?" She wondered why there would be all this but no one around. She soon shrugged it off and sat near the bonfire warming her hands. How she loved a good fire, but she would prefer to enjoy it with someone.

(Megan is at 0% and just arived so she still has no idea whats up)
Megan had been wandering around the island ever since she had arived, she hadnt seen many people, but then again, this was supposed to be a remote vacation resort so people prabably hung out in the pools or spas or what not like good tourists. She however was here to enjoy the scenery and completely forget about any deadlines, or stress. That was the point of this, why her friends had shipped her off to someplace so far away, they wanted her to relax and so she would.
As she was just heading back to the village after walking up and down the coast all day she noticed a bondfire and tent set up. Her first reaction was to naturally pass by and just head straight to her duplex, but then a little voice in the back of her mind told her to go make friends. She stopped for a moment and thought about it, in the end she changed course and headed for the tent. She was here for a month after all and so why not make at least one friend, so she didnt have to be alone all the time.

(Tristan at 50% He's dressed up in his (slightly modified) greatcoat and Tricorn, and so presents a particularily odd figure)
Tristan had been taking a evening walk when he noticed the glow of the fire, which drew him like a moth to a flame. For surely the one thing that happens around bonfires is the telling of tales and the singing of songs and truly one of a bardic mind such as himself could hardly resist involving himself in it.
His course decided, Tristan headed off through the bushes, only occasionally bothered by the patches of unchanged flesh upon his body that had been so horribly burned and were the prime reason for his presence upon the island

As Richard nears the conflaguration he makes out a figure sitting in front of what appears to be a massive bonfire. Squinting againist the light of blaze, the figure slowly resolves into a recognizable shape.
"Katina? That you?" He asked the figure, something was off about her but the light made it difficult to see what it was. He picked up his pace a little, huffing slightly from the effort. Did she build the fire all by herself? Richard didn't see anyone else.

Katina turned her head at the sound of a voice, it was the old man she had met a couple of days before. She didn't know how he would react to her new change so she quickly turned her head around and kept quiet. She sighed, wishing that she hadn't had changed at all, that she was back home just being a normal 19 year old girl.

Megan saw a few people aproaching and took in a deep breath, she wasnt really that great at meeting people, but for the sake of her sanity, she decided she would try. However as she came closer she noticed that there seemed something off about the girl sitting closest to the fire. Megan just couldnt put her finger on it, she was too far off to really see details, and from her point of view the girl was framed by the fire so her figure was skewed a bit. Its just the reflection, said that little voice again, and Megan continued to approach, however a bit more slowly.

Richard stopped for a moment. She had clearly heard him but had not returned his greeting. Was he not who she was expecting? She hadn't been timid before, was something wrong?
Ah well, the young could be moody. Richard wanted to look at the fire for bit. Moody youngester or no moody younester. He continued his advance, chuckling. "Ignoring me won't make me disappear my dear." He could almost make out her face.

Tristan heard the older man's inquiry as he approached, perking his curiosity he changed his direction so that he would appear out of the bushes right by them. He'd definately be an odd sight to see coming out of the underbrush at this time of night he thought to himself.
Emerging from the bushes, Tristan cut a truly odd and somewhat disturbing figure clad in his archaic hat and coat but was otherwise obscured from sight. The firelight did nothing but expound upon this image.
Once his presence was known he made a neat bow to those present and subsequently sat himself down nearby facing the fire. Any differences between his physical form and that of an average person were totally obscured or obfuscated by the lighting and the bewildering strangeness of his garb and mannerisms.

Katina still didn't turn around, she couldn't stand to see his reaction to her change." I-I was not ignoring you." She stated looking to the ground. She felt like such a monster. just the other day she was telling him how she was afraid to change but now look at her. She scratched her ears again by habit, when she noticed what she was doing and put her hand down quickly and looked at it. He would definitely notice my new claws.

Megan came into the little circle of people just in time to see a strange man besides the older one and the young lady. He seemed off as well, like the young lady, but again the fire and his clothes tende to obscure his looks so she didnt make it to much of a point. She came around silently and sat opposite the old man and young lady in front of the fire.
She was still nerous about being around so many new people, but she knew she had to say something. She noticed the old man and young lady having a bit of an argument and watched it. She didnt mean to be rude but she didnt want to interupt.

Richard was now only five feet away from Katina. While the light was making still making details difficult it wasn't hard to figure out what was wrong. Well the pointed ear poking out from under her hair made it really obivious.
Richard startled slightly as a bulky man appeared from the shadows of the undergrowth. Momentarly distracted from Katina, he shot the new comer a stern look. What's the deal with stalking around like that. Richard had heard enough scraps of conversation to know there were things to worry about stalking through the jungle. The look deepened to a scowl when the man failed to introduce himself.
Shaking his head in annoyance he turned back to Katina. He stood next to her, looking into the fire, both hands resting on his cane infront of him. "You can show me you know. I'm not going to run away." He said softly.

Katina listened and heard Richard step next to her. Could she really show him? She took a deep breath and turned to look at him, patches of fur visible on her face as well as on her pointed ears. Her some was beginning to blacken and her hands ad small claws on them as well as small pads forming on the undersides. As she looked at him tears formed in her eyes, how would he react? Her small tail was curled up against her back.
The light from the fire made her tears glitter as they slid down her face. After a second of looking at him she looked back at the ground, ashamed.
