Jamaa carried his oldest son, blood born, around the Mpinzani pack grounds looking for his sons. Demani and Poki were old enough now to be able to have a family and so might as well watch their brother while he does his own business. Ryega growled softly in his father's maw, though ignored.
Poki, Poki, Poki, where are you~ he looked. Luckily he noticed Temari's familiar color and a male's scent. Poki!
Quickly he placed the pup beside the older dog. Ryega was shivering tremendously. Jamaa patted his back softly.
"Hey, Tahu, mind watching your little brother for a while? I want to talk to Temari for a bit. Okay? Thanks, see ya later!" he shouted before running back to the pack den to his mate.
Smooth, Jamaa....very smooth.

"Murrrs? Raaqrrrm!" But his father was gone before his protest was fully heard. Poki sighed and looked down at little Rey. This was the brother that was without sight. Poki didn't talk. How was he supposed to do anything with the little guy?
Laying down infront of the pup, Poki put his nose to Rey's and purred a hello. "Mrrrr...purrrrr."

Rey shivered and felt the cold touch of another on his nose. It was another dog's nose. Ryega sniffed softly, a familiar scent. He knew it well since this was the other dog that he knew well off.
"Po....ki..."
He murred softly. Tracing his paws over his face to make sure. Large muzzle, like other older dogs, and deep eyes, like his fathers. It was defiantly Poki, he knew it. Ryega's tail wagged a little and he moved toward his brother more.
"Tahupotiki!"

Poki's tail wagged too. At least the little one knew who he was. As the little pup felt his face over, Poki smiled more, nodding so that Rey knew he was correct.
Tahupotiki sat up and scooted the pup closer to him, still purring. Maybe they could play a game. But what kind of game can you play with one who is blind? Poki sighed and nosed Rey again.
Maybe Rey would have an Idea.

Ryega smiled and wagged his tail, he was right! His nose usually never failed...excpet it had been stuff as of late from his slight illness. But that was not so important. Until he came to a fever pitch, Ryega would do all he wanted.
Ryega reached up and touched his nose with Poki's.
"I wanna play hide and sniff." he suggested and scurried off into the bushes. It was a game he knew, his father taught him. Sure Ryega had a dislike towards his father but that was also not important. It was similiar to hide and seek, but since Rey could not see, he could just smell them out. But with a stuffy nose, it would be a challenge.

Poki smiled. Yes! The little one did have a game they could play. Hide an sniff. Very interesting. He could deffinatly play that. Poki watched as Rey waddled away a bit, keeping his eye on him.
The carbon-copy scurried off a few feet away so he hid behind a bush. Making a small noise to signal that he was ready, he crained his neck so that Rey was always in his sight.

Ryega paused and his ear twitched, Poki was hiding? That works too. Slowly he raised his nose into the air and gave a wet sounding sniff to see if he can pick up his scent. The area was strong of Poki's scent and it was hard.
"Poki?" he called out moving his head around and taking small steps. Slowly he moved closer and closer to a strong scent. Who it belonged to was near. Slowly he got closer and hit a bush and went no furhter.
"Poki?"

Poki's nose pushed through the bush and touched Rey's. "Marrf!" He sounded, moving out of the bush and next to Rey. He was good to be able to have found him. Poki wagged his tail and licked his brother happily on the head.
"Puurrrrrr?" He asked, in his own way, if he had done it right.

Ryega quirked a brow, staring at the ground. He always stared at the ground, it was what he always felt he had to do since he didn't know where anyone was really.
"That was fun, now it is my turn to hide." he spoke before disappearing into the same bush.
Slowly he moved around until he found a nice rock formation where he could hide. How did he know he could hide in it? One, he walked into it, hitting his nose on it. Second, he fell inside of it. Sniffing around, it seemed empty and pretty deep by the way it hurt him on his fall. There were a few rocks but that is it. Ryega let out a yip to signal for Poki to begin.

Poki watched as Reyga went off. He sat, waiting for his half-brother to make the call that ment he was ready to be found.
Hearing the sound, Poki nosed around in the bush. When his nose did not find Rey, he pushed into the bush more to look around. His scent was there, but Poki's eyes could not see him. Looking around Poki saw the rock, and a small glissening spot. Rey's nose must have hit it and left that mark. Maybe he was hiding around the rock?
Poki looked around the rock but didn't see him. Then Poki's paw slipped slightly in a hole. Retracting his paw, Poki pushed his nose down and met Rey's body. He purred.

Ryega murrsed and licked up at the poking object, it was his brother indeed. Ryega latched onto his muzzle and yipped to get him out, "Poki, I'm stuck in here..." he murred and tried his best to get a good grip on his muzzle.
Heh, it would seem that the dog who did not speak got a long well with the pup that could not see at all. One day, Ryega wished he could carry a conversation between teh two. He also wished that he could see his brother. He desperately wanted to see his family at least once in his life. Just once would make him happy. To see their faces, their furs, just them. At least their scent would remain with him.

Poki purred at Ryega's lick, then winced when he latched. Purring still to calm his little brother, he lifted his muzzle and nudged around till his teeth came gently to his brother's neck. Clenching his teeth at that one spot where the skin was thick, Poki lifted his brother sliwly from the hole so that he would not bump against the sides.
Poki then walked, with his brother still in his teeth, away from the bush and out into the open. Setting him down Poki put his nose to his little brother's. "Muurrrffs?"

Ryega tilted his head. Muurffs? What does that mean? He shook his head, "I don't understand." he spoke before touching noses again. Usually it was a sign of affection, but here it was a sign of communication.
It was Ryega's turn to seek, so was he trying to tell him that he was going to go hide? Or was it the other way around. Poki was confusing since you don't actually know what he is saying. Ryega just licked his nose again and wagged his tail.

Seeing that his little brother was confused, Poki nudged him all around. Maybe a word was in order? He wasn't used to talking, since he basicaly had stopped talking all together when Kizaki dissapeared. He really wasn't ready to talk at all.
Still nudging him, Poki tried to ask if he was okay. "Mmmrrooka?"

Ryega could only listen to the words and feel his brother touch all over him. Mmmrrooka? Was he asking if he was alright. Well of course he was, he had Poki to watch him, right? Ryega nodded with a smile.
"Ryega i-is alright. N-no harm done." he stampered. It was bound to happen. His voice shook softly when he wasn't speaking to his brother. It was just a habit he guessed. He laid down softly and licked the ground. Why? Dunno.
