Alright, damn it! I'm going to post my first pic in here. I know it's a horrible sight to behold, but no comments! This is me at an anime convention in Toronto last month. I'm on the left of actor/make-up artist Tom Savini (my personal hero). Tom's credits include acting in both the original and new version of "Dawn of the Dead", and "From Dusk Till Dawn" as well as many others. He is responsible for the make-up and special effect of all three films, as well as Night of the Living Dead, Day of the Dead and too many to be listed. He is a pioneer in his craft and an all around great guy!

That's awesome! I've heard of him, and he looks familiar too; I really like watching shows on how they make movies, and my favourite parts are always how they do the makeup/monster effects. And those segments are always too short, in my opinion. I just can't get enough. I think it might be one of those fields that I could have gone into if I hadn't decided to do teaching...
So what kind of an interest do you have in monster/effects makeup? Zombie movies mostly scare me, and I actually can't watch them (the cornier the effects are, the more I get severely grossed out to the point of crying it's really weird) but I really like Shaun of the Dead. The effects were amazing!!!
EDIT: And I see you got an autographed pic of him too; so lucky!!! Were they selling those, or was it free?

It's all good. xd I paid for the autograph, but I didn't mind one bit.
I had originally intended on going to film school when I was younger. I wanted to be a writer/director. Unfortunately, my mother got very sick, and I was forced to drop out of college to take care of her. I never really was able to go back.

I was for a long time. Still am really, when the mood hits me. I'm not really anything. I dress different depending on how I feel. I avoid stereotypes. xd
