Now, most people think its about Rockers and their addictions to drugs...due to the words Eat all the Grass that you want.
But here is the True Story.
One day on the way to Practice with the band, while Daron was driving, he hit a Rabbit. He got out...and realized the Rabbit was Dead. He named the Rabbit Rock 'n' Roll. Thats what the Eat all the Grass that you want and Accidents happen in the dark is all about...
Since most of us have seen the Uranium Interview, we know that System base many of their songs on their Real life Happenings.

that could be it, but i was thinking more of the obvious message that they are the new kind of music, people arent turning to 'old rock' anymore and so they 'killed' it. where did u hear ur side of the story?

A few Websites, and then on a Song Fact Website. It seemed true enough...and thats something Daron would do.

OhhIWentThere never knew, but I think it's an explanation. Better than being in the dark, like the poor bunny rabbit. Now your gettin' it. There was also a Tidbit about him seeing another bunny the next day that looked like Rock 'n' roll...That part I wasn't so sure about.

I actually laughed when I heard this (so did most of my friends) it is just such a random incident then it was turned into an amzing song xd
