I really, truly am terrified I am going to hell when I die. I have nightmares, I always see satans face, and I'm scared to death. Please help.

how do you see satans face,the most beautiful person is satan if i do recall correctly,and you are in a way supposed to fear going to hell but your directing it as if you are scared of satan,dont fear earthly failure,fear God for he will decide where you go,get close to him,spread His word ,and try not to betray him,just believe in him and love Him and you can be forgiven and you can be allowed into heaven

Sorry to burst ur bubble but there are no truely good ppl worthy to be saved. "For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God." I can't remember exactly where that is, in Romans i think. The way to heaven is total faith in God, belief that Jesus is ur Saviour and his sacrifice is what allows us to have the chance of glory. Of course u have to try to live right in the eyes of God as well - sometimes easier said than done.

Agreed, and romans 3:13 is the verse your talking about, ive given lessons on that verse, its a good verse. Also try John 3:16. Just pray that your sorry for what you've done/doing, and ask Jesus to come into your heart, and forgive your sins. EDIT: Also ill keep u in my prayers.

I can only concure with the rest here, but here's my little rememdy for such things, my mum told me to always say 'Get behind me Satan' whenever he's blocking your path. Plus Gods your ultimate Weapon when those sort of thingshappen so don't be afraid to call him. wink

If you are really a Christian--you have sincerely prayed to Jesus to forgive your sins and that your life is now his, you have nothing to worry about! Hell is a choice that is made--if you don't believe that Christ died for you, then you choose to go there. If you believe in Jesus Christ, then Hell is not something you have to worry about!

If you ask Jesus into your heart and say you beleive in him,and confess your a sinner then your saved.
If you really want to make sure you go to Heaven.
Read the Bible,Pray,And confess.

Please help. hey Sheikeh, if u are saved and said that pray that gets u into heavan then whats to worry? but i think the dreams ur having are by satan. see satan hates god and hates jesus, and he wants to hurt them or get them sad but by hurting us. its like a tug-a-war battle and where the rope. see satan wants to do the following 1. kill 2. steal 3. destroy so those dreams ur having are just by satan and u can stop them by praying to god/jesus andaksing them to tell the spirts to go away. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- and i was reading some of the post 1. satan is not beautiful, after he got thrown out of heavan because he htough he was better than god he became this ugly creature. yes he was beautful but not now. 2. god just doesnt save good people he also saves good people like paul his first name was saul but he killed christians but god got to him and he became good but god didnt save him when he was good he saved him when he was bad, other wise how could he become good? and for all u people who havent been saved just say this pray aloud or in ur head: dear jesus, i'm sorrie for the way i have been, and i bevielve u died on the cross for my sins. clean me and wash me and i promise i will try to change. and thats its. ur into heavan. in the bible it says that angel have a party evey time a person gets saved and in the bible it also says he who beilieve in my is a new creation meaning that when u get saved u become a new creation in Gods eyes and when he see u he sees his son and questions or comments pm me and dont be afriad to ~jennie~

To sum it all up(... in one long paragraph as i useually do with things) when God died for you on the cross, he took all of those sins away right? everytime you sin you have inflicted pain upon Jesus... BUT, what is the true matter is whether you are doing something about it. whether you are "Trying" to turn away from sin, and giving it all the might you can. and yes, remember, God will never make temptation too difficult to handle, there is always a way out. (it is said that we must not let even the thought of sin come into our minds). yes you have done much, but what are you going to do to change that? that is what you should worry about. You should not worry about things you have done in the past, you were not meant to carry those burdens, that's why Christ died for you on the cross, and whether you except him or not, he will take the burden of every sin that you commit. Also, it is a sin to worry (it is stated in the bible), Christ already died for those sins, he doesn't want you to dwell in them! you have to live for today, and let all of the things you have done in the past remind you of the day Christ died for you, so that you wont do them anymore. we all have to learn, to "Travel Light", how can we live "All Out" for God if we have all that luggage in our hands? just toss it all away and love God, and live for Him.
I would suggest reading the book "Traveling Light" it should help a lot, it's by "Max Lucado". and the song, "History" by "Matthew West"
By the way, Hell was "Made For" Satan and his demons, it's not going to be satan and his little minions running around poking you with their sticks. it'll be purly the wrath of God, God is in hell, he is everywhere. That's why the devil can't get you. Only God decides.

P.S. God will decide who should go to heaven, recommit yourself to Him, and live for him to the best of your abilities, he won't reject you if you do that. the devil cannot take you from the hands of God.

The Whole purpose of the sinners prayer is to commit yourself, it's like a reminder, or wakeup call for you to feel actually commitment instead of you just saying, "okay im gonna follow Christ now", instead you have a commitment in your heart to God, see?
