As far as I know, I will be the only Flute in Orchestra next year. That sucks, but it doesn't. That means, if I'm heard, everyone will hear me! Which means attention, which I don't mind. (I'm a Leo sweatdrop ) The bad thing, screwing up in concerts or in general. Also, I'm the only Piccolo in Marching Band. That's kind of a good thing, but I still have to worry about screwing up and people possibly hearing me. And keeping that bizitch in tune! scream

Mmm... I'm tempted to lock this, but I'm not sure where it "should" go. Someone else do something with it.

*raises hand* Only mallet player in our band. But we have no shortage of drummers. Yes, I can muster some sympathy for you. On the plus side, you don't have to compete with anybody else. The down side is, like you said, if you screw up, there's nobody else to cover it up for you. Also, there's nobody to give you any advice or for you to give advice to. And it does get kinda lonely... But I love my xylo. heart

Yeah, I was thinking I'm going to have to make friends with some violas or Kelly the Oboe player. She's all alone too.. Well, my friend Sarah actually sits next to the Flutes. She did this year anyway..Maybe next year she will too

Last year I was the only bass clarinet, and next year I'll probably be alone again. I was adopted by the flutes, though.

No! I know I said that I kind of didn't want to be in Orchestra alone, but now Ryan is trying to take Orchestra this year instead of Gym and then take another gym during his Senior year to make up for it.
