I just finished reading death note and I honestly don't know what I think of the ending.
I'm a little sad that he died but on the other hand, Ryuuk was awsome.
What did you think of the ending?

It was sad... a bit disappointing too.

I thought the ending was kind of rushed. sad
Though I had expected Kira to die in the end - I hadnt expected it to be so quick and soon. I'm a Near supporter though; so I was kinda chuffed about his victory.

What did you think of the ending? In a way, the ending (by the time it was close to the end) was a little rushed and predictable. I really wanted to know what happened to Misa since she was fangirling over that a** Raito so much, I hope that she lives a happy life and realizes how much he took advantage of her. ALSO, what happened to L?! I really want to know more about him (he's by far my favorite character.)

the only thing i liked about the stupid ending was that stupid raito GOT WHAT HE FRIGGIN DESERVED. but...mello and matt...*sniffles* at least they'll keep eachother company in HEAVEN while raito ROTS IN DARK, COLD, NOWHERENESS!!!!!! i hope he suffers good.
i really missed L in the end. i was screaming at the computer when raito was all bloody and dying (and crying at the same time) HA! HOW DO YOU LIKE THAT, STUPID RAITO!!! YEAH, b***h! WHAT NOW?!?!?!?! WHAT. NOW?!? and then i was like...crap. he's really dead. eek stare confused emo crying it's over...*sniffles*

I thought the ending was sad since he died. AND I thought that the way he died was in a way scary. HOwever, i am glad that Near became the new L~

LOL. I don't think so. He never used the Note; but was a victim of it.

I thought the ending was okay, but could have ben better. Even tho Raito is my favorite character I thought it was funny how the tables had turned on him so bad lol

I didn't like the ending. Raito should've suffered a bit more. I think he should have been sent to a void where he would be tormented by the people he killed with the Death Note. It would've been kind of cool to see a sadistic L XP... I was pretty po-ed when chapter 58ish came up, he was awesome. The Ryuk part could've came up after that.

It was a little disappointed.
I mean, usually I'd wait and read the manga all through the american verison, instead of scanlations.
But I finished the series in slight hope that L would come back by some weird twist of fate, you know, somthing that the awsome writter is capable of coming up with.
But he didnt. D: Everyone I liked died.
And Misa was on the last page in a dramatic fashion that irked me.
Because I dont like Misa. D:

LOL. I don't think so. He never used the Note; but was a victim of it.I think he went to 'Mu' as well. Ryuk did say there is no such thing as heaven or hell. Wouldnt you think he'd say "for you, Raito, you wont go to heaven or hell." if there was more than 'mu'.
