Many roads and path have been maped through this forest but it hasn't been fully explored because of it's treacherous terrain. There's many secrets hidden in this forest but for now, people are just content with what they have now: a camping site. *This is a commerce/role-play thread*

((continued from Cliffside City thread)) Lonewolf, with Violet on his shoulder, appeared just outside the forest. He walked through the trees for about 20 minutes, going closer and closer to the heart of the forest, until he came across an old rickety cabin who no one knew about.  The trees surrounding the cabin were about 100 feet tall and completely cloaked the cabin from anyone who had a bird's eye view. It had a very dark and depressing atmosphere to its exterior and only very few thin light streams emanated through the leaves of the trees that surrounded the area. A grey wolf suddenly popped its head from behind a tree and ran towards Lonewolf. Lonewolf kneeled down and welcomed the wolf, who licked his hands and allowed itself to be petted by its master. "You miss me, Locke?" He scruffled the wolf's main, "Yes, I have missed you as well." He stood up and walked into the cabin. Walked over to the refridgerator and took out a slump of raw meat. He then walked back outside and tossed it to his pet wolf, who ate the meat ferociously. He then left the front door open and walked back into the cabin and lit a few candles in the living room with his finger tips. He then walked over to a stereo which he had bought and turned on some classical, non-lyrical music. He walked over to the couch and sat down on it, still with Violet on his shoulder and opened up where he left off in his book. Locke, his pet wolf, came in shortly afterwards and hopped up onto the couch and lay beside its master and decided to take a nap. Lonewolf sighed heavily, basking in the peacefulness of his cabin. The interior of the cabin was completely opposite from its exterior. It had a warm and peaceful atmosphere to it. He reached into his coat pocket and grabbed a pair of reading glasses and put them on, which looked kind of funny over his right eyepatch, then began to read his book. It was one of his favorite books. A romance novel which contained some bit of action, and obviously filled with happiness and love. A fictitous world which will never exist, he thought silently.

Violet sighed, unsure of just why they had to leave after all. And why Lone was mad at Sir Lion. She crawled down from his shoulder and climbed onto Locke's head, scratching it lightly.
Violet layed down in the tuff of fur on the back of Locke's neck.
"This one is confused Locke, why did we run into Sir Lion? And why weren't they happy to see eachother...? I think Sir Haji would have been excited to see Lion."
She turned on her back and her system hummed lightly.
"I do hope Sir Lion gets better, I think he was hurt."
Violet curled into a ball. "I wonder if anyone else is back at the guild..."
She closed her eyes but thought about getting back to the guild. She still had Erim's needle.. she could reappear in the guild. But Master wouldn't like that. There must be a reason why.
The humming stopped and Violet slept.

Somewhere deep in the forest, a mysterious melody was played from an unknown source. The music filled the forest with its enchanting melody. The melody was peaceful and carried a feeling of days long past. When the music stopped, the melody continued, traveling on the winds that carried them far and wide to those you could hear it.

Locke's ears perked up at a distant sound. He lifted his neck and turned his head to the side, tossing Violet onto the floor.
"Ouch! Locke, what's wrong?"
She followed Locke's direction out the window. The forest was empty.
"I don't see anything boy..."

Like Locke, Lonewolf noticed a faint melody coming from somewhere within the forest. He lay his book down on his lap and turned his head as he saw Locke walk over to the window. "Seems we aren't alone here." Lonewolf stood up and walked over to the window, he plucked Violet off the ground and onto his shoulder as he walked in that direction. He stood there next to his pet wolf as he leaned his left shoulder against the window pain and crossed his arms and legs, listening to the faint sound of the melody. He heard a low growl coming from Locke, Lonewolf smiled and scruffled Locke's mane, "No worries, old friend. Whoever is out there isn't coming here. That I can assure you." He patted Locke on the head and looked back out the window.
That instrument....an...ocarina..?
An old familiar face flashed through his mind. Ocarina. The young dragoon, who always played that instrument. Yes...he remembered him. He passed away hundreds of years ago though. How fragile humans are, Lonewolf thought as he spat out the window.
Humans....how he despised them, he thought sardonically. He closed his eyes, still leaning against the window paine and listening to the ocarina's tune. Remembering better days.

Kenji looked around the area, frustrated that the park rangers didn't explore this area. He always had a bad sense of direction and always ends up getting left behind by whoever he was with when something of interest draws his attention. "Rayl. You still there?" Kenji asked when he just noticed that he couldn't feel the presence of Kinera's brother. Silience answered him. "...Rayl?...Cmon...this is turning out to be a very, very shitty week for me." Kenji sighed and continued on following the aura trail, the only lifeline to whoever it was and directions back home.

A few trees had small cut marks that led deep into the forest. Small mouse ran by Kenji with a berry and ran quickly down a think path that followed the marked trees.

Rayl had tried to run after Kenji but on the way there he stopped. The sense came back to him as he looked back for a second, he though something was watching or following but wasn't sure. "Kenji, let's be careful." Rayl turned aronud to see some brushes rustling in the distance. "Damnit Kenji wait up!" Rayl ran towards the small bushes and jumped over them with ease and upon landing a rope tightened around his leg and Rayl shot upwards into the air 75 ft hidden behind the thick leaves of the forest. "I'm having a great day today."
Rayl thought about the training Leon gave him and tried to focus his energy into some sort of solid object. Hopefully something that he could use to cut through the rope with. After trying for a few minutes Rayl could not create anything more than a small blue light shining from his hand. "Maybe this is a fireball!" Rayl focused on throwing the energy at the rope and the light upon touching the rope it solidified into a solid ice rope. "Crap! I just made it stronger!" Rayl began to think for a second though, "If the rope is ice maybe I can...." Rayl used his athletic ability to twist his body around with some momentum and swung himself upwards and kicked the rope with his free foot. The rope shattered and Rayl landed on a tree limb a couple feet below where his head was. "Maybe my luck is starting to change."
*crack*
"Hmm?" The tree limb snapped and Rayl fell towards the ground face first and with a deafening thud Rayl passed out from the pain in his head.
((Sorry got bored and wrote a big post, hope it makes yall laugh a little)).

A figure in a tree turned its head hearing all the noise made by Rayl. The music in the forest stopped. "hmm?" The figure bounded off the branch it was in and lept from tree to tree. until the source of the noise was found below. Two eyes peered out of the leaves of the tree and looked down at the fallen man.

Rayl slowly regained conscience and sat back against a tree rubbing his head softly. Looking up he noticed a small pair of eyes staring back at him from a bush straight ahead, Rayl slowly reached for his weapon and grabbed a firm grip on the handle of his Naginata.

The eyes looked down at Rayl and saw him grab a weapon and his eyes widened but then glared."hmm" evil . The figure russled around the tree and then threw an acorn at Rayl's head.

Rayl moved his head to the side barely missing the acorn and jumped into the bush with the blade of his naginata going straight down attemptnig to pierce whatevers inside.
