Minna - just turned 25%

Minna lay on a beach towel, just barely out of reach of the water. Her small body was confined in her lime green bikini, which was current;y showing off the new stripes she had aquired, as well as a thin tail. In her hands she held a romance novel, and she was very engrossed in the plot.

Packing all the food into his cooler along with some beverages, Christopher exited his duplex and locked the door behind him. He was to go to the beach today to have lunch with someone trying to play it anonymous. While he had been deep in sleep last night, someone had slid a note under his door which read:

I want to meet you again.
Considering the last circumstances of when we last met, we really didn't get to know each other at all. So, I was wondering if you would meet me at the beach today. If you wish to, bring some lunch. I expect Glacus to be there too since he's been hanging out in the water a lot lately. See you soon.

The note had not been signed but he could smell the person's scent on the paper. He smirked a little, wondering what today's meeting would be like. He also hoped he had packed enough food. He had spent most of the morning putting together dishes of seasoned chicken (fried in olive oil) and angel hair pasta with pamensan sauce. He hope everyone would enjoy the meal.

When Christopher reached the beach, he froze in place and came close to losing his grip on the cooler. There she was, sitting on the beach in a green bikini and reading a novel. Her recent changes actually added to his admiration of her figure. He wasn't much of a looker but he couldn't help it. She looked so beautiful. And those furred stripes and the tail... it was really getting him excited. If he had a tail at this point, it would be wagging uncontrollably.

This was the first time that had ever happened to him. He's found girls really pretty before but he never felt this worked up just from the sight. He didn't know what had come over him at all. He started to blush and get nervous about approaching her.

However, he managed to work himself up to approach her. He set down the cooler and greeted her, "Hey Minna. How are you today?"

He walked up to her and saw that a very anxious Chris was there too. He started to run and then tripped and, Oomph! He fell flat on his face. He stood up, looked around cautiously, and then he dusted himself off and tried to walk up like nothing had happened. Although because his toes had started to web he had to be careful how he ran, because he was off balance. He also was kind of disappointed he, he knew that by examining one of his scales, that he was definitely a fish, and in his ocean Oceanography book, he might have found out what it was.
He prepared himself to tell them but he got up and they looked the two of them would laugh uncontrollably.

Even though she knew it wa mean, she chuckled as Galcus fell.

"Are you ok?", she asked casually flipping her hair over her shoulder.

"And Chis this looks absolutley amazin'"

"You know Glacus..." Christopher addressed his friend once more, "I made plenty for all of us. So feel free to have a seat and join us please."

Christopher handed off a plate and utensils to both Minna and Glacus so that they could go ahead and help themselves to the small feast he had prepared. He took two scoops of the pasta and one of the boneless skinless chicken breasts to begin with. He took a bite and a look of bliss formed on his face. It was delicious, more tasty than usual. Ever since his changes, his tastebuds were more distinct and sensitive to flavors.

He turned back to Glacus and asked, "So what have you been up to as of late ol' buddy ol' pal?"

He also made sure to acknowledge Minna's presence too though. "I must say Minna, those stripes actually really compliment you. It's very nice. I would guess from the fur markings and the tail that it's a meerkat?"

He was sure of it since Christopher had a friend who was obssessed with The Lion King, the meerkat character Timon in particular. The guy had dressed up as some kind of anthropomorphic meerkat almost every Halloween. Made the feet, hands, and tail himself. The memory made him roll his eyes but chuckle as well.

'Well, whatever she's becoming,' Christopher's thoughts intruded once more, 'It sure is doing wonders in its own way.'

"Hmmm...never though it would be a meerkat," a smiled played on her lips, "I love that movie, you know, The Lion King. A lionfish huh? Can you breathe longer under water?", she asked lightly slurping a few noodles.

"Chris this is great. Thanks for the compliment, I guess I don't have to worry about pleasing agents anymore."

" Where'd y'all come from? What about your families?', Minna asked, genuinly intrested. Waiting for a reply she pulled her legs under her in an indian style, casting glances between the two. Her glances being more bashful towards Chris.

"Oh, that would really suck. I'm a tannin' freak.", she made a face of mock horror, and then burst into a fit of giggles.
