I'm from Pride of the Lancers band in southern California, waaaaaay down south (nearly on the U.S./Mexico border). Is anyone planning on going to Mira Mesa, Vista, Chula Vista, or Temecula field shows?

I'm so proud! We got 2nd place in parade in our division. <3 But we all still have a lot of work to do.
Edit: Let me restate that. 1st place for both band and auxillary in parade. We've been working really hard for field, though. This Saturday (18th) is our last field show in Temecula, California.

I am at Sonoma State University and play in their Wind Ensemble...
before that I was at Oakmont High School which is near Sacramento, CA
I have a very strong feeling that there is no one from near me...but that is the way it usually works! :-p

Was anyone here at the band review yesterday in Madera, CA? If so, did you guys just do marching, field, or both?
I was there with the rest of my Scarlet Regminet buddies (San Benito)
Yesterday was the first time in six years that our band has done a field show competition, and we actually placed! Our guard instructor owes us (just guard) dinner because she said she would if we placed and we did xD yepyep~
