I think a chat thread is a good idea, just for anything general to discuss and everything.
Hopefully everything will go along great with this guild. My suggestion is to just keep it active, invite many people from such boards like the anime one on the main Gaia forums, and keep it unique and interesting.
With a lot of work you can make this place great, and make a lot of cool new friends. Good luck, and I'll stop by whenever I can.
