Is the game really good? Better than the first one?
Are the attacks more detailed? Are there more specials? Is the storyline well done? Is there anything better about the game than the first one? Who's your favorite character?
(Yeah..I've been wanting to get the game, I just haven't gotten to it yet.))

As far as i have seen the game is byfar better then the original. Some of the attacks look similar, sence nothing can realy be changed with some some, but the majority got a major makeover which makes them look alot better then the orgininal. The story line leaves much desired (again my opinion and i still ahve 3 chapters left) it just seems to go to slow in some parts and to fast in others. My favorite characters are Adell and Yukimaru. Finaly, if your a fan to the series you have to get this version it costs about 50 us dollars without the 670 page guide and about 70us dollars with it.

^^ Disgaea 2 is just as fun as the first one. stressed I fought laharl who was lvl 1010 and I almost had him! evil Then Flonne snuck up on my lvl 600 thief and killed her...man I suck... crying

I haven't played the first game(sadly ;_ wink , but the game pwns. It's one my favorite games of all time, and I'm sure if you liked the first game, you'll enjoy the second. Plus, it has Axel. And everyone who's played the game knows how cool he is.

MasterofFoolishness a ninja joins you and says zam a lot. Does she actually say "zam" in the english part? I'm too lazy to switch it over. xD *sad* From what I can tell, she says "gozaru" a lot. D: But that's just because I'm picky and apply Japanese settings. Anyways. Disgaea 2: The story can't hold itself against the first (though I AM waiting to see the last 3 or 4 episodes...who knows what'll happen (No Spoilers, please). It's still as fun as the first and the system has been revamped...quite well I might add. So much more to do. @_@

Etna doesnt join you into later in the game which disappointed me a bit.
Deatiled attacks: Yes
More speicals?: of course dood.
Storyline: perfect
Fav char: Rozalin,Yukimaru,Etna

I have 10 hours clocked in right now. I love how the attack details were changed. ^^ King of Beasts is still my favorite skill, but guns are less usefull now>< I think the storyline is okay so far, but i'm only in chapter nine. I only like it in Japanese because i'm sick of hearing "That's just my style" and "Zam" all the time. Its almost as annoying as BELIEVE IT><

I miss the staticians sad and I miss being able to level a character really high and just being able to reincarnate them to the highest level one (rather than having to go through each one) but I guess doing that defeats the purpose of all the middle 5 lol
