Orochimaru had placed on his old Akatsuki robe, hat, and headband so that the journey would be a lot less of a hassle. There were a few other uses for it as well...but mostly so that he wouldn't be seen as whom he really was.
He continued on his path to cloud.

"Damnit...that means they've headed to the hospital.....I'll have to get into Konoha now..." Orochimaru muttered as they continued on. "Make sure the Akatsuki doesn't get away unscathed" he said as he headed directly for the Valley of the End.

It was easier in some ways coming this way. Gravity helped speed the process along but Soren found himself watching his footing more as it would be dangerous to trip for anyone here.
