You have come to the Notebook of --Marie--Wolf--Demon-- and Taki. Please do not post unless you have their permission.
About Rain Showers Falling drops of water larger than 0.02 inch in diameter. Showers are rain that falls intermittently over a small area. The rain from an individual shower can be heavy or light, but doesn't cover a large area or last more than an hour or so.
Care of egg:
Keep it cool and wet until it hatches.
It should hatch in 5-10 days.

About Marie and Taki
Opening File Marie
Document of 16 year old girl named Marie
Joined gaia on June of 2005 at age sixteen
Owner of a large house in Durem with her children (breedables) Luna Selene, Olivia, Aymery, Taki, and sometimes accompanied by a talking wolf named Scarlet, who has been with Marie ever since she was a little girl and has served as a companion ever since, though now she only visits once in a while.
Appearance of pale skin, short black hair reaching her chin, 5'9, weighing at an estimated 150 pounds, large blue eyes, slightly upturned nose, thin lips, elven ears, tiny blue at the center of forehead, claws, fangs. black tail.
Hyper, happy-go-lucky, silly, sarcastic at times, slightly impatient
Hoping for an occupation of a writer some day, but currently just has a part-time job as a fisher and occasional bumper.
Enjoys sunsets, cherry blossom trees, good books, art, fantasy stories, breedables, gold, the company of friends, food, while dislikes snobs, being worried, when her friends are upset and she doesn't know how to help, being confused, not knowing things, people who are as stubborn as she is, when she can't make a smart comeback, math, falling asleep when she doesn't want to, annoying people, things that cost too much for her to afford. Her hobbies are reading, writing, going on the internet, buying breedables, winning arguments, jumping, dancing, being hyper with no one to stop her, getting out of school.
Mother: Water elemental. Father: Wolf demon. Both dead. Orphaned at the age of six, but never going to an orphanage. Living with her cruel grandmother, who still had enough energy to be cruel since she had drank from the fountain of youth a few years back, she ran away over and over, until she finally gathered enough money to get her own house.

Joined gaia for an uknown amount of time, at the age of, well, an egg!
Living in a house in Durem with her mother and siblings. She currently stays in Marie's room, but plans are being made to get her own once she becomes a puff (or child if she's not mature enough to have her own as a puff).
Appearance of a silvery raindrop, gleaming and sparkling. Appearance will change.
Personality is not exactly discovered yet, but Taki does seem to like wiggling, so she must be active. Also quick to give up (don't ask) but nothing else is known as this time.
Doesn't exactly want an occupation, except probably helping change the weather.
Not much known. Likes wiggling, water, Marie....Doesn't like....er....unknown. Hobbies are wiggling, floating, getting attention.
Mother: Unknown. Father: Unknown. Found by Marie, so to be considered her mother.

Family
Marie: Mother...sort of. Marie found Taki in a bizarre incident, and eventually found out that she was a wethkin. Marie is a happy-go-lucky kind of girl who is very hyper and enjoys singing (very off-key, mind you) and dancing. She loves Taki and is often checking on her and playing with her.
Scarlet: Aunt...sort of. Scarlet is a figment of Marie's imagination that came to life of her own accord. She is a talking wolf pup that never grows and is obsessed with world domination O.o...She always tags along with Marie and tries to annoy her, though she loves Taki like a daughter.
Luna Selene:
Sister. Luna is the oldest of the bunch, and was abandoned as an egg. Marie adopted her. Luna is the lightest bit of a tomboy and enjoys playing, her best friend's name is Reizenzorn, and Taki likes his colors. Luna is always competing with Olivia (below). The two are the competitive ones in the family. The two seem to hate eachother, but in a playful way. But that's not the way Luna acts toward Taki. She seems to have a real hate for her. Taki always tries to play with her and seems too young to understand that Luna doesn't like her, as though they're playing a game. Sometimes, though, she will seem to understand and will sulk and sometimes even cry. Luna also has a human form. She is a synix, which is like a pheonix. Synix are guardians of space, such as moon types, star types, and planet types. Luna is the guardian of nptune.
Olivia:
Sister. Olivia is the type that will stay in front of her vanity for hours at a time. She spends most of her time in her room or in the lands of the airashii. An airashii, by the way, is a gryphon-like creature. Olivia is the purple hibiscus type. Like the other siblings, she seems to despise Taki for some unknown reason. Taki doesn't mind, though. She doesn't like her as much as she likes Luna. She thinks that Olivia spends too much time in front of the mirror and won't seem to notice when Olivia sends a glare her way, ignoring her most of the time.
Aymery:
Brother. Ugh. Aymery is so playful and annoying, Taki will actually try to get awayfrom him. Not that she needs to, because he seems to despise her as much as the others. The others seem to like his playful nature, for some reason. He is a chevreal, which looks alot like a goat/unicorn, but nothing is certain. He is often daydreaming about his girlfriend, Nikkei, which Taki also finds annoying. She does not know why exactly, but she just doesn't like Aymery at all. She always seems him gallop through the house, and when she does she always tries to hide since she doesn't want a ride.
Lilitha:
Companion of Luna Selene. Lilitha is not exactly a part of the family, but she lives there. She is rather complicated, in Taki's opinion. She sleeps in the same room as Luna, and yet she hates Luna, no matter how much Luna tries to please her. As Marie was trying to whisper soothingly to Taki, she told her a story. She said that long ago, the undine (the race of Lilitha) lived in the synix lands. Then, when the synix came down to live on earth, the undine created an eternal grudge. A grudge because the synix drank their water and swam in it, and ate their friends, the fish. It would make sense. Lilitha doesn't seem to mind Marie, and though she doesn't like the others, she doesn't hate them. But Luna...No matter. Taki likes Lilitha. Once, when Marie asked her to change Taki's water, she did. Just like her brother and sisters would. But, unlike her brother and sisters, who would simply put some freezing water in a bowl and dump her in, Lilitha carefully put the water to the right temperature to fill the bowl to the right amount, and placed her in carefully. She sometimes lets Taki float through her little mini-pool, and smiles gently at her. Taki definately approves of her.
Joy:
Sister. Joy is a drow, but that's not a breedable pet; it's a dark elf. She used to reside in the Underdark, where most drow live, but for a reason that Taki does not know, she left. Marie adopted her. She is her caretaker. Joy doesn't live in the mansion in Durem, but at a boarding school. She's not "evil" like most drow, but she is shy and quiet and...rather lifeless. Dull. Like the spirit was sucked out of her. The others seem to think of her as "weird" but she baked cookies with Marie and Taki, and she smiled at her (and when I say smile, I mean the ends of her mouth twitched slightly) and she's nice, so Taki likes her. She hopes that Joy visits her again soon.

1) Only post if you're going to do it in RP mode. It'd get really annoying if you would just go "Hi" like it's a chatroom in here...
2) Yesh, I know Taki ish da smex, but please, no drooling. wink
3) No flaming. Please.
4) Don't do anything stupid. neutral Seriously.
5) More rules are to be added if Marie feels that they need to be added! twisted

Friends and accquaintences
Rune: At the moment, he is Taki's closest friend. She played with him once and he wrapped his tail around her! He is the only one that Taki knows besides Calli and Aure, and she doesn't know them very well. He is part of a little play group that Marie tends to think about, with Calli, Aure, and Taki in it as well. Taki likes his colors.
Callidora: Taki doesn't know this little wethkin very well yet, but she sure does like Calli! Calli, along with it's sibling(?), Aure, was there to witness Taki's hatching. It also seemed to be very playful, and Taki likes that.Taki would really like to get to know it better and play with Calli. Also part of that play-group thing that Taki doesn't understand.
Aure: Calli's sibling(?). Like Callidora, Aure was there to witness Taki's hatching. It seemed to like dancing alot. Just like Calli. In fact, it seemed to be alot like Calli. So Taki would like to get to know Aure better, too. Yet another member in that group that Marie talks about and Taki doesn't understand. Mommies are weird.

How I found Taki!
A young girl with short, uneven black hair and blue eyes, at the age of about sixteen, stared at the many buildings of Durem. She herself lived in a house that might have been a hotel before--judging by all the rooms that were in it. Her name was Marie, and she was slightly different from most residents in Durem.
How? Well, just look at the reason she had bought the house! She was a breedable pet owner. Of course, everyone (Who knows about magic) knows what breedable pet is, but not everyone loves them. Especially people in Durem. You see, alot of people in Durem didn't like the idea of these new, somewhat-magical animals.
Now, don't get me wrong. Durem is a big place, and there are bound to be some people who like breedables, but even they aren't going to be the first to admit it, for fear of having to move away.
No, having a breedable pet wasn't illegal in Durem, but it might as well have been, for all the cold stares you'd get, and the rumours spread about you. Marie herself already owned four pets, and planned to own alot more. She sometimes wished she lived in Barton Town, where people were pet-friendly, or even Isle de Gambino! But the fact was, there weren't alot of houses as big as this around, and Marie wasn't going to give this one up. But she loved breedables, and loved to get them.
So you could imagine her reaction now, when she saw an egg on her fire-escape?
It was raining really hard, and it was getting pretty hot this spring, so Marie, like others, was sitting out to feel the cool wet raindrops. She wore a pair of shorts and a tie-dye tanktop, sitting on her fire-escape to avoid the the chaos going on within the house. Luna Selene, her synix, was teasing Olivia (Marie's airashii) about her crush. Lilitha was complaining loudly about Luna not changing her water properly, and, just beause he liked to add to things like this, Aymery the chevreal was galloping around the house screaming "TUNAFISH SANDWICHES!" And Marie was just too tired to deal with it all.
Suddenly, something hit her on the head. It didn't hurt, but it still caused her to jump.
She looked around, trying to find what had tapped her head, and stood up. Something small was cradled between the bars of the fire escape. Marie debated on wether or not she should grab it--it looked intriuging, and yet it also looked as though the slightest nudge could send it flying through the bars. She stared at it. It looked, to be honest, like an overgrown raindrop. Yet it was so solid and glassy. She almost believed she could feel a pulse coming from it. It couldn't be...yet it had to be...but what kind of egg just fell from the sky?
Biting her lip. she reached out her hand and grabbed the top of it betwen her index finger and her thumb.
It fell.
Marie let out a little yelp. She could believe how slippery that thing was! Her heart thumping, she began to race down the steps of the fire escape, slipping a number of times, always watching over the edge to see where it was. She saw it flying for a group of young boys. SHe knew she shouldn't call out to them...People from Durem hated creatures...
"HEY YOU!" she cried out, stopping on the fireplace. "Catch it!"
"Catch wha--" said one of the boys, but the egg fell into his hands by the good will of God. He squinted at it as Marie breathed a sigh of relief. "Ummm...what am I looking at?"
Marie rose an eyebrow. He couldn't see it? But why not? "Err..." she said, trying to think of a semi-believable excuse.
"Hey!" shouted one of the boys suddenly, snatching the egg roughly out of the other boy's hand. Marie winced. How much more of this abuse could the egg take? "I can see it! It's--it's...what is it, anyway?"
"It's mine!" called Marie hoarsely. "It's a trophy I won at...at...at a birthday party! I dropped it! Give it back! Please!"
The boy stared closely at it. "No way..." he said softly (Marie was on the last floor before the ground now, so she could here everything). "This ain't a trophy! It's an egg! An egg for a creature!" Some of the boys murmured in agreement, while the others still tried to figure out what everyone was looking at. He looked at Marie suspiciously. "Where did you get a filthy thing like this?"

"Ahhhh...Um, like I said, I won it at a birthday party. Someone must've wanted to get rid of the poor thing." She laughed uncomfterably and jumped down from the ladder. "Heh. Well, it's still mine, and I'd like to have it back, if you please..." She slowly advanced upon them, not wanting them to start running with it. She was wearing flipflops.
"Hey!" said one of the boys smartly. "Let's go throw it in the ocean at the Port!"
The others agreed enthusiastically, even the ones that couldn't see it, and Marie winced.
"I'm warning you," she said menacingly. "Give it back."
The boys laughed and started to play Hot Potato with it. She reached out for it, but the one holding it currently raised his eyebrows and pretended to drop it, then ran off with it. She groaned exasperatedly and called "LUNA! LUNA SELENE, COME ON! GET OUT HERE!"
A young woman with long, silky black hair and Marie's blue eyes peeked her head out of a window. "What is it, mom?" Odd, since the young woman seemed older than Marie.
"Come on! Some kids just stole an egg, and you gotta fly me to the Gambino Port!"
"But mom! People will see me!"
"So what?" shrugged Marie. "Everyone's gonna figure out what kind of family we are anyway. Come on!"
Suddenly the girl was a six-foot-tall pheonix, with swirls of blue and purple feathers. She flew to the gound, and when Marie had her arms fastened securely around her long neck, they took off.
