It wasn't a particularly sunny or nice day out today, yet at the same time it was one of those days where one couldn't help but feel the urge to go outside and do something. After all- winter was coming, and there were precious few days left in which one could enjoy the slowly fading warmth of the summer air before the chill of autumn and winter took over.

Flitch himself was one of those people who had felt the urge to go outside today, donning his light autumn jacket as he wandered rather aimlessly through the streets. There really was no need for said jacket, but the blue-haired Sin' was just too fond of it to not wear it. At the moment he was in one of the town's busier sections, where one could find fashion shops, cafes, and stylish things aplenty geared towards young adults. He had no interest in these types of shops, to be honest... but sometimes it was just fun to look in the windows at the clothes and nifty decorations they had set up in the window. Window-shopping, some may call it. Yet Flitch was not out to shop, he was just out for the sake of being out. He just happened to be in the area.

Yet occasionally a shop would catch his interest. More often than not it was a bookshop, but sometimes even the antique or local artists' stores would catch his attention. He'd pause, peer inside for a few moments, then move on. However, one store in particular caught his attention. It was a ramshackle little place, seemingly wedged thoughtlessly between some ritzy restauraunt and a large clothing store. The windows were dark, the shop's name was peeling off in a manner such that it was illegible, yet a small 'Open' sign hung in the window. Below it, half-hidden by the gloom of the shop, were various ancient trinkets that had once been used for gods-knew-what, and a large moldering colletion of ancient leatherbound books. Nono eof the other passerbys seemed the least bit interested in it, yet Flitch couldn't help but stare at the place in fascination. Should he go in? He hadn't decided yet. He had a little bit of money on him, but nothing that could probably get him anything here. So he stood, stared, and wondered...

The day was indeed nice, though there was a slight breeze. Junketsu bounded down the crowded shopping streets, her hair up in the usual pony-tail, however there was something different about her today. She had on a jean skirt and a white sweater vest, under which was a blue button down, and on her lips was applied lip gloss. "Heyy daddy! Look at this store! It's filled with loads of clothes! Ohhhh, I totally ike it! We should go in please...!?"

Looking slightly exasperated PJ followed in Junketsu's wake. they had already done a bit of shopping, and now she wanted to do more? "Uh, I can't stand much more of this." he though. However something caught his eye as he shook the long hair from his eyes, a child. with piercing blue hair. He looked so familiar... "Flitch!"

"Oh! Flitch! Daddy hold this." Junketsu tossed a small bag into her father's hands and bounded over to the child, a look of joy spread across her face. "It's been so long, daddy's been real busy doing stuff and I missed you lots Flitch!" Her arms were quickly around the child in a large embrase.

Flitch had barely enough time to look around at the familiar set of voices before he was all but tackled by the younger girl Sin'. Although she was smaller than him, the force of her hug caused Flitch to stagger back a half-step. Bone-crushing hug aside, Flitch's face broke into a wide grin, happily returning the friendly hug. "Junketsu! And Mr. PJ! How are you?"

Oh what a lovely surprise! He hadn't seen Junkie since way back when he was still a toddler, and meeting up with old friends was always a welcome event for the fish boy. "It has been a long time, hasn't it?" he responded with a quiet laugh. "Still, it's great seeing you guys!"

"It's real good to see you to Flitchy, it's been a real long time! We've been real busy everyday. But I missed you lots and lo..." Junketsu's eyes slowly wandered up to the window of the old, time beaten shop. Her smiled faded for a second as she tried to make sense of what she was looking into. "Um. What's in this one? It's looks exciting! Do you think it has magical stuffs inside it? Junketsu's english, while advanced for her age, was a bit lacking and she often made errors such as using the word "stuffs." But such is to be expected froma girl her age.

"well I'm very glad to see you again too Flitch, it really has been too long. As Junketsu mentioned we had some things going on that command much of our attention. Tell me how is your gaurdian doing these days?" Under his breath he added to the young sin boy... "If you want to go in there would you please take Junkie? She so full of energy today and I just need a rest..."

"Anvion's doing well," Flitch said cheerily. "We all just got back from a long vacation, so she's been happy over it. Well, aside from the fight from her parents, she's been good. I'm glad to see you're doing well, though. I'll be sure to tell Anvion I ran into you both today."

He listened to PJ's request, and only replied with a broad grin and a nod. Watch over Junkie? He'd be more than happy to do so! It wasn't like anything bad was gonna happen whilst they checked outt he old shop here. It was, after all, just a shop, though admittedly a neat one.

"I dunno," he replied to Junketsu's question. "You wanna go look with me? I was actually thinking of going inside when you both popped up. We can both go and let Mr. PJ go get a little grown-up time in..."

"Oh thank you Flitch, yes I would also appriciate it if you asked her to give me a call. It would be very nice to catch up after such a long time away. And yeah, thanks for taking Junketsu, Um... If you two need me I think I'll just be walking around that store over there." PJ pointed to a large men's clothing store and slowly back towards it, a smile on his face. "Thanks, and good luck with Junketsu..."

Junketsu watched her father slowly back away from them, she tilted her head to the side clearly confused. "What's the matter with him today? He's acting real funny..." Shrugging Junketsu eyed the store for another minute or two looking apprehensive. It was a very scarey looking store, but it looked kind of fun too. Perhaps she would find a funny new thing to play with. "Mhm, can we go in it? I want to go in with you!"

"I'll tell her that," Flitch said with a nod. He gave a wave to PJ as the adult backed away, the grin still on his face. Oh boy! Time to hang out with Junkie! This was gonna be great~ "We'll be good, Mr. PJ! Have fun!"

At Junketsu's question, the taller Sin' shrugged. "Dunno. Adults are funny like that. Now then..." extending a webbed hand, he pulled the door open, bowing in a very gentlemanlike fashion to Junkie. "After you, my dearest Junkie. You can lead the way in if you want. I'll just follow."

Junketsu smiled at Flitch and slowley walked into the shop. Looking around a bit she realized that it was quite dark, the objects seemed rather dusty, and there was no clerk in sight. "Oh boy Flitchy! Looks like we get to be all alone in here today! I bet we can find all sorts of near things huh?..."

Junketsu skipped over to a small lacquer table upon which was situated a small silver box along with various other things which Junketsu thought were of little interest. "Flitchy... it's so pretty.... wanna open it up?" At her sugestion, which she thought was brilliant Junketsu's eyes lit up, a look of curiousity shot across her flushed face.

Following Junketsu inside, Flitch glanced around, blinking so as to adjust to the dim lighting within. When his eyes finally adjusted, the blue-haired youth couldn't help but give a small gasp of delight. Wow! Talk about a neat place. Even from glancing about, Flitch could see that a lot of these things were valuable in some way or another. Call it instinct.

He moved over to the small silver box that Junkie indicated. "Dunno. Let's look then. No harm in opening the box up."

Junketsu's eyes grew even wider as her hand drew towards the box's clasp. She delecately unlocked it and opened the top. The box had a lining of red velvet, laying in the center wasa small bracelet, it looked plain enough and Junketsu's smile faded.

"Oh, I think it's only this Flitchy, wonder what it's made of, and what it's worth, wonder if it does anything special?!" Junketsu lifted out the bracelet and handed it over to the other Sin. "Um... can it do anything?"

Flitch took the bracelet from Junketsu's small hand, holding it up to the dim light so as to get a better look, squinting through his glasses. Hmm. It didn't look like much, but...

"I dunno if it's magic," he said, "but let me try something..."

Taking the hem of his shirt, Flitch scubbed furiously at the corner of the bracelet, until it began to gleam. "Aha," he murmured. "I dunno what it's made of, but whatever it is, it's all tarnished. A good cleaning will make this sparkle very prettily, I think..."

"Oh! That'll be real pretty. Here, lets do this to it, it'll mae it cleaner maybe? Junketsu drew closer to Flitchy, and when their bodies were near to each other she looked at him... Smiled... then spit on the braclet.

Quite proud of herself she proclaimed:
"Mhm, that should make it clean, which it gets pretty again lets look for something fun and magical kay?

With that Junketsu disapeared into a mass of shelves then called back to Flitchy: "Please don't loose me kay? It's dark, I don't like it alot."

Eeeew. Flitch was so totally NOT expecting the girl to spit on it. And here he was expecting her to take a shot at cleaning it. Oh well. At least the spit might work...?

Gingerly rubbing the hem of his shirt on the now spit-covered bracelet, Flitch followed Junketsu as she wandered deeper into the store. "I won't lose you," he called back. "No worries."

Huh. Something magical? Flitch himself had no idea what was or wasn't magical in here. Nothing had any price or information tags on them, so he had no idea on what was what, really. And the shopkeeper was nowhere to be found... pity. Maybe He or she would know a thing or three on these items. It was kind of sad, having all these neat things around you, and not even being able to tell what they were...

Junketsu tossed her head back at Flitch's call, she wasn't worried, he'd be right nearby her. Walking past another row of shelves and looking in all directions Junketsu failed to notice an elderly man, with a slight hunch, looking quite melevolent, and she walking right into himm causing him to drop a book he was carrying.

The old man looked from his book to Junkets back to his book, blood rising in his face. "Who are you? What are you doing here, nobody omes to my store...ANSWER ME!"[/red]

"Ep" Junketsu turned tail and ran straight into Flitchy's arms, she didn't say anything, she just buried her head in his shoulder and pointed towards the older man.

Flitch, caught by surprise at the sudden appearance of the old man and his rather violent attitude, dropped the bracelet, the small item landing with a dull thunk on the faded carpet. At almos tthe same moment Junketsu all but barreled into his arms, face digging into his shoulder as if it alone could save her from the angered old man.

Flitch himself wanted to back away from the old man and get out of here, yet for some reason he held his ground. Patting Junketsu on the back in a soothing manner, he instead frowned at the man who glared at them both.

"I'm sorry sir," he began. "We were just interested in what you had, and were looking around. If the fact that you have customers is something that bothers you so much, then we'll just leave."

He didn't really know where he'd gotten it. The courage to half-talk back, that was. Flitch was the type to ALWAYS attemptt o be polite to most anyone... yet this man irritated him for some reason. What, not let them shop? That was just ridiculous.
