I'm auditioning for a vocal ensemble, and the audition piece that I was given was "Tomorrow" from Annie. Would it be too much if I got really into the song, and perhaps put together a small dance for it? My audition is September 22, so I have the time. But I need some opinions first.

It depends. Is it a show choir? Or just a vocal ensemble, as in you stand in one spot and never move?
If it's show choir, I'm expecting you'll have to do a dance anyway. And if you stay in one place...
I'm thinking maybe no, although it would be a lot of fun and exciting, it would take away from your voice and sometimes they may be afraid you'll move too much while in a big group!
Or you could put together a dance and ask the judges beforehand?
