ok, i have a thirteen year old japanese fender and an older fender frontman. i need to know how old the are and how much they are worth. one of my x friends has my neck and before i kick his a** i would like to find out how much it is worth.

dude, its a fender. get the serial number off it and call them. simple as that.

Well the basics of Japanese Fender serial numbers works similar to the american series of the time.
S=Seventies
E=Eighties
N=Nineties
Z=New Millenium
so for instance:
E3xxxxxx = 1983 model
N5xxxxxx= 1995 model
See the trend? I don't know that much about Fender's amp serial numbers though. sweatdrop

Yarr. If your guitar is 13 years old, the serial should read N3xxxxxx or something like that (I'm not keen on the number of digits actually in a Fender serial number - the one on my Tele seeems to have more numbers than usual).

Tell us the letter and the first digit immediately after the letter and we can tell you what year it was made.
