Cadaver had been wandering the lands most of the day, watching as the sky started to darken as storm clouds rolled over the land. He smirked lightly as he could hear the sound of distant thunder comeing from the north. It would be a cold rain if the storm was comeing from that direction. Soon it would be dark and frightening. But to him, it didn't matter. Not like it effected him anything. Thunder couldn't hurt you, but lightening could. But he'd never been hit by lightening so he didn't fear it.
As he moved about, he found his way into the clearing. Atleast it smelled and sounded like the clearing. Though he kept close to the tree line incase the sky decided to rain upon the open area and he would need cover from the freezing rain. Autumn was comeing, then winter. He could tell from the storms that rolled in out of no where on a pretty constant basis.
As he stood near the trees, he looked out towards nothing. All he saw was darkness, except for a few faint glimmers of light comeing from auras of small animals that skittered here and there while they tried to find shelter from the comeing rain.

Floating on her large white wings, Death let the lightning strikes crackle around her body as she zoomed about the clouds. The wind pushed her wings to nearly knock her off course, causing her to rethink her abrupt flight in the air and look down at the ground considering.
It's not like it would be bad to land and take a break, she'd been away from Banhi for far too long as it was anyway.
Tilting her wings she slowly circled down with her legs out and landed on the grounds below, amuzed that there was no rain down here. Looking around with her pale grey eyes, the Soquili shook her wet mane and tail and adjusted her wings as she looked around for a nice place to rest. Things seemed much more quiet on the ground, like the calm before the storm.
Death liked it. ninja

Cadaver moved underneath a large gaggle of trees, keeping himself slightly conceiled. Well, as concealed as a dark colored Soquili with a white and black mane and tail could. His pure white eyes gazed out towards the darkness that he saw of the clearing. Though suddenly, a flicker of light landed on the ground and burned. Blinking lightly, he wondered where on earth that came from.
Then it hit him, it was probably a winged Soquili. That was the only logical reason really. He wondered if the wings were edible in the back of his mind for a moment. Then the rain started to pour down from the sky, lightening splitting the dark horrizon in half and branching out. His tail gave a quick flick as he moved a bit back away from the rain. He didn't mind getting wet, its just that water would probably be cold, unlike a warm summer rain.

Lifting her head as the rain poured down, Death spread her wings again and let them get soaked as she started to dance on the ground happily. She loved the rain, there was always something so tranquil about it that made her soul want to sing. With a soft smile she let the cold rain hit her snow white body and soak her black mane and tail completely.
"Aaa, the rain feels so... alive." She said in her ghostly voice as she finaly folded her wings to her back and trotted under a tree next to the larger Soquili she'd seen a short bit ago. "Don't you think cousin?"
Her grey eyes shimmered as she turned and faced out towards the rain again silently. It was such a beautiful night. ninja

Snorting lightly, he watched as whoever it was came towards him. Hearing their voice, he made out that it was a mare. Another one. Fun.
His pure white eyes turned to look at the aura that moved next to him, raiseing a pure white eyebrow. Flicking his braided tail, he stared off into the darkness where he knew the rain was falling. "I suppose...."
Perking his ears forward, he listened as another crackle of lightening filled the air with static. That one seemed quite close.

It seemed that all Death was meeting recently were stallions, it was rather amuzing to her that only men seemed to bump into her. Though there had been Halloween she was one out of quite a few.
Flicking her dark mane from one side to the other, she curled her legs under her and floped to the groud unceremoniously so that she could watch the storm peacably. "It seems that the lightning wants to say hello doesn't it? You know the safest place during a thunderstorm is out from underneath trees." She said in a matter of fact voice.
It didn't bug her in the least that the other was so quiet, in fact she was rather content that he was so silent. She liked the peace of rain to be un-sultried by words of others. Not that it ever was, Death got stuck talking a lot during rainstorms when she was with other Soquili. ninja

Cadaver watched as the mare's aura figure flopped down onto the ground. He turned his head to look out into the darkness again, only hearing the rain and thunder. Shruggling lightly, he flicked his tail a few times.
"Yes well....I'd rather get struck by lightening than die from getting sick." His ears flattened back slightly but perked again as he shook his head a bit. A few water droplets had dropped onto his muzzle and dangled on his chin.

"At least if you're struck by lightning and don't die you won't be struck by it again if you stay in the same place." Death said simply. Her grey eyes flicked up to look at his but she didn't say a word about how strange they were. Some things were better left unasked, as they were often rude or involved long conversations that Death wanted nothing to do with.
Spreading a wing out over her legs, Death turned her gaze back at the rain out in the clearing again. It was fun to dance in the rain, but she did have to take a break and rest her wings, she'd been flying for a day or so now. Not that flying was a problem for her since she was a wind soquili, but days upon days of it got a little wearing after a while. "Don't like the rain?" She asked quietly. ninja

Cadaver snorted lightly and raised an eyebrow as he turned his head to look at her, not replying for a moment. "Just because they say lightening doesn't strike twice doesn't mean it hasn't happened..."
He tucked his legs underneath himself and lowered himself slowly to the ground. Haveing been walking most of the day, his was slightly tired from standing at the moment. "I don't mind it....I've just seen an awful lot of it lately..."

Soft raindrops and heavy rain swam in and out of Death's hearing, the breathing of the other and the gentle swish of him laying down. Tranquility was everywhere when it rained. Death loved it all.
"That's true, but it's normally a factual statment." She replied after his statement, her normal soft smile never leaving her face. "I don't think that there can be a lot of it. The rain comes when it's needed and usually it leaves just in time to make us happy."
It was her way of justifying everything, or at least it was a justification Death style. ninja

Cadaver's ears perked slightly as he listened to her talk, though he didn't turn his head to look at her. His milky white eyes stared off into nothing. Darkness. Oblivion.
"Yes, well, where I came from it rained a lot." It really was his only explination as to why he had seen quite a bit of rain. Where he had lived previously was a very wet and storm filled land. It had periods of time where the rain just wouldn't let up, then short spells of dry weather untill it rained again as before.
