I just realized... we don't really see many Dwarves throughout the whole series. The only time they had a major role was in Suikoden 1, what with visiting their village and all. The only other time you encounter a Dwarf is when you find Twaikin digging holes at Budehuc Castle in Suikoden 3...
I dunno... Just a silly thought... sweatdrop

Suikoden always introduces a race and then just tosses them to the side in the other game.

Is Twaikin even a real dwarf? He looks nothing like the others.

I assume so. This is what it says in the Suikoden 3 Complete Guide:
"Dig, dig, dig, digging with reckless abandon is this Dwarf's belief. With his muscular body, he digs holes even in his spare time."
Even his title is "Hole Digging Dwarf."

it would only make sense that you don't see them in every game since most of them only live in the great forest mountains.

Did someone say Stallion? So you all finnaly admit that he does weild a True Holy Rune yes? About time you all come out of your denial!

About time you all come out of your denial! yes, he has a rune called the "true holy rune" but it is not one of the 27 true runes. i think itm was a mis-translation and the original japanese name of the rune was "the godspeed rune"

But it still doesn't mean it's a true rune By saying the words "True Holy Rune" and "not a true rune" in the same sentence, it's as if you're talking in opposites, isn't it? As said earlier by eyekon, the 'True Holy Rune' was a mistranslation.
