my band uniform is one of the ugliest things i have ever seen! we have 2 wear a tuxedo shirt with a purple bowtie! the over coat is padded like a football players and it is this really bad shade of purple with 2 gold buttons! the pants r long and gray and they r so cheap that they r velcrow on the sides! (ewwwwwwwwww xp )
are any of your band uniforms this ugly?

Ours are actually quite cool. I'd wear 'em as a school uniform! I'm proud to wear my uniform because it's so hot!

We look like rejects from the nutcracker as my friends like to say blaugh i think they are ok though, and i think we might be getting new uniforms next year biggrin

I kind of like our uniforms. They're very traditional, but still cool-looking. The shades of blue and gold in them are nice, I think. 3nodding

our is okay... the jacket is rather different... one sleeve is red as is most of the front and one sleeve is blue as is the back, and there is a patch of white between blue and red. (school colors btw) blue pants, and one of those evil hats... plus gantles...and they're really hard to zip by yourself... you literally have to have someone zip you up...
but they're better than our old ones.

(school colors btw) blue pants, and one of those evil hats... plus gantles...and they're really hard to zip by yourself... you literally have to have someone zip you up... but they're better than our old ones. That's what my schools new uniforms look like. Only, the colors are different and with black pants. Instead of red it's white; blue it's purple; and there's black between the two. This is much better than the old ones. We had purple overshirts with a detachable chest cover that went over the zipper. It was supposedly reversible but some uniforms had yellow backs and others had gold. We also had a gold cumberband.

well at least u like yours! because i dont even no how they expect us 2 play when we cant even breathe? cause when i play the clarinet the bowtie gets in the way and its really uncomfortable! stare but thank heavens i dont have 2 wear it anymore because were getting new ones next year! 4laugh

i like ours ..though the jackets are more like straight jackets and zip up rather than down they are still pretty awsome

My schools band was killed, but when we we're a band we didn't really have uniforms persay.. but for concerts, we wore these lighterroyalblue polo shirts with the school logo on it, and a pair of blue jeans.. the shirts are quite ugly; but I refer to it as my band geek shirt and wear it proudly.

Kaleira well at least u like yours! because i dont even no how they expect us 2 play when we cant even breathe? cause when i play the clarinet the bowtie gets in the way and its really uncomfortable! stare but thank heavens i dont have 2 wear it anymore because were getting new ones next year! 4laugh Trust me our old ones, we couldn't breathe (the things were like 10 years old... okay they were gotten in the 10th grade year of the assistant band director) and they looked... blah... the hats suxed, the jackets were evil... the shashes weren't used because we used caution tape instead. but we got new ones last year and they're better but now they're like straight jackets...

I love our band uniforms. I feel so important when I wear it. whee
The top is an off-white and the "trousers" are navy blue (same as our dinkles!). We have velcrow shields for them, one shield for football and the other for competition.
Our drum major's uniform is the best. Navy blue all around and two rows of golden buttons down the chest. Makes me wanna become one, if I could keep my hands in time for 8 + minutes. sweatdrop

Blah! Are uniforms might have been decent looking 13 years ago....but now....yack!
The orange coat is faded and the 12 or so gold buttons on the are falling off.... the pant are okay but we keep having to replace the supenders...
But the worst part? They're wool....why they picked wool I don't know. Mississippi it almost never gets cold enough for wool uniforms. Which means all the uniforms kinda smell because they have been sweated into for the last 13 years....
