It was interesting to see the promotional lineup for Fox for this Fall as advertised during the rerun festival last night.
Love it or hate it, The Simpsons will plow through another season. At least we get another season of Family Guy and American Dad to ponder over. I've yet to sit through more than two minutes of The War at Home, so I'm not going to comment on that.

The War at Home makes my eyes and ears bleed. I'm glad they are putting it on AFTER Family Guy and American Dad, so I don't have to sit through the end of it anymore.

What little of The War at Home I've seen reminds me of a poor shadow of Married With Children. That remains the benchmark for tasteless family life parody.

Dammit why are my Simpson voodoo dolls not working. I've been stabbing signs of END IT ALREADY all over the damn things >:/

The time approaches! I'll most likely take a shower during The Simpsons and hope that the new season of Family Guy is more like the first season. And American Dad has improved enough that I'll most likely watch it. Then off to bed for an early and depressing Monday.
I'm really not looking forward to the 11th.

In reflection, I found the new shows not as pathic as I feared they could have been.
The Family Guy episode was a refreshing shift, making good use of Seth's brand of socially aware comedy to discuss an uncomfortable and possibly dangerous medical problem that men have a hard time dealing with. Props to the writiers for that episode.

The War At Home is probably the worst comedy I've seen, ever. Not only does it lack humor... It lacks... Everything. It has Bad Actors, Bad Scripts, Boring Premise, and it airs after Family Guy and American Dad.
