Ancient stories of the Old kingdom. Do not worry about these. They are only kept here for reference and sentimental value

Alright, I'm about to write another quick story, and I figured D and I shouldn't spam up the Guild. So, if I see someone write a story that is over half my monitor, I will cut/paste it into here.

The door burst open and she entered the room breathing heavily, her hair a mess, and her clothes dirty. She stormed over to the couch where a man lay, either knocked-out from the beer in his hand, or just sleeping. She kicked him in the side, causing him to flail wildly and fall off the couch. "Gwah wuh zat vo?" He half-mumbled half-groaned. She glared at him and shook her head. "You were supposed to pick me up almost two hours ago. I just had to walk here in the rain." He shoved himself to his feet, and yawned. "Come on, it wasn't so bad. You needed the excersise." She punched him in the stomach, causing him to drop to his knees. "******** off." She told him, and stormed away to take a shower.

There was a the guy breaking something, followed by a knock at the door. "Hey! Get that!" She called from the bathroom as she removed her clothing. She stepped into the shower as she heard the door opening, and turned on the water. All other sounds throughout the building were drowned out, including the conversation at the door. She heard the door close, and finished her shower. Drying herself off, she called out to her companion to find out who was at the door. When she received no answer, she wrapped a towel around herself and walked out. "Hey dipshit, did you hear me? I asked you who was at the door." She walked into the living room, and saw it empty, even the beer can was gone. "Odd." She said to herself. "He must have gone somewhere." She turned around to head towards her room when she smelled something. "Wait. What smells like cleaning solution?"

She turned around, and looked in front of the door, where she found several large splotches of greatly whitened carpet. She turned around when she heard a noise behind her, just as a hand losed around her throat. She tried to scream, but nothing came out. With one hand, she clawed at the attackers hand, and with the other, started pounding on his arm. She could feel her lungs collapsing, and she was beginning to feel light headed. There was a loud crack, and she stumbled backwards. Her first thought was that she was free, but she still felt the hand squeezing her throat. She looked at the attacker, and saw that he was wearing a large black robe, his face overed. She looked at his hands, swaing slightly and her eyes starting to bulge, and saw that he only had one boney hand, and that the other one had snapped off. She stumbled forwards, and shoved the attacker, causing his hood to fall from his face. Her eyes widened in fear as she saw it, and she took a few steps backwards, and fell to the ground. She clawed at the hand some more, and then slipped away.

She awoke later in the hospital, needles in her arms, a breathing tube in her throat. She reached up to her neck, and felt her tender skin. She could feel the boney fingers still on her neck, but she knew that they weren't there. She left the hospital a few days later, and when she arrived at home, it began to rain. She looked outside the window, and lighting struck, revealing all that was outside. She saw the cloaked figure staring in through the window, and then her neck started to burn where the fingers were. She started screaming as loud as she could, and she heard the neighbors run to her door and start to pound on it. She could hear them yelling something, but she was screaming too loud to be able to tell what it was. After a few moments, the screaming stopped, and when the neighbor went inside, they found her dead on the floor, her eyes wide and her mouth open. The doctors said that she had screamed so loudly that her lungs had collapsed, and asked what caused her to scream. The neighbors knew nothing, and her death was dismissed. Later that night, as the doctor was leaving, he wondered what had caused the girl to die, and passed by the shadows of a tree. He felt a boney hand reach over his shoulder and onto his neck.

Should Have Taken The Bus

She was walking along the side of the road. It had been raining, and her hair and jacket were wet. She seemed preocupied, and didn't notice me pulling up to her. I reached over and rolled the window down.

"Hey there!" i said with a smile, "you look like you could use a ride!"

She looked in and smiled at me, "no that's ok, i only live a few blocks down this way" she said and started to walk again.

"Hey, no matter, i'm going down this way, headin to safeway." I stopped my car, and waited for her to answer.

"well, i only live a block from there, so sure why not?" She said as she opened the door and got in.

I started driving again, and she turned on the radio. there was some music on. Just then it started to rain again. Hard.

"wow, you really saved me, it's comin down hard out there!" she said thankfully. She pulled out a cigarette and put it to her mouth. "do you have a lighter?"

I started digging in my coat pockets, my hand brushed a cold metal object. My heart fluttered, i was filled with anxiety. "just wait..." i told myself "only a few more minutes" Finally i found the lighter and pulled it out. "here you go, got so much crap in these pockets..." i said with a chuckle.

She cupped her hand over the flame as she lit the cigarette. "ahh yea! after a long day at work, i needed that" she said as she exhaled a ploom of smoke. "I gotta tell ya, bussin' tables is harder than it looks"

"hah, yea i bet. i work down at the bank." i said. my heart started to pound again, "can i have my lighter back?" i said, my heart started pouning faster. She handed me the lighter, and i put it into my pocket. The cold metal object brushed my hand again. I grabbed hold of it and held it firmly. I started breathing heavily.

"you ok?" she asked concernedly. "you don't look so good."

"is this you?" i asked and nodded towards a building on her side of the road. She turned her head to look out. My hand came out of my jacket, and the metal object touched the back of her shoulder. She shook violently as a few thousand volts of electricity shot through her body. She was unconsious.

SIX HOURS LATER

There are only so many places in a city like this that you can dump a body. Most of them aren't very easy to get to. I've found most of them, and used most of them, but i always see that they get found within the first few days. So this time, i figured i'd take her to the cliff. The cliff is a place that ppl throw garbage off of, down to the dump below. it's about a 200 foot fall, so i have to be carefull.

After having some fun for a couple hours, i clean up the shed and load her into the back of my Jetta. Jetta's have big trunks. After a 2 hour drive, i fnally see the cliff up ahead. there's no one there. Lucky for me. I pull up, and get out of the car. Down below i can see refrigerators, and washing machines, and countless other discarded objects. I'm sure i'll be the first to dump an object like this here.

Getting the body out of the trunk is easier than it was to get in there, i don't need to be carefull about blood. They don't bleed if you stun them and snap their neck. and i won't have to worry about her coming out of the tarp or the garbage backs, because i used bunjee cords and rope. I drag her to the edge of the cliff and look down. It's a long way down.

I drop her head first. The tarp flaps as she falls. She hits the pile with a sickening thud. The tarp and bags held. I walk casually back to my jetta and pull out some garbage bags with some actual garbage and toss it down off of the cliff.

It's a nice drive on the way back. No cars on the roads so i swerve about recklessly. It's great fun. I get home and park in the parking lot. Back in my apartment i have some cold chinese food waiting for me.

I turn on the sci fi channel. it's some show about somebody balancing for thrills. "people risk their lives for thrills.... what has this world come too?"
I chuckel. I set down the chopsticks, and change the channel.

Comes Around

The sky was so dark that not even the moon or stars could shine. The air was cool and there was a small breeze. The street lights to the road shut off. It was past midnight, so to conserve energy, they were shut down. Trees surrounding this road provided shelter and a home for many animals. The road left an opening between the trees. And to reach the other side, animals would have to cross this road.
A furry animal, the size of a cat, walked slowly across the road. Its fur was gray and it looked like it wore a black mask over it's eyes. It was a racoon.
It smelled the road and slowly started crossing it. The air grew thin and its fur started to raise. Something felt wrong. The creature felt something. A feeling that it would get when light would shine on it. The creature turned its head.
The silver Sudan ran the racoon over. The bumper had hit it so hard that it's neck snapped. The body fell under the car only to be crushed by the tires. Gore and blood oozed exploded out of the body from the pressure. Bones cracked and organs exploded. The car continued on without even braking or stopping. The twisted exploded racoon was left to rot on the road.

"Oh man," David said to himself. "That was hilarious. Stupid creature didn't know what hit him. And I just scored myself 5 more points"
David pulled a notepad down from his car visor and added 5 points to his roadkill score. All together he had 147 now.
He had a twisted system where he would add 2 points if it was tiny, 5 points if it was small, and 10 points if it was big. He didn't risk anything bigger, because it might hurt his car.
David was always a fast driver. He loved speeding and got numerous tickets for it. But his parents were rich and easily paid them off. His license never got taken away because his dad had connections all over town. He would never get in trouble. He loved it.
"Almost home." David said with a smirk.
David's cell phone rang. He looked over to see who was calling.
The name read, ******** c**t," David yelled. "I ******** hate her! I'm gonna teach this b***h a lesson and tell her never to call me again."
He grabbed the phone and put it up to his ear. When he pushed the talk button the phone slipped out of his hand and fell under his ********!" David roared.
He reached under his seat for the phone. The car started to go off the road. <********!!" David yelled as he touched something sticky under the seat.
He looked up to see something walking across the road. It looked like a human. This was no animal.
David gave up on his cell phone and tried stopping the car. It started to slow down at an alarming rate. Stuff in the back flew forward. The cellphone under the seat flew forward and hit his foot. David looked down and removed his foot off the brake pedal. A bottle of Aquafina, which had been under his seat for several days, flew from under the seat and under the brake pedal. He tried reapplying the pedal but it wouldn't go down.
David screamed and turned off the road. His car was traveling at a very fast pace towards a tree. There was no stopping the car. All he could hope for was that his seat belt saved his life. He looked down to find himself without a seatbelt.
The car crashed.

Sunlight broke through the trees and gleamed over David. It was already morning. David laid on the ground on his back. He started to stir for a bit before jumping up. He had been laying on the ground for quite some while. He began to scream as he searched his body for wounds. There were none.
David freaked out. He walked in a circle mumbling and cursing. He thought that he had died. The car had hit the tree at such a high speed, yet there he was......unscratched.
"What the hell?" David said to himself. "Didn't I hit a tree?"
David sat down.
"Yes, you did hit the tree." A voice said.
David jumped back up. He looked around for the voice's location.
"Where are you?!" David demanded.
There was no answer.
David looked around until something caught his eye. His car. It was wrapped around the tree and ruined past repair. How had he manage to survive that crash, he wondered.
"Oh my god..." David muttered, "my dad is going to kill me."
"Why?" A voice said.
David jumped again. The voice had come from his car. He swallowed. Somebody was talking from around his car. David slowly approached the car.
"Who are you?" He asked in a trembling tone.
There was no answer.
"What do you mean, why?" David asked.
He had reached his car. It was totally destroyed. Surviving this crash must have been a miracle. Suddenly David got the feeling that his heart skipped a beat. He became very cold.
Inside the car was his bloody body. It was crushed into the car. His blood was everywhere, organs were squeezed out and hanging from some of the insides of the car. His head faced away from him, but his neck was twisted and a bone petruded from the left side. He could see a giant dent in the side of his head.
David turned around a ********!!" David gasped as he slowly turned back to look at his dead self.
All of a sudden David's dead body moved. The neck twisted with a bone cracking sound. His eyes were wide opened and bloodshot. His entired face was oozing with blood and a giant gash in the left side showed part of his brain.
"Are you afraid David?" His dead body said to him.
David backed away. A look of terror in his eyes.
"What are you?!!" He screamed.
His dead body cocked it's head, making more bone cracking sounds.
"What do you mean?" It said, "I'm you."
"You're not me!" David yelled as he backed away.
"Do you remember what happened David?" It said in a calm voice.
"I....I...." David started, "I remember hitting the tree...then next thing i remember was waking up on the ground."
"You died David." It said.
The body became limp. David suddenly felt alone. If he was dead, wouldn't he be in heaven...or maybe hell...
"I know what you're thinking" A low voice said from behind him.
David turned around to see a cloaked figure standing near him.
"You're wondering why you aren't in your so called 'heaven' or 'hell'. " It said.
"Who are you?" He said softly.
"I am life and I am death." It said, "I bring destruction and yet I bring growth."
"What's going to happen to me?" David asked.
The hooded figure sat down removed his hood. He seemed like an ordinary old man.
"Do you remember me?" The old man asked.
David held his head in pain. It was if the man was forcing the memories back into his head. A glimpse of a cloaked figure showed before his car crashed. The one who had walked across the road.
"You!" David screamed. "You're the reason im dead!"
"And you are the one who takes lives from creatures of this forest." The man said, with a little tone of anger in his voice. "You do not respect the dead. Instead you make a game of it."
"I'm sorry." David apologized. "I don't want to be dead.....I to want to live again!"
A tear slid down his cheek. His eyes became red and soon more tears started to follow. He began gasping for air and emit a sad sound. David was crying.
The old man watched as David got on his knees and cried on the floor, pleading to be alive again. The old man just sat there staring at him.
"I'll change my ways!" David cried. "I'll do anything!"
The old man stood up. His face filled with anger.
"People like you don't deserve to live!" He yelled. "You decide to do cruel things and you should live by them.....but all being deserve a second chance. I will give you life again. But you will not get your way. If you die once more. Your soul shall return to the planet, giving it the energy needed to sustain other living beings. One more chance....you get."
David got up and the tears stopped. Everything around him started to fade. The old man started becoming blurry. An evil grin appeared on his face.
"Thanks old man." David sneered. "I'll remember to send more animals to the afterlife. You killed me, and now they will all suffer when i get back."
The old man simply smiled. "What goes around...."
The world around David disappeared.

David's eyes slowly opened. The sky was dark. Neither the moon or stars could be seen. He was laying on a hard surface. He tried to move, but something felt weird. His body felt smaller...or like the world had got bigger.
He looked down at his hands, but they were no longer hands. Paws had replaced his hands.
"What the hell happened to me?!!" David thought.
David tried to speak but only sounds came out. He looked at his body in anger.
"I WILL KILL THE OLD MAN!" David thought "CURSE HIM!"
That is when David remembered something the old man said.
"He said..." David thought. "What goes around...comes around!"
A chilling sound of a motor sounded throughout the air. David turned to see the front of the car speeding towards him.
The green truck snapped and racoon's neck and the tires crushed its body. Just like the other racoon, this one opened up and exploded too. Insides were sent flying all over the road side. The truck did not brake or stop, rather continued on its way.
Out in the shadows, the old man stood there with a grin on his face.

Jon was his name, and running over things was his game.
A giant smirk ran across his face. Jon had just started driving a week ago and he already had gained another 4 points.
"Heh, stupid animals." Jon said, shoving a giant sub into his mouth.
He would add it to his point collection after getting home.

Make sure you read this early in the morning...right after your parents tell you to go to sleep twisted
Torn

Derik sat at his desk, the sounds of his keyboard echoing through his house. His parent's had told him to go to sleep, but he didn't care. 4 AM was too early to go to sleep anyways. He was talking with his friends over an Instant Messenger, another thing his parent's told him not to do. One of them began talking about old childhood stories that his parent's used to tell. One of them being that if you don't listen to your parent's, the Boogeyman will come to get you. Derik laughed as he read about this, remembering his parents telling him the exact same thing. He continued talking to his friends, the sounds of his keyboard echoing through his dead quiet house.

The Grandfather Clock just on the other side of Derik's wall began to chime. Once, twice, five times. He leaned back in his chair, and stretched his arms. He peered out the window, and saw a tiny bit of light coming in off of the horizon. Just then, he saw a small blur go by the window. He dismissed it, and went back to talking with his friends. A couple minutes later, he felt as if something was watching him, and turned around in his chair, just in time to see something blur past the window again. He shivered, and dismissed it once again.

At around five-thirty, Derik heard a small tapping sound on the window, and turned around. He saw a shadowy figure standing outside his window, smiling in at him, it's beady red eyes staring into his own. He stood up, his eyes wide with both curiosity and fear. The figure smiled again, and tapped on the window again with one of it's clawed fingers. The finger was the only part of it's body that was in any light, and it was a very dark red, covered in what appeared to be scabs and boils. He opened his mouth to scream, but no words came out. He tried to run, but his legs wouldn't move. He finally stumbled backwards, and leaned against the wall, horrified.

The figure tapped harder on the window, the sound from it getting louder and louder. Derik received a message from a friend, and went to start typing to him. "Help!" he began to type. "There's something outside my win..." Derik hit enter just as the window shattered and the figure leapt into the room. Upon a closer look, Derik found that the creature had catlike eyes, and small horns on it's head. It was bald, and it's entire dark-red body covered in boils and scabs. It advanced on him, and Derik staggered backwards, bumping into his webcam. The camera started up just as the monster leapt upon him, but the only thing visible on the camera was the shadows of the beast and Derik, and the only sounds those of ripping flesh. Remember the stories of the past, and take them to heart, for they may one day become the utter truth

MSN

Outside, the thunder crackled through the night sky. It was 10:24 pm. Nina talked to Jason on MSN. They talked about all their old memories, and everything that only they would know. It was about the times they spent alone and how much fun they had. But when Jason talked, he felt distant and not very talkative. He would take a long time to respond and would always try to change the subject to something. Nina tried cheering him up, feeling that he was blue. She would do anything to see him back to the way he always was.
She remembered a time where she had loved him. He did the sweetest things for her. She would try to spend all her time with him. That soon lead on to them dating. But that didn't last long. The relationship ended quickly and they went back to becoming friends.
Outside their homes and off the internet, they would hardly talk. But when it came to getting on MSN, they would talk to each other for hours. It was the one thing that kept them friends and prevented them from never talking to each other.
Nina had been sick and at home for the past 3 days. So she never even got to see Jason at school. But somehow Jason had always been online at the same time as her to provide her with company. She would ask him why he was not at school, and he would tell her that he just wanted to talk to her. It was more important then anything the school could give him.
Today seemed a little different. He seemed very distant. Usually he replied as soon as she said something. But now it took him longer. The smiling faces that he always added in his typing disappeared. He talked in a sad tone.
"I have something to tell you Nina" Jason typed.
"What is it Jason?" Nina typed back.
Nina watched as it showed that he was typing. This went on for a few minutes until the message, "I will always love you." appeared.
Nina blushed. She still felt the same feelings for him but never knew that he would still like her.
"I gtg." Jason typed.
"Night." Nina replied, "I'm finally healthy, so i'll see you tomorrow."
"I will always love you." Jason responded before signing off. The time was 11:45pm.
Nina spun her chair around and danced to herself. Tomorrow she was going to try to get back together with Jason. He was such a sweet guy, and she should have never dumped him. Nina got ready to go to bed.
A lightning bolt hit somewhere near her house. Nina turned and looked out the window. Outside she thought she saw a fading image of Jason. It scared her for a second, but then thought it was nothing. She layed down and thought about him, slowly dozing off.

Nina got to school as fast as she could. She had to see him and tell him how she felt.
Nina ran to his first period class.
She walked inside and looked around. The classroom was filled with tired and lazy students, but no Jason. The teacher, who recognized Nina walked up to her.
"I need to talk to you in my office." She said in a monotone voice.
Nina nodded her head and followed her to her office. She took a seat and wondered why the teacher asked her here. She got a bad feeling about all of this.
"This is about Jason...." The teacher started.
"What about Jason?!" Nina asked. Suddenly worried about him.
"Jason died yesterday." The teacher said. A tear went down her cheek.
Nina's eyes widened. Her jaw dropped.
"He was hit by a car 3 days ago." She continued. "He was rushed to the hospital where he was in barely alive. Yesterday, his heart stopped and he died."
"What?!" Nina yelled. "You've got to be joking me! I've been talking to Jason since 3 days ago! Theres no way he could have died! He even talked to me on MSN."
Nina held her head. This must be a giant prank. He couldn't die....This was impossible. She began to cry.
"When..." Nina cried, "when...did he die.."
The teacher got up and put her hand on her shoulder. It was if she was trying to tell her everything was going to be alright.
"Jason was announced dead at 11:45pm." She said.
Nina stopped crying. A look of terror appeared on her face. Jason had signed off MSN at 11:45. Could it be a coincidence?
Nina looked out the window as the teacher hugged her. The wind blew lightly, and standing outside she thought she could see a fading image of Jason, a smile on his face.

You

Hearing the thunder roar across the sky, you find yourself shaking a little. You couldn't remember the last time that you were scared by thunder, but that didn't matter. Thunder normally meant that something bad was going to happen, and you were very superstitious. You turned off your computer, and headed towards your bedroom. The floorboards creaked below your feet, something that they had never done before. You dismiss the noise, and continue down the hall. The hall seemed longer than normal, and you realize that the door to your room is actually getting farther away. You run towards the doorway, but it gets farther and farther away, until you can't even see it anymore.

You hear a whimpering to your left, and see a doorway. There hadn't been a door there before, but you still decide to go through. You feel the room shift below your feet, and you are thrown into the air. You see the room rotate below you, and then you crash towards the ground. There is a loud popping noise, and you feel as if you've broken your leg. You touch it gingerly, and you notice that there is something sticking out of your leg. You recognize it as bone, and pass out from the shock.

You awaken sometime later, wondering where you are. You find yourself sitting up in your bed, the birds outside whistling a happy tune. You realize that it had all been a dream, and swing your legs over the side of the bed, and step down onto the floor. A harsh pain shoots up your leg, and you fall to one side. You realize that your leg is still broken, and cry out in pain. The walls around you begin to waver and drip, slowly collapsing. A large splash of the ceiling falls on you, drenching you with white paint. The paint begins to enter the wound, causing a burning pain in your leg. You try to cry out again, but find that the paint is solidifying over your mouth. The paint begins to dry, and you find that you can no longer move. You can slightly move your eyes, and you see your parents enter your room, grinning.

Sometime later, you find yourself outside, next to similar white statues. Your parents are in front of you, arguing over what direction you will face. They rotate you, and you find yourself staring into the eyes of a statue that is filled with sorrow. You realize that this is what your life is reduced to, and try to cry, but find that you can't. You accept the truth, and continue to live out your life as the statue in front of your parent's house.

b***h

The sky was cloudless and the sun was bright as ever. It was like any ordinary day in Olympia. The town was active and there was only a small amount of traffic. A bird dove from the sky and landed on a perch near an apartment. It looked around and chirped a song. Suddenly an apartment door burst open. The bird flew away.
A teenage girl walked out. Her hair was messy, her eyes bloodshot. Her clothes were covered with the red stains of blood. In her right hand she held a bloody butcher knife, and in her left she held a chunk of blonde hair. She looked back in the apartment.
Blood was everywhere. On the floor, the ceiling, the furnature. The color and smell of blood filled the entire room. On the floor laid the limps and pieces of what looked like a girl. Signs of a struggle were clearly shown.
The girl ran out to the street, laughing hysterically.
"I killed her.." The girl laughed, "That b***h should have never slept with my man."
The sounds of car brakes being applied filled the air. The girl turned. A silver Volvo came out of nowhere and hit her. She rolled over the hood and lightly hit the windshield.
Two boys were seated inside the car. The driver got out of the car and started checking his cars for dents.
"My ******** car!!" The driver yelled.
The passenger got out of the car. He looked at the girl laying on the hood.
"Mike." He calmly said. "How bout the girl? She's covered in blood."
"Screw the girl!" Mike sneered. "That ******** b***h dented my car. If anything, I hope she dies.....Call the police Tim."
Tim nodded and reached for his phone. He suddenly froze when the sound of sirens filled the air.
"Woh." Tim said, putting his phone back into his pocket. "It was like they read our minds."
Mike and Tim watced as several police cars and one ambulance surrounded the car. Police officers came jumped out of their cars and pulled their guns out of their holsters.
"Step away from the car!" An officer yelled.
Mike and Tim slowly backed away from the car with their hands in the air. The police seemd to have their sites set on the bloody girl. One of them moved in cautiously.
He was younger then all the other cops, maybe a little older then her. He was most likely a new recruit. The cop walked up to the girl with his gun in his hand. She didn't move. The timing had to be right. His left arm stretched out and touched her. She could feel the warmth of his hand. Now was it was time.
The girl hissed as she jumped out of the position she was in. She grappled the cop, biting into his neck and ripping off flesh. The cop screamed in pain. She spit the gore out. Blood ran from the open wound. Cops ran to their fellow cops aide and ripped the girl off him. They restrained her, but she trashed against their hold, trying to attack all of them.
"Are you ok?" A cop asked the wounded man.
"GOD DAMMIT!" He yelled, using his left hand to cover up his wound. "I'm going to kill this ******** b***h!"
With his gun in his right hand, he aimed it at her. She looked at him with furious eyes. She wanted to kill him. She wanted to see his blood all over her. She wanted to torture him and listen to his screams.
A bullet was released from the chamber of his gun. It traveled at tremendous speed and ripped through her head. Everything started to go blurry.
The other cops immediatly let go of her and tackled their ally, telling him to calm down. He struggled and yelled. The sounds of everyone started decreasing. A medic who ran up to her looked at the wound.
"This...." The Medic said, ".....Perm.....Damage...Sh..."
Soon she couldn't hear anything. Everything went dim until there was only darkness.

Katie woke up in a cold sweat. She gasped for air. That dream was more real then the others. She was starting to get scared of going to sleep. The tent was quiet. She hoped she hadn't waken him up.
"What's wrong hun?" He said, slowly getting up.
"I'm sorry." Katie said, breathing heavily. "It was just another nightmare."
He hugged her and started kissing her neck.
"Peter.." Katie said. "I'm scared....lets make love."
She laid down and smiled at him. Peter smiled back and got on top of her.

The sun was rising. It was almost a new day. Peter and Katie's tent stood out in the forest. That is what attracted them. This was their forest. Intruders would belong to them. They watched and listened to what was going on inside that tent, a big smile on their faces. Their heavy breathing filled the air. But Katie and Peter wouldn't be able to hear it with all the commotion going on inside.

Katie woke up with a naked Peter laying against her left side. His head was against her neck, one of his hands was on her right boob, and his left leg was crossed over hers, leaving something pressed up against her side.
Katie slowly turned Peter over and got up. She was going to take a bath in the river. She opened the tent door and walked outside.
The sun was bright, so Katie covered her eyes. She quickly stretched and then made her way to the river.
Her foot touched the water, it was a little warm. She slowly made her way in and then submerged herself. It felt good against her skin. She surfaced and shook her hair. She laughed and started bathing herself. Her hands slowly washing over the burn scars on side. She remembered when her dad burned her because he found out that she was sleeping with many older men. Her laughs turned into tears.
Out in the woods they watched. Their eyes focusing right on her, grins turning into flat out smiles. They would make their move as soon as they saw their chance.
"Fufu...." One of them whispered.
The others chuckled quietly.

Peter woke up. He felt cold and something was missing. His hand squeezed the air. Katie was missing. His heart started to race. He needed her, he would be lost without her. She was his everything.
He began having trouble breathing. He wondered if she ran off and never wanted to be with him again. He needed love...he needed her love. Peter ran outside naked.
His eyes turned into a squint. He looked around wildly. She couldn't have gone far. He needed to find her.
"Katie!!!" Peter yelled.
Suddenly he heard the sounds of someone in the river. He ran as fast as his skinny little legs could take him. Tears filled his eyes when he thought of Katie running away from him.
Peter arrived at the river out of breath. He watched her standing there looking at her side. The sight of her naked body started the blood flowing down to his torso. He ran to her.
"Katie!" Peter shouted.
Katie looked up at Peter. He ran towards her, hands outstretched. She stood there and watched as he came at her. His hands wrapped around her and he kissed her. She saw the tears in his eyes. The kiss ended and he held her tightly.
"Why were you crying?" Katie asked.
"I missed you." Peter said, "I wouldn't have known what to do without you. At first I thought you left me. Then i freaked out and came to all these conclusions. Katie...I love you and I never want to lose you."
"Peter..." Katie said softly. "I love you too."
A smile appeared on their faces.
"Katie." Peter said, his face becoming serious. "I love you a lot, i never want to be apart from you...Will you marry me?"
"Peter!" Katie said, her eyes widening. "This is so sudden."
"Please Katie.." Peter cried. "We've been together since high school and I just never want to leave your side. Be my wife?"
The two of them held on to each other in a warm embrace. The sun shinning its rays on them and the river sending its cool water against their bodies.

They watched them holding each other. This was getting them riled up. They were getting excited.
"Fufu." One of them said.
"Fufu." Another said nodding.
There were 3 of them. They were big as giant men and hairy like apes. Their clothes smelled bad and their hair was curly and greasy. They all looked identicle. Two of them wearing glasses. One of them held a musical instrument. It was a banjo.
They were waiting for the sun to go down. So they could have their time to strike.
The one with the banjo started playing softly. They all smiled.

The sun had set and it was getting dark. Peter and Katie had eaten their dinner earlier. They were laying down in the tent, talking about high school memories. One subject was about their friends. They talked about all their old boyfriends. Before Peter became straight, he had always thought he was gay. When he realized that he only did it for attention, his sites were set on Katie.
Things were weird at first when Peter admited he was no longer gay. He lost many friends that day. His best friends became distant. They had always known, but for some reason they had all excluded him from their group. All the girls that Peter thought were his friends eventually thought of him as a sick creeper that they had let do things to them. They insulted and avoided him. Katie was the only one who stood behind his side.
"Katie." Peter mumbled, half asleep.
"Yes?" Katie said quietly.
"I..love...." Peter said before falling completly asleep.
She rested her head.
A cracking noise sounded outside.
Katie's eyes opened. The sounds of footsteps followed. They sounded like they were getting closer to the tent. She slowly got up and looked down at Peter. He was sound asleep. The tent door opened.
Katie turned to see a big figure standing there. The night made the figure impossible to see, but she could tell it was big and smelled. It was probably a bear. She started getting nervous.
Without warning, the figures right arm came hurling at her. She was hit in the face by something hard. The impact took place right over her left eye. Katie had no time to yell. The world started spinning and she fell to the ground.

Katie woke up in pain. Last thing she remembered was getting hit in the face by something.
A sharp pain came from her left eye. Her arms went to feel her eye, but were stuck spread out. Katie's eyes opened. She looked at her arms. They were tied to the ground and wouldn't budge. She looked down at the rest of her body.
All of Katie's clothes had been ripped off and were laying near her. Her legs had been spread and tied tightly to the ground. She was tied up and naked on the ground.
"What the hell?!" Katie screamed, thrashing against her restraints.
"I see that you are up." A voice said.
A big old man came out of the shadows. He had grey greasy curly hair. His clothes were tattered and he had a lot of facial hair.
"Get away from me." Katie hissed.
"Calm down young lady." The man said, "I know you're name is Katie, we saw you and your boyfriend and have been watching you too. But im afraid I haven't properly introduced myself to you. I am Bryan Dosta."
"What did you do to Peter!" Katie demanded.
"Mmmm Katie," Bryan said, "I love it when a women gets all fiesty. It just makes me want to bend them like a pretzel and eat them out. And even sometimes suck on their nipples...rawr."
"GET AWAY FROM ME YOU SICKO!" Katie yelled at the top of her lungs.
The man stopped talking and looked down at her with a serious stare.
"Where is Peter?!" Katied demanded again.
"Why, my sons had their fun with him and killed him." Bryan said.
The old man pointed over to the right at 2 younger versions of Bryan sitting and eating from a pile of limbs on the ground. Blood and human insides dripped from their slobbering mouths. Each of them had a face full of flesh. Peter's remains were scattered all over the ground. Organs, nerves, lungs, etc. It was all scattered on the ground. Bones were cracked and sticking out of parts of the body. Peter's head laid on the ground. It was still intact. A look of terror stuck on his face. White looking stuff oozed from out of his mouth. Both sons looked at Katie and smiled. Peter's flesh and blood in between their teeth.
Katie turned away. She couldn't look anymore. The feeling of vomit appeared in the back of her throat. She cried.
The old man began to cough.
"Now what should I do with her?" Bryan said, looking at his sons. "I fear I don't have much time left in this world."
"Take her fufu!" One son yelled.
"Then ******** her." Another sneered.
Katie looked up to see the old man removing his clothes. His fat and old wrinkly skin exposed to the light. His p***s was limp. He looked down with a frown.
"Scream for me Katie." He said, "I need a boost to get it up."
"NO!" Katie yelled. "I will not give you pleasure, you sick fat pervert!"
The old man kicked her in her ribs and Katie let out a welp.
Katie watched in horror as that was all it took to get it up. She screamed as it reached its full size.
The old man looked down at her with a twisted smile and slowly mounted her. Both his hands grabbed onto her breasts. They began squeezing.
"FUFU!!" Bryan yelled.
Katie screamed.
He began pushing. His pelvic thrusted. Bryan had put all his weight into her. It drived in far. Katie screamed in pain and thrashed against her restraints, but Bryan's weight made it impossible to move. She began to weep more then she had ever cried before.
The old man continued for 8 minutes before he came inside her. Katie's crying had not subsided. Suddenly the old man clutched his heart. Katie looked at Bryan with hateful eyes.
"Burn in hell old man." She hissed.
Bryan vomited all over her face. Chunks of flesh and unknown things flew out of his mouth and enveloped her. Before Katie could react to that, the old man fell down on her and was completly still. He had died. And he was still erect when he died. Katie could feel it still in there.
Katie began crying again.
"Why?!!" She cried. "Why is this happening to me? I was never a bad person. I never did anything bad."
Bryan's sons looked over at Katie and their dad. Evil grins appeared on their bloody faces.
"I'm hungry." One of them said.
"Lets eat them." The other said.
They both got up and slowly made their way to them.
Katie couldn't take this anymore. She bit her tongue as hard as she could. It dug in deep, until it completly cut through. A chunk of tongue feel to the ground as she bleed to death. Red blood oozed from her mouth and mixed with the vomit on her face. Her eyes rolled back and everything went dark.

Katie opened her eyes. She was naked in a black void. There was only light focused on her and someone near her.
Katie could feel her tongue again. She felt her face, there was no vomit or blood.
"Confused?" A female voice sneered.
She looked at the other person in the black void. It was a mirror image of her.
Katie's eyes widened.
Something was different though. This Katie had scars on her face. Her hair was all frizzy and dirty. And in her eyes she could see a nexus of hatred. Katie got a feeling that this image of her was evil.
"I had fun with your body for 18 years." The other Katie said. "I hope you had fun in that dream world of yours, because its time for you to return to reality and see the surprise I left for you."
Before Katie could respond the darkness started to envelop her. The last thing she saw was the other Katie waving at her with a crooked smile.

Katie woke up. She was sitting in a chair and people were on the otherside of a glass staring at her. Two men and three women. They sat there just staring at her. The room she was in was hard to see in. The lights were dim. She tried to move. Her whole body was met with restraints. They held her legs, arms, and head to the chair.
That is when she saw it. It looked like her in the reflection, but the figure in there was much older. She looked like she was in her 30's. She was wearing an orange prison outfit. But worst of all, she was strapped to something that looked like an electric chair.
"Flip the switch." A voice said.
Katie turned to see a cop with a scar on his neck smiling at her. His hands were over a big switch facing up. He pulled it down.

The Thunder of Ashcroft (Blue=Ending 1 Red=Ending 2)

The sirens wailed as Felix stood over the dead body. He hit it's chest a couple of times, trying to get it to live again. The sirens were getting closer. He looked around, there was nobody else inside of the store but him, and the dead man at his feet. "This does not look good..." He muttered to himself as he heard the cars screech to a halt out front. "Come out with your hands up!" One cop called out over a loudspeaker. Felix rolled his eyes. "What a chliche'd saying." He walked out of the store, his hands in the air. "It wasn't me!" He tried to call out to the cops, but halfway through the sentence, he was tackled.

The gavel's sound resounded throughout the courtroom. "The Court of Ashcroft finds Felix VanRoggen guilty of all charges, and is sentenced to death by Electric Chair. Bailiff." He motioned to the guard, and Felix was brought out of the courtroom. "You know, we don't get to do this very often. It's a real event for the media." He motioned Felix inside of his temporary cell, and locked it behind him. "Your date for execution is Tuesday. That's tomorrow. Kind of funny actually. You're convicted on circumstantial evidence, which doesn't happen often, and you're to be executed the next day. You must have horrible luck. I'm kind of sorry for you." The guard turned away, and walked out of the cell block. "********." Felix muttered to himself, and laid down on his cot. He closed his eyes, and listened to the rain start to fall.

Father Esteban Cortez finished his prayer for Felix, and motioned towards the guard by the switch. He bowed his head to Felix, and said "The City of Ashcroft bids you farewell." He left the room, and stood on the other side of the glass. Felix listened to the low rumble of thunder, and closed his eyes, trying to hold back reality. The Warden motioned towards the guard, and the switch was pulled. Felix felt the most horrible pain of his life. He felt as if every inch of his body was being pushed, pulled, and ripped apart. He tried to scream, but his mouth was jammed shut. There was a crash of thunder, and the lights flashed. The chair stopped dead, and Felix slumped into the chair. There were shouts, for the lights had gone out, followed by the frantic lighting of flashlights. The guard flipped the switch back, and walked up to Felix. He touched Felix's neck, and looked at the glass. "He's dead." He told them. The guard felt a slight pulsing on his fingertips, and looked towards the body. The pulsing grew faster, until it was going so fast it felt as it weren't pulsing at all. "What the..." The guard muttered.

There was another crash of thunder, and the guard was sent flying backwards. The clamps on Felix's arms opened, along with the ones on his legs. There was gasps and screams as Felix's head slowly raised up, and stared right at the Warden. His eyes were filled with rage, and small pulses of electricity were coming off of his hands. He stood up, and advanced towards the window. A guard leapt into the room, gun drawn. Felix looked at him, smiled, lifted his arm, and sent a flurry of lighting bolts at him. The guard started convulsing, and eventually slumped to the floor. People started fleeing the room, trying to find the doors in the darkness. The room lit up as Felix entered, lighting bolts flashing in every direction.

Felix walked outside of the Ashcroft Penitentiary, and dropped to his knees, letting the rain fall on his face. He tried to scream, but his mouth had fused shut. Policemen started to arrive, but he blew them away with blasts of lighting. He advanced on a policeman, who he remembered was the man that had tackled him outside of the store. He grabbed the mans face, and a viscious current tore through his body, causing his skin to melt. Felix let go of the man, and walked away, leaving him to die. He continued down the street, killing everybody in his path. The rain began to slow, and the thunder began to disappear. Felix slowly started to grow tired, until he had finally collapsed as the sun broke through the clouds. People started to gather around him, checking to see what had happened to him. He was pronounced dead, and buried the next day.

You hear the rain as it slowly begins to fall on the roof of your appartment in Ashcroft. After a while, there is a crash of thunder, followed by many others. The thunder happens too often for it to be natural, so you look outside. You can hear people screaming, and you see a man walking down the street, lighting flying from his hands.

It took some time for the city of Ashcroft to recupperate after Felix's incident. There had been a couple rainy days, and each time, the citizens were reminded of Felix. A year passed, and most of the people forgot about Felix. Then, one day, it began to rain very heavily. There was a crash of thunder, and Father Esteban Cortez, the only survivor from the Penitentiary, gazed towards the graveyard, fear flooding into his eyes. A bolt of lighting struck Felix's tombstone, causing it to shatter into pieces. Another bolt struck the ground in front of it, causing the dirt to explode into the air. Father Esteban Cortez rushed to the graveyard, and looked into the craters that were once Felix's grave. He found nothing, and turned to head back to the Church. He turned and ran straight into Felix, who pushed him onto the ground. Father Esteban scrambled to his feet, and rushed back into the church. He watched from the stained-glass window of Christ on his cross, and saw Felix enter the city. There was many crashes of thunder, and they abruptly ended as the rain died.

Which ending is better?

James Of Earth: Part 1

"How long have you been on the phone?! Go to your room and clean up before bed!!" James's father was in his mid fourties, and he was pretty strict.

"FINE!! i gotta go, my dad's being an a**..." James hung up the phone, and stomped up to his room.

"DON'T GET HUFFY OR NO TV!!!" His dad yelled. He had been in the military for years, so James definitly heard him.

"gah....." He didn't like cleaning his room, but he still did it. After shoving various items into his closet, and jamming it shut with a chair, he laid on his bed and stared at the ceiling. "Tommorrow," he thought, "i'm finally getting that damn game tomorow" He had been saving his money for weeks, and finally he would get the new Doom. He suddenly heard a booming voice from outside his door.

"LIGHTS OUT IN THERE!! GO TO SLEEP!!"

A hand reached in and switched off the light. "thanks...." james said. and he went back to thinking. He had mowed many a lawn in preparation for this day. and now it had come. He was too excited to sleep. So he laid there. Before he knew it he had begun to doze off, but he caught himself before he was all the way asleep. He was two thirds asleep. He couldn't move or speak. He and his freinds, had often spoke of this state of conciousness, and he was, in his own special way, overjoyed to be in it right now.

Suddenly, a bright light filled his room. He felt a strange wind rise up from below him, and with out warning, everything went dark. He awoke. He coulnd't move his arms or his legs, but he could turn his head. The room was very dimly lit, and there was something covering his nose and mouth. He thought he was in the hospital, because he could see various surgical instruments. He realized that he had regained movement of his hands and legs, but they were bound.

After a short struggle, and some flailing. James managed to break free. He looked around the room, the items didn't apear to be standard surgical items. He knew the difference because his mother was a nurse. He grabbed what looked like a pair of scissors, but instead was a single, double sided blade. Just then, he heard a mechanical noise behind him, he turned and saw the doors slide open. He threw himself into a dark corner and watched in complete astonishment, as a large creature entered the room.

It did what he figured was look around the room, then it waved a strange tentacle around, untill it pointed right at him. The creature slowly moved toward him. He swiped the blade at it. "STAY BACK!!" It's pace remained unchanged.

James lunged at the crature and stabbed it repeatedly. The only noise made by the creature were gurgling sounds as it's purpleish blood poured onto the cold metal floor. It's body slumped against James and it pressed him against the wall. What had been covering his face, was knocked off in the scuffle. James realized that he couldn't breath, and began to panic! He flailed around until he realized that it was an oxygen mask, an put it back on.

He laid in the darkness of the room for a few minutes, before deciding he couldn't just sit there. As he approached the door, it made that same mechanical hissing sound, and slid open. He wiped the blade off, on his shirt and used it as a mirror to look into the hall. There was nothing coming from either side. He picked a direction that he thought was most northerly, and ran that way down the hall. He came at last to a larger door than the one he came out of. It slid open with a hiss revealing a much larger, but equally empty room. In the middle there was what appeared to be a telescope, hooked up go a much larger computer console. A large array of buttons covered the face of the console, one of which stuck out above the rest. It was a large blue button that prectically begged to be pressed.

James had always been fascinated by scifi, and he knew that blue buttons were harmless. So he pressed it with much confidence. Suddenly, the room began to flash, and a pannel in the middle of the floor was illuminated. "What the hell did that thing do?" he asked out loud.

Suddenly his head began to hurt, as what he realized was a high pitched screech filled the room. It was like nothing that he had previously expirienced. His arms did their best to cover his ears, but it was of no use. The whole of his being was filled with the screech. He stumbled aimlessly around the room, untill his body suddenly jerked into a standing position.

His body acted on it's own. Suddenly every part of his body became stiff and rigid. His eyes opened, and a blinding light filled his vision. Suddenly, an extreme feeling of displacement filled his body. And then suddenly The screeching sound transformed into words.

Words, numbers, equasions, letters, blue prints, schematics, pictures of animals, large and small, and planets. All of this filled his head. Then, suddenly, and violently what seemed at first to be a planet, quickly zoomed away, revealing the entire massive scope of the galaxy sprawled out in every direction, as if he were looking at it, from outside. He felt as if the entire galaxy were a live, and he was watching it, move. The machine powered down, and he collapsed to the floor. He passed out.

A short time later, he was awakened by the ground moving below him. He was being dragged across the floor by 2 large Aliens, that for some reason he recognised as armed guards. Suddenly a wave of guilt filled him, as he realized that the alien he killed just a short time ago, was merely a scientist coming to make sure he was still sleeping from the sedetives. He came to the sudden realization that the aliens were talking to him, through telepathy. They were speaking to him through their minds, telling him all these things, and somehow he understood them.

They told him, that he had interacted with their Collective Information device, which was a complete record of all knowlege taken from every lifeform they ever encountered. Including him, even. After a few moments, the reached the room from which he had originally escaped, it was now brightly lit. They put him up onto a table, but didn't restrain him.

They told him to wait here. And they left the room. He tried to communicate with them again, but he realized that they communicated by touching with a special tentacle which transmitted their thought, to his brain. "so it was only kinda telepathy..." he though to himself.

Just then, he heard the routine hiss, as the door slid open. Another one of the aliens he now understood, as Balamorians, entered the room, and moved towards him. He didn't try to fight it, because he knew it was just a doctor. It slid up to him, and touched him with the "thought tentacle".

"Well, i hear you've caused a bit of trouble," it said into his mind. "and you even managed to hit the C.I.D while you were at it. Your head is probly killing you what with all the info that was just forced into your head."

"Yea, it hurts a little, but i'm fine" there was a momentary pause, before he spoke again, "why am i here? where is here?"

The alien cocked it's arrow shaped head, and then said, "we are currently orbiting Sol 4"

"Sol 4??" James was confused. Had they left his own solar system? The fact that he was no longer on his home planet, no longer shocked him, but the thought of no longer being in his own solar system, that disturbed him. "Did we really leave the solar system?"

"hahaha, heavens no!" the alien somehow chuckeled in James' head, "Sol is the name of the sun which your homeplanet orbits, and Sol 4 is the fourth planet orbiting Sol." This reasured James.

"OH! you mean mars!" James blurted.

"mars? oh, you mean your species names ALL the planets? hah, most do at first, but it's much easier to just name the star which they all orbit." There was a brief moment of silence, before the alien spoke again. "well, i don't mean to cut this nice conversation short, who knows when i'll get to have another one, but we must commence with the memory whipe now."

"Memory whipe?!" James said loudly. "You're going to whipe my memory?! WHY!?"

"Well, to put it simply, we can't have you giving all of our knowlege to your chief. We're not supposed to interfere with under-developed civilizations, we're merely gathering information." it said routinely. "well, if you'll remain seated, i'll prepare the instruments." It moved to a console, which opened up, revealing what looked like a gun.

Suddenly, the ship jerked to one side, throwing james, and the doctor to the side of the room. A loud alarm sounded, and lights begin to flash. Without warning, a voice similar to the doctor's entered his head.

"This Is The Captain Speaking. We Are Under Attack! Please Remain Calm, And Proceed To The Emergency Section Of The Ship!" Just as abruptly as it started, it ended. The doctor, regained himself, and grabbed James.

"Come on kid, it looks like you lucked out!" The doctor began to drag him from the room. James thought about trying to resist, but realized this would be best. They ran down the hallway. Yellow lights flashed, as the alarm sounded. Just then, the hallway ahead of them, exploded, as what appeared to be a large ball of metal, ripped through the ship! James felt himself suck towards it, but a door closed infront of him.

The doctor grabbed onto him again and began pulling him down another hallway. "that was the only way to the emergency section on this level. we'll have to go down to get there now."

James stopped, causing the doctor to stop as well. "I DON'T WANT TO GO TO AN EMERGENCY SECTION!! I WANT TO GO HOME!!" he yelled over the alarm. He was filled with various emotions. "JUST GET ME OFF THIS SHIP!! PLEASE!!!"

The doctor stared at him, and cocked his head again. "I could get into so much trouble for this...." he sighed, and began hurrying down the hallway again. At a T intersection, he took a left, and headed down an even longer hallway, than had previously been ran down. Minutes later, they came to a huge door, which slid open as they approached.

They ran into a ship hangar. The doctor stopped, and ran to a console, and touched it with his tentacle. His head shook, as he backed away from it. "we're preparing to warp out of here....." he said "space bandit's, they'll follow us away from your planet, so you'll all be safe....... but we're defensless." The doctor went silent after that, and then pulled james across the hangar to a small ship.

"this is an escape pod." the doctor said as they boarded, "i'm going to program it, to stay offline, until we've made the jump, and once the coast is clear, it'll take you home." he seemed a bit sullen, "BUT!" he blutrted "You can't give this ship to anyone! And you can NEVER tell anyone about this! If anyone but you touches this ship, it will self destruct." The Doctor grabbed James's hand and pressed it against a black pad.

"There, now it knows you, you'll have time to get better aquainted, but that'll have to wait. Also, before you get any bright ideas, it doesnt have enough push to break free from your atmosphere, we almost lost the probe we sent to pick you up, so once you're home, you're stuck." The docter cocked his head again. "It was nice while it lasted kid, i know you won't dissapoint me."

At this, he let go of james's hand, pressed some buttons, and moved toward the end of the ship. He reached his tentacle out again, and James grasped it, "Oh yea, my name is Vallard. It was a pleasure" he stepped off the ship. The ramp began to raise up into the escape pod, and James watched as Valard left his life as abruptly as he had entered it.

The ship shook as it was hit by more fire. James watched as the hangar doors opened, and the escape pod was sucked out. It floated weighlessly in space. James watched as he saw several smaller ships firing at the large Wrench shaped ship, from which he had just been jetisoned. Then, the large ship began to move, and suddenly vanished from his vision.

"Wow..... aliens, spaceships, and near light speed.....what a day....." James sat on a small table, and laid against a panel. Suddenly the ship came to life.

"Sensors indicate there are no other ships within scanning range." a robotic voice said. "Deemed safe for travel." The ship suddenly began to turn. James watched Mars enter his view, then exit again. The next instant, he was moving rapidly through space. "Estimated Time Of Arival On, Sol 3........ 2 months 6 days....... Preparing for Suspended animation of passenger." That was the last thing James heard.

Jack's Betrayal

There was a dull clunking noise as the guard walked below me, completely unaware of my presence. Taking a deep breath, I slowly released my grip on the window ledge I was clutching, landing silently on the grass. The guard paused at the corner of the compound, checking for anything unusual. I crept behind him, slowly drawing my knife, until I was within striking distance. My hand slid by his shoulder and next to his cheek. Clutching y hand over his mouth, I quickly drew up my other hand and pressed it against his neck. "You knew the risks." I told him as the knife slid through his throat. The man made a quiet gurgling noise and slumped into my arms. I dragged him off towards the bushes, and disposed of him below them.

Once inside, I began to check each room for the target. I encountered a few more guards and disposed of them in the same fashion. I found the target upstairs, sleeping in their be. "Target acquired." I whispered into my communicator. "Commencing termination." I reached into my vest and pulled out a pistol. I closed the door behind me, and attached a silencer onto the barrel. Pointing the weapon at the target, they began to stir. I quickly pulled the trigger multiple times, sending multiple rounds into the body. The target stopped moving, and I advanced. I slowly drew the bloodied blanket from the body, and found myself staring into the shocked eyes of a woman. I stumbled backwards, and knocked over a lamp. Some noises came from outside the room, followed by footsteps. I opened the window and slid out into the cover of night.

"I told you now women or children!" I yelled.
"I'm sorry John, but this action had to be taken." My employer replied.
"Ten years! I've been working with you for ten years! Not once has the target been a woman or child! Why now?"
"I told you John. This had to be done." My employer replied, cooly folding his arms across his lap.
"Who was she?" I demanded.
"Just an old...acquantance." He replied, a smile slowly spreading over his face.
"You make me sick."
"Well then. That's just your problem now, isn't it?" He stood up and walked towards the door. I leapt from my chair, and threw a dagger across the room, causing it to stick into the wall inches in front of his eyes.
"I'm not done with you Jack!" I called to him. He stared at the knife for a moment, pulled it from the wall, and dropped it to the floor.
"That's a shame." He told me. "Because I'm done with you." He walked out of the room, and I heard him say something to the guards outside.

Two guards entered the room, both carrying M16s. One made a hand signal, and levelled his gun at me. I quickly dove to my right, just as the flurry of bullets started. I drew my pistol, and fired off a few rounds. The room began to fill with dust from the walls, and then all of the shooting stopped. I waited for movement and sound, but heard nothing, not even the breathing of the guards. I found them lying by the doorway, one with blood oozing from just above his left eye, the other with his shirt covered with blood. I left the room and found the building deserted, meaning that Jack had escaped.

I dropped from the rafters, landing right behind a guard and snapping his neck before he could react. Ten down, one more to go. I advanced up the staircase, and turned into a hallway. There was a guard next to a doorway, but he had a bullet wound between his eyes before he knew what was happening. I shoved his body away from the door, and slipped inside the room. I looked around for a moment, and sat down in a chair next to a bed. After a while, the sleeping person awoke from their slumber. They sat up, blinked a few times, and then revealed a shocked look on their face. I leaned close, knife in hand, and whispered "Hello Jack."

The Sad Story, of Luis - Part 1

Hello, my name is Luis. Right now, i am sitting on the docks, looking
out to the expansive sea. It's about 5am in the morning, i've just
made a shocking discovery. There is really no way to explain it, but to
start all the way from the beginning. It all started about a year
ago...

I had gotten home from work a little early, and had some words with my
parents. I don't remember about what, but my mom and dad were angry,
so i decided i should leave. I threw something on, and left. On my way
out, i tripped and fell, I wasn't too happy, but i picked myself up,
and started for my car. But i heard a strange noise.

I looked around, but it was getting dark, so i couldn't really see
anything. I noticed some leaves moving in a bush, so i slowly crept up
to it. The leaves continued to move.

"Hello? is anyone in there?" i said, shakily. i was getting nervous. I
heard gurggly noises coming from the bushes, so i backed off. I figured
it was a possum, but just then the bushes erupted! And out flew a small
man, about the size of a midget. But he wasn't a man, he had four legs,
and beaty, glowing yellow eyes, and a scar of the letter "T" on his
fore head.

"WHAT THE HELL?!?!!" i let out a scream, as i leapt backwards. The
little man began to run at me, so i got up and ran for my car! The
door locks were on, and i didn't have time to unlock it, so i ran, as
fast as i could away from the little beast. It kept right up with me,
i could hear it breathing heavily as it chased me!

"heehehhahhahahhehehheheheeeheeheeheeh" it laughed quietly as it
barreled after me. I was running as hard as i could, i had made it down
the road, and i turned the corner. i could feel my legs burning. but i
knew that i could make it to the fence. A ROOT!! i hit the ground hard,
and my face landed in the dirt. It was on me! i rolled over, and kicked
it in the stomach, it flew back, but was right back on me, i put my
hand up to block it's mouth, but it's skin Burned me!!

"AAAAAAH" i screamed.

"eeaaahhh" it mocked. With it's small hands it grabbed at my neck, but
only undid my shirt. It spat on me, and it smelled familiar, but i had
no time for nostalgia. I reached up, and grabbed a loose rock, and i
smacked it in the face. It hit the ground and began to shake. I hit it
again and again. until it stopped moving. i collapsed on the ground and
passed out.

Some time passed and i woke up, the little b*****d was gone. i stumbled
back to my house, when i heard it again! i turned and saw it running
at me, i quickly opened my car, and got in and backed out, it was still
running, so i ran it down! i backed over it a few times. feeling
confident that it was dead, i pulled in and parked. i went inside and
saw my parents sitting on the couch.

"how was it?" they asked coldly. knowing they would never believe my
story, i simply replied "fantastic", and went down to my room and layed
down. A few minutes later my mom came in.

"have you been drinking lu?" she questioned, "i smell alcohol on you!"

That's what that smell was! i pulled myself up to a sitting position.
my hand hurt from the burn.

"ow..my hand.." i complained.

"what happened to your hand?" she asked concernedly.

"uh....i burned it...."

"on what?"

"a....pan..." i lied. i thought it better not to worry her.

"oh...the alcohol, were you drinking?" she asked again, sounding
more angry with each delayed second.

"oh, no some got....spilled on my coat."

"oh" she said "well, next time don't let it happen"

"yeah," i replied, "next time, i'll bring some protection." i heard her
let out a sound of disgust, i figured her and dad were fighting.
