"Mommy, can I have a sleep over?" The sidhe (who had been severely punished for the levitation of a certain pretty man) asked timidly. She hadn't seen any of her friends in a long time and it was quite obvious that she was getting cabin fever. The gardens were enough, usually, but it didn't seem like they were doing the trick at the moment.

Ianna thought a moment, "Well, who do you want to invite?" she asked, looking over at her daughter from behind the book that she was reading.

"Uhm. Zah, Yashi, Lee, Mal, Xtol and Kishi?" She named all of the older children. Zah she didn't really remember meeting but Yashima liked him so...

The silver haired woman nodded, "Sounds decent enough. We'll go send out invitations, then."

~

The invitations in the mail, all signed personally by the young child (with a lot of help from her mother with the proper letters) was giddy. The past two days had been spent preparing lists and plans for the party - and the Sidhe couldn't wait for the fun and games to begin. But still, she had an entire week to wait.

------------------------------------------------------------------

OOC Notes:

This sleepover will start on Friday, September 8th and run until Thursday, September 14th. ICly, this will last only the 8th, 9th and 10th of the month. The extended date is so everyone can continue to RP. The 8th and 9th will be the first night. The 10th and 11th will be the second. The 12th and 13th will be the third. The 14th will be the morning they leave. Please do not post until I write the opening post on the 8th =)

Children will be in attendance without their guardians (Meaning Malen and Ianna get to handle all 6 brats alone >D).

So, a week passed and the day that the sleepover was to begin had finally arrived. The young child's eyes glanced back and forth at the clock. It was 12PM exactly and the children were supposed to be coming soon.

Her room had been prepared and the Headquarters had stretched (with much work from her elder sister who had returned) to be able to accomidate the children that would be showing up.

"Mommy! Everything's ready, right?"

"Yes, Kay. The Fridge is in working condition and the movies are stacked up and I've kicked Malen out to go get some things for dinner. I made him promise to cook dinner for us all."

The sidhe beamed, "Awesome!" and went back to waiting rather impatiently. Who would be the first to arrive?

Neveah was, needless to say, quite baffled when the invitation for a slumber party turned up in her mail box. She was even more surprised to read it was from someone whom she was pretty sure Zasalamel had not yet met, nevermind heard of. The butterfly had seen the girl once before, but Zah...never.

Still, who was she to turn down making a social butterfly of the socially outcased Drow son of hers?

So, on the day and time given on the invitation, Neveah showed up with Zasalamel alone...she managed to talk her old comerade into babysitting the deer twins until she got back. Despite this being the first time Neveah would be parted from her charge, she didn't seem to break a sweat over it.

Zasalamel, on the other hand, was deathly nervous, but he managed to bite his lips and make only the occassional whine of protest over the whole sleepover thing. He'd be at a girls house. All weekend. Without his mother! The horror! The WORST thing that could ever happen to him! Of course, he didn't know there were other boys going...as far as he knew, it'd just be him and the girl he'd never met.

And now, as he stood clinging to Neveah's hand infront of the looming front door of his weekend torture, he buried his face into Neveah's legs and whined. "Ilhar...Nau ssinssrin ulu alu...Nau ssinssrin ulu alu...!" He repeated pathetically, on the verge of tears by now.

"Aww, sweetheart..." Neveah keened out, picking up the whimpering dark-skinned child. "It'll be alright, you'll see! Be a good boy for Ilhar, okay Zasalamel?" Of course, Neveah had grown to know that 'Ilhar' was something like 'Mother', so she used it.

As she comforted the whimpering Drow, she wandered her way into the Headquarters.

Coailiann met Neveah and Zasalamel there happily wearing something OTHER than a fancy dress, for once. In fact, she was actually wearing a pair of denim pants and a fancy looking silk shirt.

Why? Well, who wanted to wear a fancy dress to a party with a bunch of toddlers and her best friend (who may not be her best friend any more?) where it may get ruined?

"Hello!" She said cheerfully, brushing away stray wisps from her face. The rest of her white hair was pulled back in a braid crown, leaving her hair up and making her a little less feminine looking. Her mother had insisted when she found out a Drow was coming.

Kishi didn't quite see the point of having been invited to the sleepover after all she lived here, still she supposed it would be fun to sleep with a whole bunch of others and stay up late and play games. We'll it would be fun as long as no one fought so hopefully everyone who showed up would get along.

While she didn't look girly , Kishi had for put some thought into her appearance., well at least enough so that the clothes she wore were ripped, stained or covered in dirt. Most people wouldn't call a clean shirt and jeans putting thought in your appearance. Still she wasn't mucky or grimy and she'd even cleaned all the fingermarks off her wand which she refused to go to the sleepover without.

At the sound of the portal activating she quickly left her room and ran down the hall to see who was there. It couldn't possibly be her father since he'd only just left. Upon spotting Zah, Kishi squealed, her friend had grown since she'd last seen him and he looked even cooler than before . However he seemd upset and that was a bad thing ." Hi Zah what's wrong can I help?" If someone had upset her friend she'd give them a good firm whacking with her wand untill they apologised

Xtol's golden eyes watched as the tanned hand clutched and unclenched the door to the shoppe. A look of intensity was driven deep into the red heads eyes, though she still didn't seem able to will her self to twist the knob. She suddenly clenched her eyes shut and twisted the knob, throwing the door open. The bells announced their large entrance, and Airaka jumped back nervously.

Her eyes scanned the first room of the building, then glanced toward were she had left Xtol, only to find the boy had left. Only after a few moments of over dramatic searching, she spotted the dragon boy inside, leaning on his wooden sword as he glared around the area. His eyes were currently on Airaka, make a shiver shoot down her spine, before she followed him inside.

Going to the headquarters was not something Airaka had been looking forward to for a while. Though, because of the sleepover, and Xtol's cold looks, she had had to escort the toddler to the headquarters. Her sandled feet slide quietly through the wooden floors of the headquarters, sneezing once or twice and stirring up more dust then had already been set. Quickly, her hands curled about the portal door, tugging it open for the child and herself.

A second later the two arrived in the headquarters, Airaka letting off four sneezes, releasing the remaining dust that hid in her nostrils. She wiped her nose on her sleeve, then bowed at the waist, before raising her eyes to scan the room. A women, three kids, one who she couldn't remember, and Ianna. No Malen, yet, so she was safe for now. She had to get this over with quickly. Airaka raised her hands taking a hold of the sleeping bag with both hands.
"I brought a sleeping bag because you didn't specify if he needed one or not."

She turned to Xtol lowering herself to his size, and held out the sleeping bag for him. Xtol's small fingers clutched the fabric of the sleeping back, pulling it to his chest.
"You have my phone number still, right?" she asked of the boy.
"Yes," he responded, sternly.
Airaka grinned warmly, placing a hand on his head and cheerfully ruffling his hair. The dark looks from the boy had her retracting her hand back to herself, and straightening herself back to her feet.

Xtol turned golden eyes toward the other children. Coailiann, Kishi, someone. His mouth opened into a wide yawn, small pointed teeth showing. Neither Kishi, nor Kay had grown like he had, which brought a small smirk to his face. Though, he wasn't really as big as them. He turned his attention to the other boy. Black skin, white hair... Purple eyes. Xtol quickly turned away, staring back at Kay and Kishi.
"Hi."
His voice sounded slightly more cheerful then his former dull and harsh tone with Airaka, as he steadied himself with his tail only slightly curled around Airaka's leg so to keep himself from falling.

Zasalamel's grip on Neveah only tightened when a girl walked over to them. This must be that girl he'd be tortured by all weekend! "Ilhar...Nau ssinssrin ulu alu..." He tried once more, but it was a futile attempt...he was detached from his Guardian and placed on his rear on the floor infront of the girl.

"Hello, Coailiann! You've gotten bigger since I last saw you...You're so cute!" Neveah complimented the girl, acting as though she didn't notice the way Zasalamel was still quietly repeating that Drow mumbo-jumbo from his seat on the ground. "I have his bag here, and a compiled list of Things that make him scream, to save a headache." Because spending a weekend with someone like Zah could possibly be a very, very bad thing.

Zah had given up trying to tell his Mother he didn't want to go. Instead, he stared shyly at the girl through the shadows of his low hood, gumming on the pad of his thumb and trying his very hardest to disappear from the place, or to at least make himself look smaller than he really was by curling his limbs in tight against his torso. Then, Kishi came in. Some relief flooded over him, but his mind still told him that even though Kishi fought with him for fun, she was still a girl.

Further relief came when another boy walked in. Good, he wouldn't have to spend the weekend surrounded by girls! With a slow wave and an equally slow shake of his head in response to Kishi, the Drow toddler nonchalantly shifted a little closer towards the other boy. Right now, he didn't notice the boy's tail or scales or wings or anything unusual about him...Zah saw him as a boy and a comrade of sorts. That was good enough for him!

"Oh look Zah, now you'll know somebody here!" Neveah tried one last time to cheer him up, after giving out a round of greetings for those who had entered. But when it didn't seem to work, she just turned back to Coailiann. "When should I pick him up, again?"

((I'm going on the assumption that Pat explains Yashis issues to Kishi in the other RP (because he will, if we get this far) to bring Yashi in as promised.))

"I don't WANT to, tousan!" Yashis voice was a harsh snarl in the hallway. Patrick ignored it, though, and there was a brisk knock at the Kays bedroom door. It swung open once again to give a picture to an irate-looking little fox-kit and his smug-looking father.

"Sorry we're late, Princess~" He called towards Kay, glancing around the room curiously. "See, Yashi? Not ALL girls. And you have Kay here!" Patrick was unaware over Yashis and Kays current, strained relationship. All Yashis fault, but STILL.

"And Neveah! Hi, there, hun. It's been forever!"

Yashi, still scowling, slowly started edging towards Xtol and Zah as well. It was unconcious... he hadn't seen his drow friend and he didn't know the wevryn... but they were male. And Kishi was still a girl. So was Kay. It was all very suspicious to him.

Coailiann eyed her younger sister for a moment. Why did she invite her again? Oh. Right. She lived here and it wouldn't be polite not to do so. Besides, she wasn't THAT bad...That was admitted with a grudge and she simply smiled.

Daddy wanted her to be polite.

And when Airaka showed up, Kay couldn't help but smile. She hadn't seen the wyvern or his mother since the whole Baby Making incident. Had he GROWN? "Hi, Xtol! Hi, Airaka! Sleeping bags are not needed, really, but if the others ever wanna just pull 'em out and put 'em in the lobby and watch the big TV it'd be nice for him to have his own!"

She was sure there were some extra sleeping bags SOMEWHERE in this large place. If not, she wondered if the magic fridge would make one? Probably not. And if it did, it'd likely be made out of cheese.

Or chocolate pudding. Wow, that would be an interesting one.

And then Neveah spoke and the young child lifted her head to look at her, "Thank you, Miss Neveah," she spoke politely, giving a little curtsey, "For the thought and the compliment. I'm sure he'll have fun...And...Uh...Ten in the morning!" she chimed, thinking that time as good as any.

Kay paused as she saw Yashi and her smile widened. He had come! Did that mean that he didn't hate her anymore?

IT HAD to! Oh, he loved her again! Giving a happy little bounce, Kay moved over to them and hugged Patrick before turning her attention to the foxkit. He didn't look happy...She'd have to change that!

"So many people! This is going to be FUN...We can be as loud as we want, too. Mom said she soundproofed her room for anything but really loud screaming because of pain or something and the only other person to worry about doesn't matter."

She meant Nic, of course. He could deal with the noise or get out for all she cared.

Kishi was somewhat taken aback by Zah's less than enthusiastic greeting. Uttering a sigh she turned her attention to the new arrivals. Xtol was a friend and now an even bigger one. " Hi Xtol" She replied. She was glad to see the draconic boy becuase if all else failed he was the only one who might actualy enjoy her company right now.

The arrival of Yashi made Kishi nervous and she backed away from the obviously upset fox. Their last meeting had taught her that she was not going to be one of his favorite people and she did not want to rsik ruining her sister's sleepover with fighting.

Airaka

Xtol blinked at the two boys, surprised by their inching towards him. He uncurled his tail from Airaka's leg, and wiggled his feet so he was a little bit further away from them. His eyes shone with bright confusion, though he turned his attention from the drow boy to the older boy. He had a tail, and weird ears. And he seemed just kinda familiar…

Airaka smiled nervously at Patrick and the other woman, and raised her hand in a almost half wave, before nodding her head at Coailiann. The other woman seemed more cautious then she had, but then again, Xtol had been much more quiet since he had become a toddler.
"Alright. I'll be back at ten. That okay, Xtol?"
The boy turned his golden eyes away from the fox-boy to Airaka, and nodded his head, simply stating,
"Go."

The red heads face flushed and her nervous grin returned. Her mouth opened and closed, and her fingers twitched, her nervousness of leaving the boy alone for so long finally showing through her pervious calm appearance. Her mind seemed else where, imagining all sorts of horrible things happening to the boy, when he poked thigh with the tip of the sword.
"Go." he commanded, again.
The woman returned to this world, and blinked down at Xtol one last time, before nodding her head.
"Be good and have fun. Bye," she replied, before turning around and pushing open the door.
She stood there, keeping the door held open for Patrick and the one named Neveah.

Xtol turned his eyes back to Kishi and Kay before him, giving the two of them an almost expectant expression. He had completed his job, getting Airaka out of the way, now they had to explain what this sleep over thing was, and why he had need to bring so many things. Which reminded him.. He let the sleeping back drop to the floor and then turned his attention to his back pack. He had practiced getting the thing on and off, it was so difficult with his wings. Both of his small hands tugged at one side of his back pack, attempting to pull the thing off. He had almost fully succeeded in taking the thing off when he lost his balance.

His body tilted towards Zasalamel's, and his tail dropped the wooden weapon, shooting out, and latching on to Kishi's leg in an attempt to regain balance. Yet his balance didn't want to seem to want to come back, and his wings spread out wide, as he fell on to the drow boy. While the drow boy seemed fairly taller then him, Xtol was most likely the heavier one of the two. He felt his ear slam into the boys shoulder, and clenched his eyes shut, not having the time to think.

"Ten. Okay, I'll see you at Ten, buddy." Neveah leaned over, ruffling her little Drow's hood, since ruffling his hair would most likely deafen people. Of course, she got a whimper of protest in return, but the Butterfly woman just couldn't coddle him forever. Besides, this event could either help him realize that its irrational to be afraid of girls...or of course it could completely strengthen his fear of them.

Yeah, Neveah decided not to dwell over the latter, and was thoroughly convinced that she deserved a weekend off. She trusted Ianna to handle the Drow...after all, the woman had gone into the Underdark for him.

Waving goodbye to everyone, Neveah turned...and met face to face with Patrick and a very, very grumpy-looking Yashima. "Oh, Hello! It has been forever, hasn't it?" The butterfly smiled, remembering to set Zah's bag and wand on the floor near him. "Well, since we're all leaving...wanna go drinking or something?" She posed the question to Patrick and Airaka. It had been a long, LONG time since Neveah drank anything.

Zah's purple eyes stared hard at Neveah as she moved to leave, then up at Yashima. Of course now he brightened...His friend was here! Maybe the weekend wouldn't be so bad, now! The Drow was starting to stand and almost about to call out to Yashi to get his attention...but something urgently begged his mind for attention. Turning to see what it was, he was only lucky enough to see the wyvern start to fall towards him...unfortunately, it was much too late for him to move. With a cry the Drow went down under the weight of the wyvern...he himself didn't have the mastery of balance to save either of them.

He'd fallen in such a way that made it difficult to breathe...and of course once he shook off the initial shock of the fall and realized this, he started yelling at the other boy. "TIR!" He shrieked desperately, trying to get himself out from under the wyvern. "Inbau tir!" He cried out again. "Inbau tir NIN!" Of course, his cries didn't help with his already limited breathing ability.

The fall had also knocked Zasalamel's hood off of his head.

Kay recieved a tight hug from the dark mind, stroking at her hair. "You're looking gorgeous, Kay." Patrick smiled, dipping down to kiss at her temple. "Don't mind Yashi - he's turned into a total grumpy buns and isn't too fond of girls. Just be patiant with him, ok? And - there's a present for you in his bag. So be a good girl."

Neveahs voice made him glance up through, eyebrows arching. Well! "Drinking?" he blinked, giving Airaka a grin as well. "Well, Airaka, you have a bossy little sprogglet there. I didn't know he'd even grown, hun! He's big but.. bossy. Yashi is too. He's grumpy too."

The fox got a grin and a blown kiss from the scientest, "You be GOOD, Yashi! Your stuff is right outside the door and don't you DARE be mean to any of those girls, ok?"

Yashima ignored his tousan, twisting around slightly just to see Xtol topple onto his little drow friend. Golden eyes widened and then slammed into narrow slits, pushing the wevryn off of Zah and hauling the drow up against his chest. "It's okay," The kitsune demurred against the others head, pulling the hood down over his eyes.

"Are YOU hurt?" His chin jerked at Xtol, moving to crouch by the scaled child. "Why did you--oh." Kishi was eyed with wariness but he didn't attack her. He didn't snarl or jump back - she wasn't sneaking up on him this time. It made it all better, really.

PostPosted: Thu Sep 14, 2006 11:22 am

Kay smiled and hugged Patrick back, giving a small nuzzle into the familiarness. She hadn't seen him forever and he had always been her hero, really. Her 'Trick. At the kiss, the sidhe flushed with pleasure and beamed up at him, "Thank you, Trick," she murmured, hugging him yet again.

Then present registered and she restrained herself enough not to dive at the bag to see what was in there, "What is it? And..And...Yashi! I..."

The small child crossed her arms over her chest, "I missed you....And why are you looking at Kishi that way?" Turning to her sister, "What did you do to Yashi, Kishi?"

If her sister upset her bestest friend...
