Im just wondering what everyone else feels. What exactally is the presence of God like to you? What do you feel?
This is very important, (I cant tell you why untill im done) so I would be gratefull if everyone answered.

Wow! This is a good question! It's hard to say. I have had many spiritual experiences, and many times it's hard to tell whether it's God or not. Any limited human being such as myself can often easily be mislead. The number one thing I find when it comes to being with God is peace. He doesn't threaten me, or make me feel bad. He just casually invites me. Another thing is hope. Things look up; He seems to brighten my day. When I let Him, it also feels like a gentle wind or force that coerces (sp?) me to fall in submission to Him. This phenomenon is very difficult to describe. I also sometimes visualize Him as a loving, protecting Father, kneeling down and embracing a child. (Actually, it's more starting to feel like I am Him and I am someone else) Another thing I guess I'll mention is that He's genuinely interested in the fact that I'm listening to Him; responding to Him; He's pleased that I am.

Anytime I've felt God's presense there's been a definate peace that seems to surround you completey.
As for the Holy Spirit, those experiances have always been much more intense and I've usually experianced them with a group of other people. These experiances usually entail lots of (good) crying and being overwhelmed with this wonderful presense. =)

That is a good question. I think the presence of God is different for everyone. I think he touches you and fills you in the way you need it most. He also knows how much you are able to accept do to your walk with him. He is with us all at every moment, but some don't feel him simply because they are not at a point in there walk to accept all that he has to give them.
