This is basically a guide which covers roughly what is basically on the curriculum. If you're feeling lazy, read this. You still need to show me your skills in the Graduation Thread though.
This guild is a semi-literate guild, which means that you don't have to be an RP multi-paragraphing genius like Proto and MiniMidget and some of the Konoha guys but you have to be literate.
There will be NO ONE LINERS.
There will be NO STUFF LIKE THIS: -walks to academy- is anybody here? -sits down waiting-
There will be NO SPAMMING. Be patient. People live in different time zones and they're probably not going to be on at the same time as you what with school and all.
There will be NO GODMODDING. Can't stress that enough... we have a battle system so use it and follow what the dice dictates.
There will be NO CONTROLLING OF ANOTHER PERSON'S CHARACTER. Aka 'bunnying', thanks Kayne Hatake xD Basically, you can't say that a person didn't dodge the attack if he hasn't rolled yet, or that he just stood there while you pummeled him or stuff like that.
There will be NO DELETING. This is to prevent occasions when people delete a post because you did not get the result you wished to achieve and want to try again. This is a bannable offence. Although we can tell when people have deleted posts, in fact where and when, we can't tell for what purpose it was. Therefore we're putting a blanket ban on post deletions.
And make sure not to use many emoticons!
There will be LITERACY. Like I said earlier, you don't have to be an epic writer with like ten paragraphs per post, but at the very least, four sentences. At the very least.
Unless you're on a mission/fighting, in which you can't really describe much, what with it being action-oriented and depending on each other and all.
But if you're talking, training, eating ramen, trying to learn a jutsu (especially in the Academy...) four sentences should be what you're aiming for.
There will be PROPER SPELLING. No one will mind if you get the occasional word wrong or if you do a mixture of British and American or whatever, but please make sure that your post is easy to read for everybody. We are a semi-lit guild so don't jump on people for making mistakes or simply not being literate. However semi-lit RPers try to make your posts easier for literates to read
