For some reason bella isn't effected by vampires (meaning she doesn't get as intimidated as the rest of the humans) and their extra powers, but i'm still waiting for some surpriseing ancestrol history or something like that to pop out explain why....

It's only powers that have to do with her mind. Her mind is *very* blocked off.

Jane's is making you think you are in pain. You aren't actually *in* pain. She just makes it seem like it. MIND trick.
Aro looks into your MIND for your past.
Alice's isn't with the mind. It's the body.
Jasper actually makes your body feel calm..or whatever. He doesn't make you *think* you're calm/whatever, you *are* then calm/whatever.

I can try explaining it more if I was confusing? sweatdrop sorta, like nothing can influence her mind, but then jane (from what i understand) tortures you so you are in horrible pain. i always thought it was physical pain she was inflicting but it could be that she is screwing some stuff up in your head, that would make your theory possible...

well near the ending of new moon when they were in Paris with the Volturi, one of the vampires said that she might have a Special gift (like Edward Rosalie and Jasper) if she became one of them...so yeah

It mentions right at the beginning of the first book that her brain seems to run on a different frequency... I hope Stephenie doesn't leave any loose ends- there are so many questions yet to be answered!

I'd have to agree with Raezyn. When Edward said her mind was on a "different frequency," that was just a theory. If Meyer doesn't explain it in the next book, then it'll definately be in the fourth. It's not something that you can ignore...it's kinda mostly what the books are about - Bella turning/not turning into a vampire. Immunities included.

Exactly to that point. No way could she leave that hanging.
Stephenie is one to have all ties loose..And any tie she leaves hanging will because she's told so many people online that she didn't remember to add it in the books.
Rip a vampire apart..Peice them back together. Goood as neeeewww~ Great, right? xD
I've been analyzing why for quite some time...Maybe one of us have got the answer, but none are ment to know until Stephenie gives the signal. ^^
