Teal gloved legs carried the now adolescent female across the grass towards the watering hole at a speed that was hard to watch. She had inherited a little of her mother's fabled speed, though her larger body made it hard to use on the ground. Mostly she was used to the cascading undertorrent of the water.
That was what she was headed for at least. The golden and teal female wanted to swim and she wanted to swim now. It had been far too long since she'd gotten to dip her body beneath any liquid at all and all she had wanted to do for the past few months was find the ocean.
Well Miremba had explained that there was water nearby and she was going to go take a dip if it killed her. Sharp green eyes flashed over the ground to see if there was anyone else around her as she ran.

 The golden female had been out on her own, searching for prey in the packlands. Dogs normally hunted in packs, but a former life alone had taught her many tricks, and even a lone dog could hunt down smaller prey. Perhaps it wouldn't have been wiser to take along a hunting partner, but there were so many pups around and they were always hungry, and food was a necessity for all.
She had managed to hunt down and catch two good sized rabbits. A zebra would have been a better meal, but these were fat and would serve to feed the pack, she'd just have to hunt sooner again.
Now she had paused by the river, her prey resting protected between her front paws. The hunt had made her thirsty, and now she stood with her head lowered to take a drink from the cool water.

All but ready to dive into the water as quickly as possible, Kizaki froze the minute she saw the golden female standing beside the river. It wouldn't exactly be that nice to go diving into the river and soak the other female, so she attempted some of that restraint stuff that her mother had tried to teach her so long ago.
Lifting her head she smiled at the other golden dog and curled her tail under her belly. She was still the lowest ranking member of this pack, so this female did deserve respect.
"Hello sister." Kizaki called out across the distance. "Hunting go well?"
She didn't exactly know how to start the conversation. Still new to it all.

Blue eyes looked up from the water, settling on the form of the younger dog, taking note of her posture. Recognizing the adolescent as a pack member, Ritsuko had no need to raise her guard, though she did keep an eye on the younger dog.
"It goes well enough."

"Ah." Kizaki said simply as she walked up next to the older female slowly, her tail still between her legs. "Hm, you know... sometimes, when the moonlight hits the water just right you can see it dance?"
Her eyes shimmered for a moment as she glanced out over the cerulean pool quietly, admiring how beautiful it was, though she really wanted to go swim.
"Ever swam before?" She asked a little playfully a moment later.
