Who would be the actors?
I can imagine Elijah Wood as Thomas, but that's just me...What do you guys think?

i never thought about it before
i dunno bout elijah woods although he does have the whole innocent thing down...i guess i just cant see him as thomas still stuck on him being frodo and all

I'd rather a movie on 1. It's the only one I see adapting to a movie the best. Drama, suspense, betrayal, death and despair. What a movie it would be!

i'd say two would make the best movie. 3 would be misguided at the fact that theres three (or four) different viewpoints.
but rumor has it that konami is making a suikoden movie...but of which one i dont knoe

Only reason I didn't choose 2 was because it didn't have enough memorable deaths (not that I enjoy that) and it didn't have my major factor.... Father VS Son. My biggest thing in that game was when you had to fight Teo. That was emotional. So I think that would make one hell of a movie. 2 couldn't do it for me

There is already a Suikoden Anime movie, a flyer for it came with the European version of Suikoden 1. I've got the anime, it doesn't have any of the characters from the games in it, but it is worth watching.
As for a 'live' movie, I really can't imagine it doing the games justice when you think about the fact they have to have 108 'main' roles, which you just know they would overlook some characters, and that would just be a disappointment. Even if they don't have vast roles within the games, their role in a movie would be even more diminished. So I would think an anime series would do the games more justice in terms of depth, and character development.
As for the actors I can't really imagine anyone doing any of the main characters justice, such as Tir, Jowy, Chirs etc....I just can't think of an actor I could say "Yeah he/she would make a good *insert name here*"

If they couldn't do Suikoden the movie they could do suikoden the mini siries, then they could make it as long as they wanted so that they wouldn't have to leave anything out. Christian Slader would be a good Mike... Haley Joel Osment would make a cute Hugo I think, He is about the right age too... Hmmmm...I'll be thinking about this all day now.

Umm... Maybe it's only me, but I'm not sure if Elijah Wood would be right for Master Thomas... He always had the weird "look" in the Lord of the Rings, and that look gives me nightmares to this day... gonk
Even though they're not directly related to the games, I saw a couple of movies based off the original Water Margin. Father bought them in Chinatown... One was called the Water Margin, and the sequel was called All Men Are Brothers, I think? I can't read Chinese... They were interesting, and had a lot of characters (who looked the same), but they all died in the end... sweatdrop

if there is a suikoden 3 ill kill my self xd specially if its american jajaja i mean suikoden 3 is the worst suikoden xd
but i guess..
i would see some one like hmm what her name: you know the girl in terminator 3 i think she would do a nice chris..
and hmm for hugo..hmm guess you need a latino or some one tan at least so lets say fez in that 70 show xd
as for geddoe...hmm hard one sweatdrop geddoe it could be hmmm oh i know viggo mortensen better know under the name of aragorn xd
i have idea for other caractere but i wont name the 108 would make a long post xd
